Very good hotel in great location, and parking very easy just around the corner in public car park. Although we did not eat in the hotel there were plenty of people in the restaurant. The reception were very helpful and the room standard with king size bed very well decorated

Overall a very nice hotel. The reception staff were very helpful on arrival. The room was very comfortable but it had a strange saloon glass doors to the bathroom. Breakfast was very good but the seating arrangement confused many guests. What I mean is the low comfortable chairs which would be fine for a coffee but not breakfast. The hotel is within sight of the cathedral and an easy walk to restaurants. Overall very good.

I joined a large group of cyclists here for 1 night. The location was perfect with the train station so close. The bar was closed earlier than I would have liked but the room was large and clean. I would recommend this hotel and stay again.

Nice, modern hotel. Great location, service and food. Bathrooms have frosted glass doors, toilet in a separate room (with a proper door). No parking at the hotel, but some street parking available and a parking garage just around the corner.

Staff on reception were very professional, friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is excellent and within a few hundred metres of the Cathedral and easy walking distance to the town and numerous restaurants. We were in standard rooms which are pleasant, quite good size, bathroom a bit small but everything that is needed in the rooms are there. Beds were comfortable with good quality linen. Buffet breakfast was a good choice of hot or cold and quite extensive. Only one complaint - when hot water is supplied in flasks to make tea yourselves, its never hot enough! Overall it was a comfortable stay and would have no problems recommending this hotel to travellers visiting Amiens.

Male reception staff unfriendly in customer service, showing even a certain disregard for customer service. Customer gets to feel embarrassed in some moments. Routine hotel requests, no service (eg wake-up service)

Booked online at 79 Euro per night (as opposed to normal rate of 144) this was a perfect base to explore Amiens and surrounds. Our welcome from Fanny was wonderful with lots of information and maps provided. The rooms are clearly recently renovated and first rate. Breakfast @16 euro was a hot and cold buffet and really good value. No parking onsite but plenty in the area. Many good restaurants 10 minutes away. Couldn't ask for more.

I would highly recommend this Hotel to friends and family as a base for touring the Somme Battlefields or just visiting the Somme area. The staff were very courteous and helpful and the room well appointed. We were very fortunate in having a room with an outside terrace which gave us a great view of the Amiens Cathedral Sound and Light Show ( but without the sound) The Hotel is very well located in Central Amiens.

The Mercure is right by the Cathedral and within easy walking distance of the main attractions in Amiens and the station. The people at the hotel are really friendly and helpful, perfectly happy to speak English or French. This was our first visit to Amiens and we will back to further explore the area and when we return we will stay at the Mercure.

I booked this hotel through my le club accor membership and it proved to be one of the best hotels and in the best locations in town. It was a I minute walk to the cathedral, close to shops, restaurants and transport could not have asked for anything better, even the staff were really helpful and friendly.

As a family with teenage children I am getting frustrated with the modern Accor Group room layout.. There is a consistent attempt for intimacy in the bedroom / bathroom layout which is not suitable for families.Doors with large slots Saloon doors with a 15cm hole in the middle. Frosted glass doors that are opaque and backlit. This is wholly unsuitable for family rooms and a huge mistake which will drive families away from Accor Group hotels.

We were made welcome as soon as we arrived and all through our stay, the staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly in the reception or the bar. The bar is a nice relaxing place to unwind with a view of the Cathedral. We had quite a large quiet room, somewhere at the back of the hotel which was very clean and well looked after. Great large bed with superb bedding for a good nights sleep. I must admit I would have liked a Cathedral view. The bathroom was rather small and it was a tight squeeze to get into the bath or shower. They did provide hard soap but unfortunately no body lotion. The hairdryer was a bit of an antique and rather heavy to use. However it was all clean and well kept. Toilet was separate. The breakfasts were excellent, couldn't fault at all. The hotel is well place for visiting the Cathedral, shopping or walking down to the River Somme in the evenings for good restaurants esp Le Quai. Ideally placed for driving to visitor attractions which aren't too far away. It doesn't have its own car park but a secure car park is very close and not too expensive. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend. As a Silver Accor member I was hoping for an upgrade but this didn't happen, perhaps next time. Thank you for making us welcome.

This is a superb hotel for those who want to view the cathedral and city of Amiens. I cannot fault the staff or the hotel. You view the hotel 500m away from the front door. Parking is very close by and reasonable. Many Many thanks to Sabrina in particular who ensured we were warned in advance that the restaurants in the hotel and surrounding area were closed on Easter Monday, meaning we could make alternative arrangements! important when an 11 year old is in tow! MERCI BIEN!!!

The Hotel was OK but the booking process was terrible through Accor Hotels. We wanted to add a night after the original booking. This could not be done online so I called and was given at least 3 different prices. At this point I could have cancelled and booked through Hotels.com for less but persevered with Accor. The additional night cost 30 euro more and did not include breakfast. Accor just say that 'the computer decides the price'. there is no customer service and no 'loyalty' benefits with Accor.

We had a large room with a comfortable bed . The WC and bathroom were separate which is good but the bathroom was pokey and the bath difficult to reach. It necessitated reaching round a screen to operate the taps. the plug did not work properly and we left the hotel with the bath unemptied. there were no separate shampoo/conditioner/,body lotion and the receptionist to whom we mentioned this did not feel it was her job to deal with this

The hotel is very well located and easy to find. Public parking is a short walk but very reasonable price. All staff were very helpful and room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. Breakfast is the usual good 'Mercure' spread, and many restaurants within easy walking distance for evenings.

A few steps from the cathedral, and walking distance to the center: terrific location. Friendly, very accommodating staff (specially a blond person at the front desk). Fairly basic room but clean and quiet, and spacious enough. Totally awful pillows. No individual toiletries. Good experience overall.

Great location and convenient for the lively town and of course the magnificent gothic cathedral. Room was large (paid extra for this) with a balcony and a stunning full on view of the cathedral. The room itself was quite bland but acceptable. Very friendly and helpful front office staff. Parking is about a 3 minute walk.
