Affordable budget hotel, good location, bed is good as well. Shower water pressure was good. However the shower and toilet is a bit small for me because I am wuite a big person but otherwise all things consodered this is a good budget hotel. And the cleaning lady was amazing making sure our bed was always tidy in the morning.

This hotel is basic to other ibis I have stayed in however the room was perfect for us, it was very clean and in a great location for Manchester town centre . Staff at this hotel where very nice and helpful even the maids always had a smile and made you feel welcome. I would defiantly be coming back .

The staff at the reception advised me to park in a car park about three minutes away from the hotel. This was due to lack of parking space for lodgers even though the building is got a lot of empty parking spaces. The hotel do not explain further that even the private car park got bays you should not park on. Few bays are only available for paid parking. Due to this I got a parking ticket even though I paid for parking.

I have stayed in Ibis Budget hotels before and have not been disappointed. They may have basic facilities, but the rooms are clean, comfortable and perfect for a few days’ stay. Linen was spotless as were the toilet and shower.

Booked 2 rooms to stay over to watch a football match at Man City. Two identical rooms. Both basic but fine for purpose and good value. Only downside was one room stunk of cigarette smoke and someone had put a sock over the smoke detector. Worrying that this was not picked up in cleaning? We were offered an alternative room so handled well. Excellent value for money.

I didn't stay on this date as i booked it for the 2nd Dec and when i received the confirmation the date was wrong.............i was told i could still have the 2nd Dec but the price wouldn't be £27.55 but about £116!!! I will never use this hotel chain again.

Reminded me more of a hostel, but was great value for our stay in Manchester. Very close to the New Islington tram stop (and there is a car park at the tram stop as well), and a Domino’s and Costa next door. It had a very informal set up, very relaxed. The cleanliness was top notch and so were the furnishings. The heating / cooling was hard to balance to get the room temp right. We had plenty of space and all 4 beds were comfy. Just a few negatives, but only to be picky. There was practically no privacy which as a blended family might have been an issue if we hadn’t already done all the family changing rooms at the swimming pool. There were no plug sockets close to a mirror for drying my hair. The stairs closest to us terminated at an alarmed fire exit rather than a usable exit, and I didn’t see any indication of this at any point before the final door. Also could have used some larger / more towels and also some usb sockets. Overall it is the best hotel we have stayed at in a long time!

Pretty much what I was expecting. Clean, can't grumble about that. Beds were "firm". Odd shower room configuration, basically the shower is in the bedroom complete with glass door so if you're planning on using it you'll need to be happy to do so in front of the rest of your roommates.

Not good for if you’re going on a night out with friends. No full length mirror and no plugs anywhere near bathroom that has the only mirror so is impossible to do hair or choose outfit etc. One small window in room so was very dark

I stayed here two nights and can say it is good value for money. I did not have breakfast but slept very well. It is only a couple of stops away on the tram from the main train station. It was very similar to other Ibis Budget hotels so if you have stayed in any other location you will know what to expect. The only minor disappointment was being charged to leave baggage in the hotel after check-out until the afternoon.

We had to change room, as the first one was TOO dirty. The second one wasn't't very clean either, but we gave up, as we were staying for just one night. Very expensive for what we get. Reception staff very kind and helpful though. They saved the day.

Small clean rooms. Good value, nice staff and great location. Especially if you wish to explore the night life. Costa directly behind the hotel, don't go looking all over for coffee like I did the first day.

Ok stay, as I expected from budget. Bed was a little hard for me, but I still slept ok. Only problem was the room initially. Booked a twin, but needed to change to a room that fits 3. Rang up and got it changed nut when we arrived it was changed to another twin room with no shower. Went back down and they changed it correctly.

If your main concern is cleanliness and price this is the ideal hotel if your after luxuries or price is not your concern then go elsewhere, but for all basic needs the hotel is perfect, the Air Conditioner and Wifi were okay and there was no noise.

Clean, tidy pleasant room on 6th floor. Toilet could perhaps have been bigger but overall satisfied. Bed was comfortable, and being 6th floor, very little noise. Decent buffet breakfast as well with numerous items to choose from.

This has got to be the worst £155 I have ever spent. I was told the room would usually be £100 on a Saturday night by the manager. There was no Tea or Coffee making facilities, the shower was by the bed with a door that didn't close so the bedroom floor was wet. The towels we thread bear and the only cupboard had a toilet in it. The air con was broken and the window didn't open. The reception area was too informal, being checked in by a teenager with an IPhone isn't my idea of professionalism (maybe that is showing my age) There isn't any parking so you have to park a 15 minute walk away

We are aware that this was a budget hotel but Bed was so hard I couldn't sleep Toilet was so small we knocked knees on door and I'm only 5 foot tall The shower door didn't close properly so there was water all over floor outside shower Toilet rose fell off when water was turned off hitting both myself and my husband on our heads when we finished our shower No where to hang all towels even though you want us to use them again Staff at reception not helpful even when my husband said he was a platinum card holder Web site was misleading about whether there was a restaurant and bar at hotel

Very disappointing hotel and pretty awful room, €170.00 for 2 night stay (breakfast NOT included!), weird & confusing reception area, hospital look rooms, all furniture nailed down, lino floor, tiny shower cubicle, tiny toilet with just enough room to sit. Called hotel 15 times with query prior to stay, cut off every time, didn't get to speak to anyone. Awful!

The best thing was the price, but there were a few gripes. The shower cubicle and sink were in the bedroom, not great but it's the budget option I suppose, which is why there was no kettle and tea and coffee (although there is a coffee shop in the same unit). The toilet is separate, but the gap between the loo and the door is far too small - I'm only 170cm tall, but even I found it a squeeze, so imagine someone much taller trying to use it! It was clean, and the staff were friendly, and even though it's on the busy Ancoats Road, it wasn't too noisy. It's a littte out of the city centre, but there's a nice walk along the canal to get to Piccadilly, and there's a tram stop very close. Overall, this budget option does what it needs to - a no-frills room for not much money.
