I have complained several times about service quality in the city of Antofagasta. I am glad to have found the opposite at Ibis hotel Antofagasta. Service quality is better than other Ibis hotels in Chilean cities such as Santiago or Copiapó. Check in was fast and they offered me a complementary drink for my Accor Hotels membership. I didn't have to ask for it and that was appreciated. One problem I found at the room was the security box didn't work. This was the opportunity to test if they solve any problem within 15 minutes, as they advertise. I called the reception desk and in less than 10 minutes, the technician was at the room fixing the box. Problem solved. Restaurant personnel were very efficient. I would like to give a special mention to Maria for her kindness. Breakfast includes the IBIS basics such as bread, scrambled eggs, cheese, a variety of ham, variety of fruit, juice, coffee. I would like to highlight the pastries, prepared sandwiches, scrambled eggs with ham and waffles. Room and bathroom were clean. The TV worked with no problems. Fast internet connection. No problems at all during check-out.
