Friendly person at reception. Quality as expected. Would like to choose ground floor room as a bit old!! Our dog also enjoys it at Chateaudun. This must be or twentieth visit so must be good.what else can one say, the local town centre is worth a visit. If you are a Brit don't expect to get petrol at next door supermarket when it's Sunday or holidays as auto pump won't take your card !!!!!

Despite being a silver member and requesting a change of date well in advance refused to do so. Dreadful customer service towards what had been a loyal customer. Would have been simple for them to amend date.

We booked this hotel on advice for a cheap overnight stop on our way from Calis to the Gers. I couldn't believe the price, £29 for our room and didn't expect much. I was impressed with the young man who booked us in, he was clean polite and spoke English very well. There was no lift to our second floor room which was a bit of a pain as we had quite a lot of luggage that I did not want to leave in the car. The room was clean and in good order, the shower was efficient and the whole place well equipped particularly considering the price. The hotel had a large well lit car park that our room was above so I was happy with the car being there overnight. We ate in the Buffalo grill nearby but the young man on reception had made a point of telling us we would get a discount at the restaurant next door. The only issues we had was the noise front the car park. All night there were people in the car park talking loudly and cars in and out all night. I do not know if these people were connected with the hotel or not but it was frustrating. If we had had a room at the back I think it would have been fine. In addition I found the bed was quite a thin matrix direct on a wood back, after a while I found this uncomfortable, however I had only paid £29 for two so no complaints there. In all this room was excellent value, clean well equipped and the staff professional and polite.

When travelling South, Chateaudun, about 4 hours from Dieppe or 6 hours from Dunkirk, is a logical stopping point. The hotel is comfortable, with a decent shower and plenty of parking. The Wi-Fi is free but only available in the reception area or the rooms close by. Reception was friendly and helpful. We will probably use it again.

Beware your reference to check in automatically may contain what appears to be a 1, it could be an I, which I discovered to my cost! The breakfast doesn't compare to ones I have experienced previously in other Budget Ibis's

Booked this hotel for its convenience on our travels. Lived up to the Ibis standard. Easy to find, beds were clean and the water hot, close to places to eat and breakfast next day. Just the thing to send us on our wway

A good stay at this Ibis budget hotel, that does what it says on the tin. Easy check in, normal high standard of cleanliness. The good thing about these hotels is the bed - very comfortable. No noise from next door, a very good nights sleep. One minus - no lift.

After 10 hours driving it was a pleasure to get to the hotel. I t was clean comfortable and easy to find using sat nav. Breakfast simple but good. The guests where quiet so enabling us to get a good nights sleep

Excellent location, friendly staff, good buffet breakfast. With a choice of restaurants within 100 yards! and good facilities close at hand, pin drop quiet at night. Chateadun town full of character, bars and restaurants.

We travel between SW France, where we have a holiday home, and NW England on at least 2 occasions per year (benefits of retirement!). We prefer to have a break somewhere en route. Crossing times usually determine this. We had never stayed at the Ibis Budget in Chateaudun before but were favourably impressed by friendly helpful reception, clean cool room (on a very hot day), good bathroom and peaceful nights sleep. This had been preceded by a meal at the nearby 'Buffalo Grill' which offers 10% discount to hotel guests. Breakfast buffet in the morning was good and fresh with adequate choice. Staff were almost invisible, but helpful when needed and friendly. As budget accomodation goes this was very good value and we would be happy to overnight there again, particularly as its location is so convenient for through travellers. Whether the town of Chateaudun itself merits a longer stay I'm afraid I am unable to say.

Well placed hotel for journey, and we thoroughly enjoyed our nights stay. The hotel is situated in a very quiet part of the town. Room was very clean, and the breakfast in the morning was a delight. The staff that we met were very good, and made our stay more memorable.

very convenient stop over on a long drive from Andalucia to UK. Better than premier classe and well worth the extra couple of euros. We had a very good nights sleep after a decent hot shower with room to swing a decent sized cat so all in all it fitted the bill perfectly for a travellodge. No complaints whatsoever.

We wanted an inexpensive stopover en route to our second home in south-west France. We usually look for somewhere different to vary the trip. The Ibis Budget is ideally located close to the autoroutes and very close to the attractive town of Chateaudun. There are three fast food restaurants within 100 metres of the hotel, at least one serving food 24/7. It's a typical hotel of this kind but as we arrived on Easter Monday the staff had left two chocolate eggs on our pillows with a welcome note wishing us a happy Easter. Breakfast was good value with a wide variety of comestibles and no limit on intake.

Good budget hotel ideally placed off N10 for a stopover. Some of the room facilities need attention (eg toilet seat but for 50 euros for 2 people bed and breakfast its difficult to beat.Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Would stay again
