This hotel is really average compared with other Ibis hotels and definitely needs some TLC. It looks like we are stepping back to the 1970's and it is surprising to see how the whole capital of perfumery area looks so oldish. The bin was not emptied in our bathroom and the colour of the pillow case was suspicious. The staff is friendly but it looks like it is minimal so they end up running both the reception and the food area. The plus is the car park on site and the location close to the pedestrian street with restaurants. However, we definitely have had better experiences in other Accor group hotels.
Hotel was good option for stay near to Cannes. Its just 30 minutes by car or bus. Also hours to Monaco by car, or 1 hour to Nice. There is a big hypermarket Casino near to this location. Staff is very kind, they can provide any help (they gave us a teapot).
The staff were very friendly. Unfortunately there were ants in our room right next to my bedside table so I didn't sleep very well. We arrived late at night and the hotel was full so I didn't think we could move rooms. In the morning the light was shining through an extensive number of holes in the curtain. Presumably caused by moths.
Nice setting in a town with excellent choice of restaurants in walking distance. Staff were a little sleepy re booking and what drinks they could offer. Good size car park. Swimming pool is small but good. No restaurant but see previous comment re local facilities within walking distance.
In case you are looking for a quite hotel to relax it is recommended. Additionally you can leave your car and move around(Cannes-Nice-Monte Carlo) by train, since the railway station is just to the next door. Very comfortable and convenient. The room was larger than the Ibis hotels respective ones. However the bathroom floor was made by plastic(not ceramic or tiles). The new constructed small swimming pool, was, for the time being, out of service, waiting for being certified by the local authorities. A lot of outdoor parking lots, place suitable and safe for cars.
The hotel is difficult to find, but the beds are comfortable and overall it was a pleasant place. It's right next to the train station (though we drove there in our RCZ) and the town itself is a short walk and there are many nice restaurants in the town.
The hotel was very clean and the staff were helpful. It is extremely convenient for the train station at Mouans-Sartoux and for the village centre. The village has retained its traditional charm while having an interesting modern art gallery, a cinema and a living "museum" of the plants grown for the perfume industry.
