We booked our stay via booking.com and that's where the 1st problem occurred. We booked this hotel as kids could stay free but in fact once we arrived we were told our son had to sleep in our bed or we had to pay extra (which in the end made this hotel not cheap at all). The rooms are very small with no real place to put your clothes. And if you pay for the extra bed then you can barely move. The safe in our room was broken as was the air conditioning too (on freesing mode and could not be changed). On the positive though the pool is amazing and cleaned every night which is great as the beach right at the hotel is definitely not the best! Breakfast was good and offered a big variety of food and staff was really friendly and helpful.
Great location, easy walking distance to fishermans village or Mae Nam. Pools with seats, beach front access (with lots of places to eat and drink a short distance down the sand). Clean rooms and the most friendly and engaging staff who are very willing to help. Food off the menu was really good, only the breakfast could have been better. I have stayed here 3 times and would come again.
Booked this hotel to fill in two days and should have stayed for our entire time in Koh Samui. The rooms are small; however to be expected at a Ibis brand hotel. The resort is in a good location and within walking distance to Fisherman's Village and plenty of nearby eating options. They offer a cheap shuttle ride to Central Festival and also Fisherman's Village for those who do not want to walk. The pool setting on the beach is ideal especially for families. Our teenage kids made great use of the beach and the pools. Overall a great time at Ibis Bo Phut and would definitely return in the future as we found this resort to be great value for money.
I changed 3 time of bedroom, one was in top car park, second one was for handicap person and flooding bathroom, third have problem with key not open and stay closed, 4th was good third floor with minimun of light
The check-in was quick and the room clean. For check-out at 05h30 am , I would recomend to leave more light in the lobby. It was very dark and outside no light was on . Walking between the hotel lobby and the street need more safe lighthing to avoid tripping and falling down. Pool area need supervision. lot of oily residy on the surface. More shower around the pool needed and more sign posted to require showering before entering. Have some supervision from he personnel as a lot af people leave their towel on the chairs and go on tour or elsewhere. . In the middle afternoon , no chairs available and half of them empty except towels on them. Maybe have pool personel remove them when no personal item left on the chairs.
Stayed for 2 nights It is a very nice hotel with a lovely beach. The pool is still under renovation, The room was ok although it very small . We had a lovely room which overlooked the pool and beach. However the bathroom was a bit small for me.overrall is great
I booked the family room and by contacting hotel prior to arrival, they helped to arrange us two connecting rooms which can actually accommodate 4 adults. The room was excellent, spacious and very nicely decorated. They provided umbrella in every room and wi-fi worked perfectly. Receptionists were helpful and nice. Swimming pool was slightly too small, totally not for swimming. Hotel was 25 minutes walking-distance from Fisherman's Village and considered quite far.
Good location on bophut area near fisher man village staff friend khun gram wachireewan om nice khun kwan and all staff are friendly fast checkin and checkout next time when i come to samui miss to sray here again lOve here
This hotel offered everything we needed. We had a large room overlooking the beach and pools. The view out to the islands was perfect. Yes, it is a budget hotel but the rooms are satisfactory, clean, good hot water. I usually use the Accor hotels as they have consistently good bedding and this was no exception. The hotel has a lot of grounds, 3 polls and is right on the beach. Many lounges are available around the pool and on the beach, there are plenty of umbrellas The poolside bar is open until 2300 and very pleasant it is at night looking out over the sea.. The food selection is what I would describe, pub food. It didn't interest me. Breakfast was pretty good, plenty of selections and better than other Ibis I have stayed at. Happy and helpful staff made this a great holiday for us. Reception was a let down for me, both on arrival and checkout. On arrival is took nearly 15 minutes to be attended to and then it seemed haphazard to me. Checkout was smooth but I had a problem with them charging me in my home currency. I asked them to change this and was informed it had happened, but not according to my account. For those who don't know, if you are offered payment in your home currency, be aware that the rate used will be approx. 3% less than the normal card rate. A good earner for the merchant. My emails x 2 on this matter have not been answered.!!
Ibis Samui is a nice hotel with clean environment. Location is located at prime area Services are good. With this opportunity would like to thanks for the hospitality of IBIS Samui Bophut staff. Well done.
The location was the best great value for money. The room is not big but it is properly organized. And it is clean. The room maid never failed to clean the room for us. (Refrigerator not cold) I'll be back.
I stayed with friends and we booked three rooms for three nights. Hotel is 25 mins far from the airport in Koh Samui. its around 20 mins away from the main street called chaweng. Nice staff but when ever I tried to contact the guy at the travel desk for transportation he was away. I didnt see him again less than 30 mins. PEOPLE ROOMS ARE VERY TINY even though they have alot of LAND. I dont know why they didn't utilize the space properly. Poor Architecture. food meny is very limited. Veterinarians will die starving. ha haa. NO ROOM SERVICE AT ALL THATS WEIRD.
A nice hotel far enough from noise and hazzle. The breakfast was good, the pools are a bit small for swimming (as usually in Thailand hotels). The beach got dirt and rubbish when it blew from north. Luckily it did only in the arrival day.
good view because near the sea and beautiful swimming pool receptionist and other office have good relationship, friendly breakfast have enough and good restaurant because near the sea room is clean and comfort
Having sea view from our room, being so close to the beach, polite and helpful staff made our stay awesome. Special thanks to housekeeper Pond, we were welcoming to our room each day with different surprises.
Hi We had a fantastic stay at Ibis Bophut and can recommend this hotel. We had nice accomodation and the hotel is placed by the nice Bophut beach and near The Fisherman Village which is exiting to visit.
very friendly and professional staff is working over there, reception, cleaning, breakfast restaurant staff all of them. The breakfast offered is of good quality. Nice pool area with a fantastic sea view.
Excellent for 3 star and more, - the staff here were very welcoming especially Ying, and the bar staff K Mui and K Aum and Aix made us very at home and served great food, Thai and western.. The view was stunning. A real bit of paradise. This was 3 star but where else would you get such lovely pools a hotel right on the beach, an amazing location, close to fishermans village and the hotel offers the best massage and reflexology options with the sound of the waves close by, for our room household... pond made our stay very special with towels turned into elephants, turtles and monkeys great fun and room very well cleaned. On arrival do not be alarmed at lack of AC its great in the rooms, and they could do with giving the lift a lick of paint. If you want a treat wander down to Zazen a top resort with food that warrants a michelin star. Fridays do thai tourist fisherman village walking street, live music and choose your fish and have it cooked. wonderful. Lots of excursions from the hotel range from fun trip round island to trip out to marine park and for a luxury day out boutique yachting is a must.
Small rooms in Ibis style. So as expected and no complains. Hotel with beach access and boule and table tennis. Breakfast is good quality - with Egg bar. Sea water not very clean. Rooms were clean. Little supermarkets, massage and restaurants at the main street in walking distance.
