We stayed in this hotel for three nights, whilst we were touring the battlefields of Flanders (we hired a car from Lille, after arriving by Eurostar). It was difficult to find, and at first we ended up in the nearby "Centre Commerciale". However, when we did find it, it was in a quiet location on a small road by the side of two large restaurants, where you could walk to within a couple of minutes in the evening for a meal and a drink. The parking was ample, and the gate secured at night. There was a quiet canal by the side of the hotel, with joggers / dog walkers along side it. The staff at the hotel were excellent. Professional, friendly, hard working, smart, they made you feel welcome. They even spoke good English. The breakfast was also excellent - cereals, bread, croissants, cheese, yoghurts, fruit salad, tea, coffee, fruit juice and a array of jams and spreads. The room was ensuite, comfortable and quiet. The door to the bathroom needed a lick of paint, but that was a minor point. We would stay here again. Close to many shops, restaurants, too - and we got some discount vouchers for these from the hotel.
