Another great stay, mstaff are very friendly and always a smile greets you after a hard days work, or as you leave. Rooms very clean comfy, shower always piping hot. Recently left my iPad and was contacted by the staff to say it was safe with them. A massive thank you to all. See you soon

Stayed for one night after a meeting, the guy on reception was fantastic and couldn’t do enough. Room and breakfast OK, good value for money. Would definitely stay at this hotel again if another meeting comes up.

Prices have risen. For £60 a night I would certainly expect more outside of the city. Feeble wifi, breakfast not included and dearer than the local 'opposition'. The hotel was still clean and tidy, thecstaff still courteous and helpful but the other areas are falling behind. I fail to see how £60 a night for the bare minimum facilities (no tea/coffee making facilities or toiletries, postage stamp sized towels) can be called 'Budget'. The Air Conditioning was either turned off or didn't work. I will go back but only because the location is convenient for me.

A Good value hotel for one nights stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms comfortable and clean. A good nights sleep on a budget. Location was ideal for us and parking was easy and close to entrance. Overall ver happy.

So simple it's easy. Very friendly, helpful, smiley staff. Great breakfast. Excellent location. Rooms clean, can't hear any road noise, comfy bed. Best showers ever. Access to food and drinks from reception at reasonable cost.

Stayed here many times but constant internet issues with it dropping out, arrived to be told rooms have been refurbished which were very nice, lthough tv did not work t all, changed rooms only gain tv not tuned in nd most channels missing, Couldn't be bothered to go back to reception nd watched tv from my iPad using my phone data, s yet again poor quality Internet,

Whilst quite basic, it IS a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. Having said that, although the room was basic (no Tea or Coffee here) it was very clean and perfectly fine for a one night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and breakfast was lovely. Overall I would stay again - but this time would know what I was getting.

Hotel OK but very unhappy with parking arrangement. Checked in on 29th May and gave my reg number to reception. Before check out on 30th, I had to leave car park to refuel at the nearby petrol station and also to visit Repton briefly. Left at about 9.00am and returned at 9.42am. My wife stayed in our room and when I returned we packed and checked out well before the midday deadline. Left car park at10.58am. The reason I know the time is because I have subsequently received a parking fine for £100, presumably because I Ieft the car park and then returned. I am appealing the fine, but why should I have received a fine before checking out of my room? What happens if you want to drive somewhere to eat out? Very unhappy, and has put me off using Ibis again if that's the way they treat guests.

Me and my friends stayed at this hotel on the Thursday night and Monday night before and after going to the festival. It's only a 20 minute drive and definitely worth staying in. There's a great pub opposite that's serves HUGE portions of food for very reasonable prices. The bed is super comfy and after camping in a field for the weekend it's a really good spot. The showers are really nice and powerful and the rooms are a decent size. Fellow Downloaders. I thoroughly recommend you stay here for the festival.

Good condition and clean (staying in upper floor room at rear) and quiet. Attentive and helpful staff. Location not in central Derby but on by-pass on way to Burton but walkable from nearby country railway station (or canal!)

As per usual the staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good value for money. The only reason I didnt award it 5/5 is that on what was a very warm evening, we were unable to switch on the fan as it was programmed to a particular temperature. Given that it was around 23 degrees the room was uncomfortably hot and all we could do was to open the window which meant that we heard a considerable amount of road noise. The fan switched on automatically the following morning when we didnt need it as the temperature was somewhat lower.

We stayed at this ibis budget because of its proximity to Alton towers. The hotel is just off a main roundabout with a gastro-pub, and service station. The hotel was very efficiently run with the compact but well layed out room which was very comfortable, self-serve breakfast from 6-10am which was very reasonable and ample for our needs, and lastly the quick check-out feature which allowed us to depart easily and quickly. Wi-fi is available, however does not provide the most reliable connection or speeds (not the biggest issue considering the budget aspect of the hotel). I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent hotel. Clean, very friendly and helpful staff. We stay regularly once a month and have never had cause to complain. Parking is plentiful and easy. WiFi easily accessible. TV in room. Although rooms basic, bed comfy, TV available. My possible only complaint would like tea making facilities in room. However you can always get a cup of tea or coffee in reception for a small fee.

The hotel was very easy to find and convenient for my visit to Donington Park for the British Superbike Races. The service that I received was excellent, the cleanliness of the room and the breakfast was very good value for money, and car parking was free. The staff were very polite and helpful at all times.

This is the second time I have stopped at this hotel and it remains a good value for money option despite poor WiFi and the absence of any tea making facilities. The rooms are functional but always clean. The comfortable bed ensures a good night's sleep and the power shower ensures that you wake up! The breakfast is very good value with a wide variety of hot and cold food. The reception staff are always friendly and efficient.

This was the second time I had stayed at this Ibis hotel - last time the booking was muddled up but this time everything was fine - except instead of 2 adults there were 3, and consequently the room seemed much more cramped. However, clean, warmed up nicely, excellent shower. Quiet too, given that it is close to a major road. Breakfast was great value - the usual bread/croissant/cereal options plus bacon, eggs, beans all for £5.50! Plenty of space in the car park. About 10 mins drive into Derby. Will stay again!

We stayed at the Ibis Budget Derby recently for one night as had an event to go to close by. The room was good value for money, it was clean and comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room with a bunks for 3 adults and at £35 what a bargain!

This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and once again it did not disappoint. The room was basic but adequate, it was clean, warm and comfortable, what more did we need? Will definitely stay again.

We have stayed at this motel several times now on our way to friends in Telford or to the NEC or similar occasions. The place is always spotless, the staff polite and professional, it is excellent value. Yes, it is basic but comfortable. The rooms are suitable for couples or close friends as there is not a lot of privacy due to the layout of the shower and toilet. There is a pub just across the other side of the car park which serves lovely meals. Breakfast in the motel is good for £5.50 (all you can eat) or the pub serves breakfast too. We will be back again and again!

Does exactly what it says on the tin, cheap, clean and convenient and a good location. Rooms are modern, with comfy beds and great shower. The only bad point is that there's no kettle for a morning tea or coffee but you could bring your own.
