We were attending Athletics at Olymp[ic Park. Great room location right over the road from venue, short walk up to restaurants etc at night. was able to park the car and leave it until ready to depart. the gentleman we dealt with on check in was very friendly and helpful with directions. I would definetly stay at Ibis Budget again when in the homebush precinct

The rooms are small but clean and well maintained, and did quite well for me and my luggage. No frills or fancy features, but everything you need. The toilet and bathroom are a little cramped and I wouldn't want to have any more than two people in the room but it did what I needed.

Only stayed for one night with a friend but it had everything we needed for the one night. We also got the breakfast which was good. There's a convenience store right next door if you forgot any necessities and there are a couple of other 'take away' type of shops next door. Close to Olympic Park Station. We went there for a concert and we got food for dinner earlier in the day as there didn't seem to be any places open late at night - but I'm not sure. I wrote the location as good if you are planning on attending an event at Homebush (like we were) otherwise I wouldn't recommend if you're going on a casual holiday!

Was in a reasonable location for where we wanted to go. Rooms were clean but the beds and pillows supplied were absolute garbage. Had the worst nights sleep ever. The staff were friendly but the lobby smelt like someone had pissed in it

When we booked, we knew that we were booking a budget hotel and was prepared for anything. The room itself exceeded our expectations. The only thing that we could see that may be able to be improved was the breakfast. There were not enough staff when we stayed to keep up with the demand of breakfast. This is a small issue that could be resolved within the hotel and it has not deterred us from going back if we need accommodation in Olympic Park in the future.

The room was clean and well maintained. We were after a budget friendly place to stay where we could get a good nights sleep. We found it here at Ibis Budget Olympic Park. Parking costs $15 which could have been complimentary or provided a bit cheaper. We were still happy to pay the $15 to ensure our car was off the street and more secure.

Booked here at the last minute to go to the Royal Easter Show. They kindly rang me the day before to advise on parking because of the show being busy which was appreciated. The bed was comfy and the room and bathroom was clean. Couldn't find a light switch to turn on main room light or bedside light. Other light switch near door was sufficient as we were not there for long before we went to bed.

Having booked this motel back before Christmas we were a bit dismayed to find out we had not booked the motel we had intended. After being directed to this motel we were greeted by very friendly and inviting reception staff. They could not be more helpful. The room was basic but very comfortable. The room included everything that you need and the bed was so comfortable. We had a lovely corner room with two windows looking out toward ANZ stadium and Parramatta. Although the shower space was a little small especially for my husband, the water pressure and shower spray was ideal. The actual running water shower was better than we have had in more upmarket motels. The carpet needs replacing as it is stained and old. We would recommend this motel if you are looking for somewhere comfortable but don't need all the bells and whistles.

Last time I stayed here I was pleasantly surprised when it exceeded my expectations and on my second visit I can confirm that there is a consistency with this high level of customer service. The lady at reception was wonderful and the ability to check us in early and the ease of access to the car park was icing on the cake. I will definitely be returning again when I am in the area :) P.s. I loved having a smart tv in the room, it is an excellent feature!

We booked our rooms well in advance of travel dates so secured a great rate of AUD $119 per night for a triple room. For this price we were happy with the hotel, hence I am surprised to see from other reviews that travellers paid over $400 for a room. It served its purpose for us - beds and a bathroom. Yes the carpet was stained and yes the shower set up was unusual (no privacy apart from a pull across curtain) but for the price we paid to be walking distance to the concert venue - it was fine. Reception staff were very friendly and helpful.

Horrible would not recommend to stay here we did for concert as was only hotel left, daughter banged her head on bed head ,nearly knocked herself out, told reception girl was very caring, but nothing was done beds was on wheels made bed move when daughter got on bed ,and hit her head, nobody in charge of hotel rang us to see if my daughter ok, hated this hotel never again !!! stay at a budget ibis only good thing was close to anz stadium

Totally ripped off paying $459.00 for one night accommodation in this motel. Was not happy with the cleanliness of the room there was dried milk on the bedside table and the room didn't smell nice. Two of the three beds were not made up, very unacceptable when you pay this price and booked the room for 3 people. The bath mat had brown stains on it which looked very disgusting. There was not enough milk to make a cup of coffee. Very unsatisfied with this accommodation as stated it is a budget motel, so why was the price like a 6 star motel?

Accor you should be ashamed, charging top dollar for an extremely basic hotel. I was very disappointed with overall standard of the accommodation based upon what we where charged as a nightly room rate, out and out exploitation.

We stayed up there on a very hot 40 degrees day. We put the aircon on and when we came back around 1am the room was that hot and stuffy it made me feel sick. We pulled the cover off the air conditioner and there was no filter and it was that packed with dust that no air could get out. We cleaned it the best we could and it started working again. I stay up there regularly and was not impressed at all. The last thing I wanted to do was clean out a air conditioner. I have photos to show how much dust and crap was in there.

I was disappointed that there was no parking available. The bathroom set up was very ordinary- I felt like I was in a campervan. The lighting in the room was such that when I got up to have a shower all the lights in the room came on and woke my son. I had a shower in the dark with the light on in the toilet and I propped the toilet door open with a bag. The bed was comfortable and clean but only one pillow. The bed was comfortable.

Room was as expected, you pay for what you get, it was clean and comfortable Air conditioner did not work and I have stayed at this hotel before with the same problem. Air conditioner maintenance is not being done, filters and coils blocked.

Is it ok when you are locked out of your room for an hour, no money, no car keys, no phones and sitting on the floor in the hall with a 4 Yr old, because the night duty manager was checking people in and only coming up in between... To only receive a begrudging "sorry" for the inconvenience? No it's not. And they weren't happy when we asked for some compensation.

We recently stayed at an ibis budget hotel as a family group before boarding a cruise. It was quiet, very clean and the beds were roomy and comfortable. It is basic accommodation but thought has gone in to meeting travellers' needs well. I felt safe and the staff were kind and courteous. The booking staff were great when I rang with some queries. The only drawback was that a previous guest had obviously spent a fair bit of time smoking in the loo.

The bed rolls away when you are sitting up in bed. Room 331 the shower screen needed adjusting but at least the sink was deep enough for the kettle to be filled. room 325 the only way to fill the jug was in the shower. The bathroom is behind a curtain at the door to the room-weird but fits the price. Some nights the parking is free, others it costs, breakfast is very basic and try to ensure it is free as it is that basic. Room is clean and quiet. Higher is better and the view to Olympic Park much better than the one from 331 over the warehouse.. There was confusion over my prepaid booking but sorted while I waited. Bed was comfortable but the mattress protector slipped off the bed when I was getting up in the morning.

The room was ready when I arrived and while it was small, we only needed it to sleep for the one night. Location was good. There was a jug available for tea and coffee but the flimsy plastic cups which were sullplied by the hotel were ((in my mind) dangerous. Luckily I had a picnic set in the car that I could use. There was a decent shower head and water pressure was great.
