had booked a single bed room but upon arrival was given a split bed which was joined after we came into the room.Had trouble in ordering room service and had call to all the extension before the speaking to the right person. washroom fitting were loose and leaking .
Stayed here for 4 nights in July. Decent hotel, with required facilities. Close to Phoenix market city, if you get bored with hotel food there are lot of options here. Breakfast spread is quite small should be improved. Check in and check out was quick .
Even the Amxex card does not work in the hotel and they proudly say, it is not working for last 2 days .... Shame. Breakfast was standard and nothing great. Not too many options. Just a normal below par
It was good experience. The Chef - Sajid and Staff - Ashutosh, Rohan were very hospitable. The Supervisior - Vidit has been a great help. Thank you for serving us everyday and trying to offer variety of dishes for Dinner. The invisible Staff who clean the rooms and make the beds are very efficient.
-The service was pathetic -We arrived at midnight..but it took nearly 45 minutes to check in -A cup of coffee and a bottle of water too half an hour to arrive -15 minutes satisfaction policy displayed everywhere seems to make no meaning. -No action taken although complained to front desk..I asked for the Hotel Manager..he was not contactable -The rooms smelled of cigarette smoke
Good Germany style Hotel but not really value w.r.t the money. Charging for hair oil, moisturizer, comb, Tooth brush etc is not justified. Bathroom is very small & its exhaust did not work. Water flow of shower was very poor. I could not control the temperature of my room, the ac regulator did not work.
I dont know why O decided to spoil this trip by staying at Ibis. My wife and me have a habit of driving down to Pune for weekend and staying at good hotels. I booked it coa it was looking cheap at 3700. It was too small, too cramped by any standards. The bathroom was depressingly small. My 9 month old kid and both of us could not fit in the bed at night as the bed mattress would slope at the edges. Buffet was horrible, not refilled on time. Moat common answer I got was- sir it has just started and sir it is over. All in all one entire weekend of misery, backpain and hunger. That too after shelling out 7000 for food and stay there. HHI and Royal Orchid Central Pune where I had stayed earlier were better options
I stayed in Ibis Pune just for one night on a business trip. I often choose to stay in Ibis hotels in my trips as it is good value for money. I found that the Pune Ibis even exceeded the standards in staff courteousness and quality/variety of breakfast. It is also convenient to the airport. I would certainly recommend it for short stays and business trips
Stayed for one night on Feb 17th. Reception was not friendly and room was smelly for a non-smoking room, but since we know ibis is a budget hotel, we were prepared for this. Next we ordered food in the room for two soon after we entered, as we were hungry from the drive. One biryani which could have only filled a child and a chicken with greens which only had capsicum and carrots in the name of greens. We felt cheated and ordered a Pizza from Dominoz next door immediately. I wish we had done it earlier. The AC of the room didn't seem to understand that we wanted to reduce the temperature. it stayed at 22 regardless of what we do with it. The only reason i had booked this hotel was due to the proximity to the event venue we had to attend and we completely regretted the decision.
It was a budget luxury hotel...Rooms were a little small but well equipped. The 24x7 restaurant service was like a breathe of fresh air. Even after long hours of work and play, we never had to worry about food requirements. Overall a wonderfully pleasant experience.
I was always a loyal user of Accor brand hotel. Expecting the same service but in Ibis Pune the front desk is not that friendly and attentive when i had to wait for quite some time to be checked in. Despite all that, i pretty much in favor with their in room service and resto service. The waiter and waitress there are very helpful. Also, it is a value for money hotel. Anyway it is an okay hotel for you to unwind after your long day doing business.
The hotel is located close to the airport and is suitable for travellers who are in Pune on Transit and not really visiting Pune. Its far from the main city and also from software park in Pune. But there are taxi, auto available to take you to the main city and it takes about an hour in traffic to go to Pune city centre. Hyatt, Novotel are very next to IBIS and as such there are no good restaurants nearby other than Hyatt and Novotel and if you are a foodie, you need to go to the city for food. I booked the room with breakfast for 2 nights (14th and 15th August) through two separate bookings, but checked out after the first night primarily since the location was not convenient for business in the city and also the food was not upto the mark. I was disappointed that my booking included breakfast, but when i went down for breakfast at 10.40AM there was nothing left except muffins. I had read the hotel manual which said late breakfast was available till 11AM and few items would be available even till 12 noon. The staff at the breakfast were not really helpful. I have stayed in IBIS both in India and also outside India and this was certainly my most unpleasant stay at IBIS.
The hotel reception took too long to check in my friends. Almost 20 mins at 11.45pm in the night. Then they allotted a room with a single double bed while there was a clear instruction to allocate a room with 2 single beds. The smell in the lobby was too strong. The curtain came down as soon as I touched it. It just left a bad impression with my friends who had travelled to see me all the way from another country.
Excellent staff & excellent breakfast- I booked the stay for my mother who travelled & stayed alone. The staff was very cooperative, she loved the breakfast & said that whenever she travels she will stay at ibis only!!
Very good hotel. Lacation wast remote. Lunch & dinner was nice. Breakfast was on top of it! Rooms are small but neat and clean. Bathrooms are small but ok. Staff ws helpful. Parking facility was good.
Break fast and buffet dinner was excellent Room decor and cleanliness excellent Good value for money Smiling and helping staff Spaceous rooms (not congested) Wi-fi available Aesthetically built with broad corridors and large size elevator
The hotel was good, the staff were all very cordial, the cost was reasonable, the food was decent. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend Ibis to friends & family. Thank you.
Breakfast was pathetic, rooms were untidy and very small. For Same price you can get in Hyatt Regency Pune with much far better service, ambience and facilities. Won't stay at this place again. Choice of food, service all very bad
This is my second visit to this hotel. I reached the hotel in the mid night, they asked me to wait for few mins since the room was not ready and got splitted bed .I was bit worry that they way my stay started. but over all stay was good, food is good. got calm room in 3rd floor. ( no need to use your room key on elevator to move to floors.that sticker is for namesake) comparatively better stay than first time. If you don't want bigger bathroom, this is one of the better hotel in Pune with reasonable price,
Stayed for 3 days for my son's piano competition held in koregaon park. Excellent location on Nagar highway, next to Hyatt. Check-in was speedy, but there is no concierge or bellboy. You need to carry your own luggage to your room with a trolley (might be an issue for elders or if you have bulky luggage, which I had). The rooms are small & bathrooms are very compact. But rooms are spanking new, clean and all amenities are in place. Staff is courteous and helpful although less for a hotel this size. The breakfast spread is outstanding - Although the lunch and dinner menus are sparse. Better have dinner at Novotel buffet next door (899++ per head) or at Phoenix Marketcity Mall (which is walking distance)
