Room excellent. Staff helpful. Breakfast an unpleasant experience. The breakfast area (number of tables) insufficient for the number of guests. I arrived at 9.00 am and had to search for a table. One table for four became available (I did not want to be one person occupying a four-seat table but had no choice). Returning to the table with some food, despite leaving on the table my note book and key card, I returned to find it occupied! I insisted on staying because I was there first and even offered to share with them but they left somewhat begrudgingly. I should not have to do that. The area around the food island was constantly clogged with customers who push in and are rude – possibly a “herd” mentality (fully understand the hotel cannot control basic manners) but this less likely to occur if there was greater walk way space between the island and other servery areas. In my view to reduce congestion it needs to be set out over a larger area. Constant stock outs of glasses, some food and waiting line for the only bread toaster. Despite this, full marks to all the staff who all worked hard trying to keep up clearing tables and replenishing food all the while being so friendly. In my view a design issue. Two suggestions. 1 Have an ibis person from another region (so as not to be recognized) eat there incognito as a customer. This would highlight difficulty customers experience. A manager just walking around watching staff does not identify the customer experience. It is NOT a staff issue. 2. On this trip, I stayed at Chateau de Chine Hotel in Kaohsiung Taiwan which was very busy at breakfast. They give customers a triangular card to place on their table. It bears the words “This Table is Occupied”. It is clear to everyone, AND just as important, it overcomes the problem whereby one has food on the table and goes to get some more juice or coffee only to find that on return to the table, staff have cleared away the bacon and eggs etc !! frustrating. When leaving, the customer hands the card to staff who proceed to clear the table and even if that process has not yet occurred other guests know the table is free. Next day… I arrived earlier and the breakfast area was only half full. The joys of catering to demand. Anyway, as requested, I have related my experience.
Good and and quiet spot,almost in fornt of main commercial center in the northern part of center Pattaya. Staff friendly, tasty breakfasts Good swimming pool , family welcome. But wifi is very bad, You have to go to the lobby to catch it.
Rooms were rather small with minimal furniture, but comfortable bed and the bathroom had excellent water pressure but no amenities (i.e. shampoo, etc). Breakfast was OK with western (cold fried eggs!), Thai/Chinese and Indian dishes. Staff were friendly and check-in/out went quickly and smoothly.
The rooms were clean, the bed was nice. The location was good. The rooms are not big yet it has all the necessary things. It's a great value of your money. It would have been great if a counter is created to keep the luggage in the room.
Excellent stay in Ibis Pattaya. Directeur was very kindness and really very close to the client every time. Very very near to see.The breakfast internationale fantastic and I enjoyed the multi cuisine. Burger was excellent in the dinner. I enjoyed the hotel and i return back to the same hotel in April.
On that day that i went to stay at hotel and went to check-in. I found that have a lot of customers that came from India. I understand for a queue but one of reception guy(the lady) was unacceptable in my eye. She serve customers with no smile and her face looked some angry with Indian group. This is one of your service and somebody come to stay at the hotel with would like to have good service and smiling face from hotel staff.
Clean, friendly staff, very good breakfast, accomadingvto my needs as far as type and location. i always go to this hotel when visiting pattaya. Also great location for single guys. Easy and fast to get to bars along second road and beach road. Plus ny favorites soi 6 and soi 13/2. And I great bed, Cjeka. Rooms.
The best thing about this Hotel is the staff and we would like to say a big thanks 🙏 to Cherry. She is very helpful and happy and always remembers us, we always stay here for the limited time we have in Pattaya, and is always nice one of my favourite Hotels in Thailand
The hotel is located in the same road of Holiday Inn and Mercure Pattaya Ocean Resort. We booked family room, double with bunk bed. The room size is compact as usual for IBIS. The room is look as same as showing in hotel website even a big teddy bear is also provided :) But one is not enough when we came with 2 childs :( PS3 is provided and you and rent the game at reception but not a variety of games but it is ok. The restroom are really compact. The bed is fine. The furniture inside show its age and does not have a good maintain. We found one bulb of head light over the bed was braoken and also the shower tube was also broken. We informed and staff came to fix right away, good service. Breakfast is standard but it should improve in term of raw material quality especially the sausage. It was so terrible for us. It is one of valuable hotel in Pattaya with nice location, close to the beach and easy to find the food. Varity of food and shopping center like Central Marina and Big C Supermaket nearby. We not really recommend to buy the fruit from the cart or shop along the road. It is not fresh enough. It might be better to go to buy in Big C.
The two nights stay at IBIS Pattaya is for business purpose. The service is average. The room is clean and always ready to use. The breakfast is average. However, the guests were crowd and smell pretty bad with loud noise. Therefore, the stay and quiet breakfast were not quite pleasant as other hotels.

Chinatown is right behind the hotel so lots of food and fruits to eat. Breakfast is included and very good, Standard room is small but quite comfortable. We got late check out as an accor member. Very nice staff , thanks........................
Clean room, great location for night life,restaurants, Management and staff are great and attentive. They really honor loyalty., this is my go to place whenever I go to Pattaya. In looking forward to coming back, goofy lot in November
Staff are very friendly fast check in and check out. The room is clean also the breakfast is reasonable. I suggest you to stay with this global standard hotel. I will return this hotel for my next trip.
I often stay in this hotel because at home atmosphere and location. Nearby hotel there is Big-C supermarket available and very convenient. Hotel is cozy with friendly staff available. Swimming pool is relaxing to lay down.
My secong stay at IBIS Pattaya and equally as good as the first. IBIS hotels are very consistent at delivering very clean rooms with comfortable beds and adequate facilities. The lobby area is quite large and comfortable and the staff are efficient and friendly. Excellent value for money
While the location of Ibis Pattaya is very good, offering easy access to the Beach Road, Central Marina and the China Town is just opposite from the hotel, after staying in various ibis hotels, this is by far the worst of Ibis in offering wireless internet which has no connection at all in the room. This is only causing frustration and will be better if no such service is provided.
Unfortunate we booked B&B the breakfast was not for the UK taste plenty of Indian food an of course Thai. But very little for the UK taste buds. The twin room we stayed in was very small with very little cupboard space which meant living a loot of our clothes in the suitcase.
So start with interesting experiences.. bugs in room, deposit after full room rent and breakfast payment, and only welcome drink you get is soda for one, So good side is location and excellent security guard who promptly gets you a taxi or tuck tuk. So going back to bugs, I think they come with welcome fruits. I had to ask front desk to help. They came with a spray. It did kill bugs but had odor for whole night. Next day they were back. Ultimately hotel did change my room. Thanks for that.
Stayed with family which includes kids.pros-good location near beach road and marketroom average,very very average breakfast.poor wifi connectivity in the room.after I requested they put a router but still wifi didn't work.swimming pool is fine with a kids pool.got the check-in early even though the regular check-in was at 2 pm which was good.otherwise this is a average hotel for a holiday stay.
