Always in many countries stay at IBIS HOTEL is 100%. All is personal and professional. This hotel is downton Buenos Aires, near many facilities of this beautiful city. Atendents is very interest in our comfort and to enjoy our trip.

* Very good location. Parking place OK. * Bathroom below expectations. Shower door didn't close so it got all messed up after a shower. * Breakfast also below average. * Rooms are "ibis style" but the bed is not.

The ibis Obelisco is well situated in the city centre of Buenos Aires - as the name implies. Staff is helpful. You can get quite cheap tasty snacks at any time. Very strange was the payment process while checking out: I was told to pay room and food including breakfast separately - so far so good. But I was mentioned the two amounts and asked to pay them separately without any invoice in writing being produced. After payment I was given two invoices where only one amount on each was shown - without any details. Although they were in line with my reservation and the receipts I got for my consumption in the restaurant, I should have insisted of getting first the invoice(s) for me to check and pay afterwards.

typical Ibis surroundings - basic, but sufficient - with excellent breakfast and very helpful staff. And good value. Excellent location in the very centre of the city, with good sound insulation ensuring that the hectic street noise stays outside.

Grumpy recepcionists, towels not available in the apartment and when requesting, frontdesk refused to deliver it in the apartment as there was no housekeeping available. The room were not very clean and look very old, disappointed with this Ibis in Buenos Aires. Bad experience!

Would never select at this hotel again The most unfriendly front desk staff I have ever encountered. They were passing us from one person to another. They either are incapable of doing the job or just do not care about resolving issues with reservations. If you are booking a hotel in BA, I would suggest you look somewhere else. We did at the President Hotel, very nice and great location.

Good hotel, located among theaters and stores. Attendants were always helpful. Breakfast was good but it was charged separately although my fairs included it. At least, wasn't expensive at all. Bathroom had a bad smell since we arrived, must be some plumbing problem. In short, it is a good hotel, with some little problems, but the price and the location are worth. I recommend it!

Great location, building in need of maintenance. Good breakfast.available very early 4.30am. Staff - excellent. 24 hours front desk to help you. Theatres at walking distances . Restaurants- plenty to choose from. Good value.

The hotel is in a disgusting situation. In badly need of refurbishment. They also did not respect my reservation and charged to my credit card the whole price of the reservation without deducting the IVA as the law provides for in case of foreigners paying by credit card. I am having a bad time trying to recover my money back - 21% of my entire reservation.

Bathroom smells of dump and sewage. Needs attention. Breakfast. My breakfast was included but i was chased by staff like I was a thieve. Get the right information before disputing charges. Location excellent for my needs

Up to the usual Accor standard. A little disappointed to find that on arrival our booking had been cancelled and the room re-let and no other rooms available. They did arrange a room at a nearby Ibis hotel for us. (additional 2-way taxi fares as we were also booked in to Obelisco 4 days later after a trip to Iguassu Falls) Reasons for cancellation had been due to late arrival and also a stolen credit card in South Africa and had been unable to notify hotel prior to our arrival.

The hotel have an excellent location, near the Obelisco, in downtown. The breakfast was good and assorted and the room was clean and cozy. The value is in average for this class of hotels. In summary, I recommend

We already know what to expect at IBIS. That means no bad surprises. So, the IBIS Obelisco is very well located at one of the main avenues in Buenos Aires. You can go to most of the sightseen by walking. If it's a bit far, there is a subway just at the corner. The staff is very kind and available to help. I had all my inquires resolved. As a "Don't" I'd say the cleanliness of circulating areas which was pretty dirty everyday. Besides, the rooms acoustic is very poor. The Wi-Fi is free but definitely does not work well.

Hotel is almost in city center. 5 min by foot from Obelisco and Teatro Colin and 15 min from Congreso and Plaza de Mayo. Metro station Uruguay is right next to the hotel. Rooms are tipical Ibis category and staff the very helpful. Especially Maximiliano. Supermarket is 3 min from away from the hotel.

My second stay al this IBIS hotel, unfortunately this was not a fine stay as the first was, because of the unfriendly staff, I asked for late checkout and was told it was until 6 pm, then when I've just made the checkout another employee told me it was until 7 pm. The remote control didn't work at all. Before checkin I asked for a room with Av. Corrientes view and they didn't take that into account. DIsappointted with this stay.

Over all the hotel is average at best. The service was good, friendly and helpful. The Room was small. The walls were dirty, rooms need to be painted. Definitely could use updating. The location was good, fairly central and close to the subway. Probably wouldn't stay here again.

Excellent location in Buenos Aires, close to main tourist attractions by walking distance. The staff is wonderfull, it feels like they are very motivated and available to help. Max from the front desk and Nancy from the bar are really great and do a lovely job. The Hotel, in general, is well designed and cosy. I really liked the kind of song played in the lobby, they are my favourite. And also, this is my favourite Hotel in the city :).

We stayed two weekend nights, on 10th floor, making it quiet. Standard Ibis room, good location. We changed to Ricoleta and San Telmo to stay in different neighbourhoods. We didn't have breakfast but you get a coffee, juice, and 3 croissants in a cafe a few shops on the left.

I got a lot of problems there (key/card was not working, had to change 3 times. Airco was not working,...,....). No help from the employees. After no answer to my claims e-mail. I stayed more than 20 times in IBIS in the world and can say it's the worth

The price we paid the first time was cheaper than one week later. ? staff friendly, reasonably safe; the fact that you need your key to go to the rooms is very good, but the service elevator worked without it and could be used too.
