Decent clean room, and great location spoiled by poor customer service.
The receptionist was incredibly slow dealing with other customers, and I had to wait a good twenty minutes for him to deal with 3 customers - which seemed excessive.
Then when he was free, instead of saying "Sorry for the Wait" or speakign ayt all, he went right to the back of the room and starteddoing some additional paperwork that clearly could have been done at a later stage.
I had to ask another member of staff to get him to come back and let me pay him.
He did eventually come to the front and served me but was really slow the whole time, and there was a long queue behind me. I clearly stated "I'd like to pay for my room and get my key". He kept asking me additional questions and asking if I'd like to upgrade, and asking if I'd like to put extra money on a tab, and then explaining what a room tab is (which of course is common knowledge and doesn't require explaining).
I don't mind waiting if there's a reason for it, but the receptionist seemed deliberately slow and poorly managing his tasks. I can't remember having to wait so long in the past, and he was needlessly slow and discourteous. I remember thinking at the time I'd like to make a formal complaint because it really bothered me.
Other than the receptionist, the location was good, the rooms were ok, and the room was perfectly clean. The cleaning staff do an excellent job, and the views from the balcony were amazing.
