We started at Ibis Brighton City Centre over duration of a conference. Location is perfect; close to train station & the best side street area for food and browsing in Brighton. Having walked down to the beach and along the waterfront our choice of location was confirmed. Beach side is much overrated in Brighton. Ibis staff were welcoming, attentive & efficient. The breakfast options were excellent, including the usual run of hot & cold English breakfast food as well as excellent muesli etc. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brighton who wants value for money in a great location.

Myself and my partner were traveling in to stay at this hotel in Brighton, due to flight times we’d get to Brighton at about 9am so the £15 charge for 9am was a wonderful thing for us. We got to the hotel just after 9am, and we ask to check in and I tell the man that we paid for early check in he tells me they were fully booked last night and have no rooms and to come back at 2pm (not even the right check in time for normal check in) I then repeat that I’m not happy about this because I paid to check in early at 9am he then ‘corrected’ and said it was 10am (once again a completely made up check in time) but he continued to check us in and find us a room magically since 2 minutes ago the hotel was fully book and we couldn’t apparently check in till 10. This whole time the staff just seemed uninterested, disconnected, and unhelpful. Certainly won’t be returning to the ibis brand if this is how they are training their staff

Excellent budget hotel, great location for local shopping and restaurants. Second stay when going to Brighton Centre for concerts. Only comment is road noise when in front of hotel, so would ask for rooms away from road.

It was good. Staff were very nice. Room was very good.I like Brighton and will return to your hotel soon. I would recommend your hotel to other people. My Mother and father stayed at your hotel after I told them it was good.

A excellant hotel freindly staff excellant location, very comfortable great breakfast i think they have changed the breakfast for the better, the only one thing will say can you please put soya milk for the cearals please. Will 100% be staying there again

My 8th stay at the Ibis hotel and every time had a very comfortable stay the staff are very helpful and friendly The location is ideal for bus services short walk to the Lanes about 10 mins walk to the sea front.

Stayed here with my daughter in late August. Everything went smoothly on check in and check out. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant for the Lanes and the beach, whilst the price was good compared to others in Brighton. I would definitely come back again.

I stayed at the Ibis Brighton city Centre over the August Bank Hoilday, arriving on the Sunday and leaving on the Monday. The check in was quick 3 minutes if that. The room was on the 4th floor, overlooking the main road. The room was spotless, clean and tidy as was the bathroom. There is a tv on the wall and tea and coffee make facilties. The bathroom is excellent plenty of towels and hot water. I did not have breakfast ,but it smelt and looked good it is a buffet type help yourself. The check out was quick again just drop the key into the box at reception job done all in all a great place to stay in Brighton 5 minute walk from the station. And to top up my stay it was the hottest Bank holiday on record

I recently visited Brighton on a short break with my mother and two boys, for my birthday. From the moment we walked into the reception lobby, the staff was very friendly and even gave us a complementary chocolates to help celebrate my birthday. We were suprised at how close the hotel was to the station, less than a 5 minute walk. The room was a decent size, although we found dirty towels on the toilet seat and quickly informed the reception staff, who apologiesed and quickly brought us clean towels. Additionally, strangely there was no bin bags in the bin. We had two single beds and a sofa bed that looked more comfortable than it looked. The room was a simple decor and we did have a good nights sleep. Oddly, there was no fridge in the room, which meant having to give staff to hold our cold food stuff in the kitchen fridge. Our stay was pleasant and the breakfast was tasty with a wide variety, although the eating area could not accommodate all guests and it was crowded and at times required having to wait for clean tables. The walk to the beach was less than 15 minutes walk and the Churchill shopping Centre and neighbouring shops was handy. Ibis is in a perfect location and close to everything which was a lovely bonus. The only disappointment, happened on our last day when it rained all morning and I asked the hotel staff whether we could check out a couple of hours later, due to our late train time and was lied to that the family room was very busy today, which of course meant we had to sty in the lobby with our bags and did not see any evidence of a busy family room request. The whole situation left a nasty taste in our months, considering I have two small children and elderly mother. Additionally, we felt some tense with the hotel manager, who when I asked him to open the toilet door for my 8 year old son, ignoring me first and without giving me any eye contact, asked me my room number, clearly noticing our bags and I was forced to re-explain my request to check out later due to the rain and late train time. Clearly, he was not impressed that we sat in the lobby with our bags and did not purchase kitchen or bar drinks and food. What happened to excellent customer service? Overall, it was a pleasant visit and it is a small budget hotel. Would I stay here again? Due to the managers attitude towards us during check out, not likely. Its a real shame because everything seemed smooth until this last moment.

A very enjoyable and pleasant stay, The hotel is located very close to the Brighton Train Station. The check in staff were very friendly and courteous. The rooms were very comfortable and very clean Buses are also very close to the hotel.

Problem with smell in bathroom overpowering and disgusting smelt of drains Staff helpful on check in not on check out and getting our bikes from the store Location good and central to train station ok experience

Check in was appalling. Our check in time was 2.00pm, we arrived late after a long train journey at 3.00pm, were told our room was not yet ready, so could we come back in 30 minutes. We returned at 4.00pm, and were told that our room was still not ready. Eventually we got into our room at 4.10pm, just over 2 hours later than advertised. This delay messed up our plans for the rest of the day. We had to pay our accomodation bill up front on arrival, and were not allowed to keep it open for the addition of further purchases of food and drink in the hotel. Needless to say we did not make any additional purchases in the hotel. The bar where it is claimed you can relax with a drink, contains the most uncomfortable plastic chairs I have ever sat on, it has two large screen TVs showing different channels, and a music system playing loud rock music that makes it impossible to hold a conversation. The whole atmosphere is appalling.

This is a good budget hotel- great location -near train station --close to city centre-and short walk to sea -very good staff -good choice for breakfast -easy check in and out -well managed hotel -very good value

Thank you for a very friendly wecelcome and all staff were extremely helpful and great location. This is our favourite place to stay when visiting Brighton. We requested a quiet room and we got one. So a good night sleep was sorted.

Great hotel great location, the bedrooms were very comfortable & cleaned daily & the breakfast was a good seleletion of cerials & cooked. the staff were great they very wellcoming, over all you could wish for better hotel Thankyou IBIS

The check in experience was terrible and took 15 minutes Obviously more staff need to be trained in checking in and not just serving drinks at the bar The bathroom had a bad smell and on Sunday morning the shower fell apart mid shower This is not acceptable for a room of this cost I will not return to this hotel and I will certainly not recommend to friends and family Worst Accor Hotel I've ever stayed in

This is the second time we have stated at this Ibis hotel as the location was ideal for hospital visits & a central location for my wife to stay. On both occasions the staff were so friendly, nothing too much trouble. The cleaning contractor staff kept the common parts & rooms too a high level & always a smile or hello. Thank you Ibis & best wishes to all your staff. Dennis & Davina Messenger

Hotel is in a nice area you walk straight into the Lanes and the towncentre. Hotelroom was clean and breakfast was good. Staff was friendly. Hotel is located just outside train station so easy access.

great hotel, pleasant staff, comfy beds, no hassle, centrally located near all amenities good value bar, would stay again without hesitation. Hotel was fully booked but plenty of staff to deal with everyone very swiftly. Room was available very early as well.

Nice clean hotel in the centre of town very close to the train station, staff very good all willing to help, room & bathroom very clean, breakfast area could be a bit bigger but overall we had a good short break, 50% discount at nearby car park.
