All excellent. Plenty of choice at breakfast. The bacon could have been better.. The location is good for the train station and the lanes.Car parking at station if required. Rooms are large with a shower in the bathroom.

I found ibis Hotels set high standard for accommodation and employ staff that fore fill the service needs to their customers. On my arrival at the hotel I was informed my account was paid for and if I required breakfast it would be extra. I was unsure the time I was leaving and the young lady informed me I could decide the next morning. Due to family commitments I decided not to have breakfast. When I booked out next morning I informed the young man that I did not have breakfast and he checked the account and confirmed there was no outstanding payments. When I returned home later that day after picking up my grandson from Lister Hospital Stevenage I found two EMAILS from ibis:- 27/11/17 Request of authorization FJLCTW 28/11/17 to 29/11/17 28/11/17 Guest Bill # 109772 Ref:176307 - FTJLCCTW - 900565 - NV (28/11/17) The bill showed that I had a breakfast and you automated system took money out of my account. BUT I have my own ideas why it happened BUT I would like your version how it could have happened and what you as company are going to do it does not discredit my recommendations' of ibis Hotels to others?

Clean and comfy but very noisy. Both nights woken up by noise in the corridors on numerous occasions. It was not excessive noise or shouting, just regular conversations and a bit of giggling, but it was as if the door was open. Definitely better soundproofing needed for the room doors. Nice staff, bar ok, but not best wine choices. £3 for a tiny coffee was a bit steep too. I think this was very expensive for what we got.

The sound proofing at the Brighton Ibis must be so good i almost thought I'd gone deaf in my room. Ten floors up, I thought that possibly I could be the only person staying there. The room was immaculate and clean. The plastic capsule bathroom was a strange feature in the corner of the room but the water was hot and pressure good. All you really need in a utility hotel like this. The staff downstairs are all beautiful young people who check you in and out with a mobile app. Access to the room was the easiest I've ever found anywhere and the generous 12noon check out time takes the pressure off travellers. Super easy access to Gatwick from Brighton station too.

This is a great property to stay in Brighton. Very close to train station, bus stop outside to take you to center of town if you don't feel like walking. Beds are confortable shower s good breakfast was good also. Staff friendly and knowledgeable.

Had a nice break in Brighton, the staff were all lovely and the room was spotlessly clean , also had a very nice breakfast which was included in my price, would definitely stay again and recommend to friends and family

We booked a very last minute trip to Brighton just to get away from everything, and stumbled across the Ibis Hotel in Brighton. I payed online and wasn't sure how close to the station it was , but was pleasantly surprised as it was a stones throw away which was great as we could drop our bags off straightaway . Checking in was done on a tablet by a charming young man who greeted us immediately, and within 10 minutes we had hung up our clothes in our cosy compact room and started exploring Brighton . I would definitely stay there again on our next visit, as the price was reasonable and everything was spot on

Hotel located in centre of Brighton, couple of minutes walk from the station. Rooms are clean and quiet. Breakfasts are good. Staff are lovely - helpful and pleasant. I tried a number of places in Brighton in my first month here and this was definitely the best with regards to value for money and comfortable accommodation. And have I mentioned that the staff are helpful and extremely pleasant 😀!

Good value basic level hotel close to train station.Rooms are somewhat spartan and lacking any frills, but are perfectly adequate. Shower only, no bath Short walk to The Laines, beachetc Good breakfast. Attentive and helpful staff, mostly French, but perfect english spoken. Have stayed twice before and will visit again.

Handy location a few minutes from the station. Saturday night stay at £160 for a double room with breakfast was poor value. Sunday, at £66 was good value. Staff on reception friendly & efficient. The room for breakfast was too small to cope. Staff were unable to cope with demand for cutlery and were a little too enthusiastic. I hadn't finished my orange juice and one waiter had his thumb inside my glass! Reasonable selection of food to choose from for breakfast.

Lovely modern clean hotel , in perfect location . Right outside train station at top of high street . Room was lovely with everything you could need . Staff are all young and very friendly . We didn’t eat at the hotel but the breakfast looked lovely and great value for money . The bar wasn’t too expensive either

We started at Ibis Brighton City Centre over duration of a conference. Location is perfect; close to train station & the best side street area for food and browsing in Brighton. Having walked down to the beach and along the waterfront our choice of location was confirmed. Beach side is much overrated in Brighton. Ibis staff were welcoming, attentive & efficient. The breakfast options were excellent, including the usual run of hot & cold English breakfast food as well as excellent muesli etc. Would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brighton who wants value for money in a great location.

Myself and my partner were traveling in to stay at this hotel in Brighton, due to flight times we’d get to Brighton at about 9am so the £15 charge for 9am was a wonderful thing for us. We got to the hotel just after 9am, and we ask to check in and I tell the man that we paid for early check in he tells me they were fully booked last night and have no rooms and to come back at 2pm (not even the right check in time for normal check in) I then repeat that I’m not happy about this because I paid to check in early at 9am he then ‘corrected’ and said it was 10am (once again a completely made up check in time) but he continued to check us in and find us a room magically since 2 minutes ago the hotel was fully book and we couldn’t apparently check in till 10. This whole time the staff just seemed uninterested, disconnected, and unhelpful. Certainly won’t be returning to the ibis brand if this is how they are training their staff

Excellent budget hotel, great location for local shopping and restaurants. Second stay when going to Brighton Centre for concerts. Only comment is road noise when in front of hotel, so would ask for rooms away from road.

It was good. Staff were very nice. Room was very good.I like Brighton and will return to your hotel soon. I would recommend your hotel to other people. My Mother and father stayed at your hotel after I told them it was good.

A excellant hotel freindly staff excellant location, very comfortable great breakfast i think they have changed the breakfast for the better, the only one thing will say can you please put soya milk for the cearals please. Will 100% be staying there again

My 8th stay at the Ibis hotel and every time had a very comfortable stay the staff are very helpful and friendly The location is ideal for bus services short walk to the Lanes about 10 mins walk to the sea front.

Stayed here with my daughter in late August. Everything went smoothly on check in and check out. The hotel was clean and the staff very friendly and helpful. The location is brilliant for the Lanes and the beach, whilst the price was good compared to others in Brighton. I would definitely come back again.

I stayed at the Ibis Brighton city Centre over the August Bank Hoilday, arriving on the Sunday and leaving on the Monday. The check in was quick 3 minutes if that. The room was on the 4th floor, overlooking the main road. The room was spotless, clean and tidy as was the bathroom. There is a tv on the wall and tea and coffee make facilties. The bathroom is excellent plenty of towels and hot water. I did not have breakfast ,but it smelt and looked good it is a buffet type help yourself. The check out was quick again just drop the key into the box at reception job done all in all a great place to stay in Brighton 5 minute walk from the station. And to top up my stay it was the hottest Bank holiday on record

I recently visited Brighton on a short break with my mother and two boys, for my birthday. From the moment we walked into the reception lobby, the staff was very friendly and even gave us a complementary chocolates to help celebrate my birthday. We were suprised at how close the hotel was to the station, less than a 5 minute walk. The room was a decent size, although we found dirty towels on the toilet seat and quickly informed the reception staff, who apologiesed and quickly brought us clean towels. Additionally, strangely there was no bin bags in the bin. We had two single beds and a sofa bed that looked more comfortable than it looked. The room was a simple decor and we did have a good nights sleep. Oddly, there was no fridge in the room, which meant having to give staff to hold our cold food stuff in the kitchen fridge. Our stay was pleasant and the breakfast was tasty with a wide variety, although the eating area could not accommodate all guests and it was crowded and at times required having to wait for clean tables. The walk to the beach was less than 15 minutes walk and the Churchill shopping Centre and neighbouring shops was handy. Ibis is in a perfect location and close to everything which was a lovely bonus. The only disappointment, happened on our last day when it rained all morning and I asked the hotel staff whether we could check out a couple of hours later, due to our late train time and was lied to that the family room was very busy today, which of course meant we had to sty in the lobby with our bags and did not see any evidence of a busy family room request. The whole situation left a nasty taste in our months, considering I have two small children and elderly mother. Additionally, we felt some tense with the hotel manager, who when I asked him to open the toilet door for my 8 year old son, ignoring me first and without giving me any eye contact, asked me my room number, clearly noticing our bags and I was forced to re-explain my request to check out later due to the rain and late train time. Clearly, he was not impressed that we sat in the lobby with our bags and did not purchase kitchen or bar drinks and food. What happened to excellent customer service? Overall, it was a pleasant visit and it is a small budget hotel. Would I stay here again? Due to the managers attitude towards us during check out, not likely. Its a real shame because everything seemed smooth until this last moment.
