Excellent hotel - clean rooms, good breakfast and friendly staff who are more than happy to help and advise. Only 4 stars as the hotels wi-fi was hit and miss but if that is not a priority and you are simply looking for a great value hotel in a good location for cycling then I would give it 5 stars!

Nice hotel, reasonable price, very welcoming personnel! We got offered a fresh drink, when they saw how tired we came back into the hotel. I didn't like cleaning staff knocking and trying to open the doors at 9am, which is before 12.00, when it is time to check out...

If you are not looking for luxury or specific location then this Ibis is just right - very welcoming and relaxed, If I was passing through this area again I would stay again. Located on edge of a lorry park but noise in evening was not an issue - there is a truckers stop bar / restaurant within 200metres but also a Intermarche supermarket where I got myself some eats for the evening - A very nice terrace at the Ibis for eating and drinking the things I had bought. Only toiletries available in the room was 2 bars of soap so come prepared!

Perfectly located just off the main A43 and some 30 miles from the Frejus tunnel. It is surprisingly quiet given its proximity to the highway and the views from the small terrace/garden are lovely. Aside from breakfast there is no dining available on site (apart from snack/pizza machines in the lobby) but until 9pm, there is a mobile snack bar at the gate, and further down the road a bistro (which we have never tried) Our tip is take along a picnic ,,, crusty bread, chesse, meats and wine and enjoy them in the peace of the garden. The rooms as you would expect, are very basic but perfectly fine for a night or two - they are clean and comfortable and the Wi-Fi works well in all areas. The staff is very friendly and helpful (mostly only French speaking) and we will be back next July

Friendly welcome on our late evening arrival and clean comfortable rooms. Busy for breakfast however room for everyone. Nothing much nearby that we could see for eating so make sure you have a meal on the way if you are arriving late. Great location if you are travelling France/Italy or vice versa.

Really good budget hotel. It has a great location just off main road and near Supermarket (Intermarche) Staff really helpful. Top Value as a cycling base for the Col del la madeleine or Croix de fer and beyond. I would thoroughly recommend.

Very clean hotel and in good condition. Well located along the highway and easy to find (convenient for a stop-over). Level of service and confort (basic) in line with the price. Depending on your neighbours, but could be noisy.

This has become one of our regular stopovers on our way back from Greece to the UK via Italy and France. The hotel is excellent value, very clean and in easy access of the main A43 and the Frejus tunnel. Ample, secure parking and with the benefit of cheap fuel at the nearby supermarket. Take a 'picnic' for your evening meal (although there is a restaurant within 10 mins walk we have not tried) and enjoy sitting in the sun in the garden looking at the mountains. The staff here are always friendly and helpful. A perfect stop

Check in machine refused Visa although peage and other hotel was paid with same Visa card. Also other guests had same problem. Nobody reachable in that hotel. Also the lady of the booking office could not do anything to reach somebody at the hotel. A thrid guests creditcard was accepted and we could make a deal with hima nd paid him cash in order to be able to enter the room after one hour.

The hotel is basic but clean and friendly enough. We had to stay there when stranded due to blizzard conditions over Christmas which prevented us from continuing up to Valloire. It would have been handy to have had beer for sale!

All ok, except that there were from time to time problems with the internet connection (no connection via wifi). But good location, friendly, helpful reception. Good price/quality relation. Quiet environment.

We stayed one night at the Ibis Budget and were pleasantly surprised at what we found. The hotel is clean, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was cheap but adequate. Not much to do in the immediate location but a ten minute drive to Saint Jean de Maurienne unearthed numerous bars and restaurants to choose from. Recommended.

I am really happy with these hotels but there seems to be a company policy to not turn on the air conditioning. The fans make a noise but no cooling occurs. This particular hotel was quiet at night so OK to have the window open but I now never use the IBIS hotels in cities as all those I have stayed in this year are always too hot. False meanness (I mean economy) in my opinion - The Wanderer...

Used hotel as an overnight stop before driving up to Valmeinier for skiing with family. All good. However would have been helpful as a British tourist, to have the entry procedures, after 22:00, made clearer, as it took a while to work out what to do to get into the car park which wasn't great after a long drive from Lyon with tired kids. Other than that though, would recommend the hotel for an overnight stop.
