I was there 2 nights, and both nights there were obviously BIG groups in the hotel, but that doesn't mean the rest of us should suffer. The room SMELLED of smoke, there was an ashtray in it too, and then they tell me I'm in a non smoking room, and that the ashtray is there for a garbage can? Are you kidding me with this????? The shower stall leaks, the bathroom smells of mold.
Very good service and warm welcome. Reception organised taxis for us and were very helpful in all ways. Rooms clean and tidy, not very big but has everything you need.Good location and excellent value for money. Will use this hotel again when next in Amman
very Good and worth the value, location is excellent and it’s nearby everything, staff are polite and helpful, but they must have some Tv channels for kids... there isn’t one, we were searching all the channels and did not found one for my kid!!!
For anyone who has stayed in any of the Ibis hotels, this hotel is no different. Perfect location, rooms are quite small but they are clean and tidy. Everyone of the staff we met are very helpful and friendly. Only one request, can you please install clothes hooks in the bathroom, I was having trouble finding a place to hang my towel. Overall I was very happy with my stay. Well done Ibis Amman.
As always I prefer to stay with MERCURE and IBIS. their service is very good, staff is always ready to assist. Breakfast is OK nut can be better. Room are clean and hygienic, WIFI has improved since I went last time. Over the trip was nice..
Close to Al Madina street (3 min walking distance). Famous local & international restaurants, desserts are nearby. Careem & Uber are working fine there. Security is tightened in the hotel, guards are there 24/7. I do recommend Ward & Reem AlBawadi for Hookah & Grilled food, Abu Jubara for traditional Middle eastern dishes (Falafel, Humos, Beans), and Habiba for desserts.
Overall it was a nice stay, hotel is only 10 min drive from down town. Reception staff is very professional and friendly and special thanks to Mahmoud and Ahmed for their help with taxi and tour arrangements. Check in and check out was quick. Breakfast was very good with a wide selection. Rooms are quite small but that's ok if you are not planning to spend your day in the room.
Great location, value for money. Reasonable breakfast options. Friendly staff. Small mall right across the hotel. Washroom need a bit of revamp in the shower area. Safety measures in place. Overall goid experience.
A decent Ibis for a fair price. Conveniently situated next to a shopping mall, a supermarket and and a big, good traditional restaurant (a must visit). There's not much more to do in Amman, so better have a good restaurant beside and some shopping options.
Dear all, my trip was a business trip, Ibis Amman is a business hotel with good rooms with well designed furniture. the hotel is not one of the luxurious hotels, but for business its very enough to fit my needs. it is located near all the restaurants you will wish to try in Amman. food in Amman is very delicious.
good location, but not meeting the Ibis and accor standards, dirty toilet, dirty corridors and dirty restaurant and buffet. Breakfast buffet is not to an international hotel standards, similar to 1 star hotel standards.
Hotel Locations is Perfect , Need lot of improvement on rooms hygiene, standers, room Staff, especially the Towels and bathrooms not that much clean along with rooms overall cleanliness , team on the receptions should be more welcomed to the gusts as well especially .....as one of the team the one "Bald" was not helpful at all and could not explain the right process to get the the good rate if i am getting the reservation process via IBIS website vs. booking.com and it was not expected to had such unlikable argument. and thanks for the rest team even the new female trainee was very helpful along with rest of team
The room is very clean, front desk reception , room services, restaurant and Valet parking staff are very professional and friendly ,they are services oriented. and work as one team. Many thanks to MR. Abdulrahman Radwana, Lama Masarwah. Mohamoud Asad , Mohamoud Rababah and Moahmmed Saad
I travelled on business b/n 16th and 18th of March. I have booked 4 extra meals online via the official website and paid for those 51 JOD in total. Noone from the stuff knew about the possibility to book extra meals online. They were trying to persuade me for 3 days that these extra meals are the breakfast (which was included by default under the rate which I booked). Anyway, I paid for 4 meals extra and I had none in the hotel. An average experience but definitely do not make any booking for meals online.
Breakfast is not ready until 7:15 AM Fruits will only be cut after you ask them to do so; One can only eat bread and butter , staff do not listen or understand proper English Laundry will only be collected after 7:30 AM One has to bring down the clothes for laundry to reception
First, the good stuff: I want to be very clear that the quality of service has been excellent throughout the stay. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The hotel is lifted by the quality of service that it provides. The internet connection is excellent and available in the rooms and the lobby. The inner open sky court is nicely designed and a nice place to relax. Now the less shiny points: While I a aware of the overall expectation and service level that IBIS hotels offer for the money value, I must say that my first night was not a great one. Non smoking rooms were scarce and I was given a room with two beds. The room was stuffy and my allergies immediately kicked in when I stepped into it. The carpetry looked like it has suffered a lot and the rooms have bad lighting. The staff moved me to another room with a double-bed the next day which was a major improvement. The things that were fair: The breakfast selection was ok although not very inspiring. The lunch buffet was varied and offered alternative choices to those who desired. The bar has a nice menu also and a good local beer to sample. The location is close to some good restaurants and sweet shops but not a very nice area to walk about. I think the hotel is a good choice if you are heading there for business on a short stay mainly because of its value for money and good staff.
I was very happy during my stay in Ibis Amman, the staff very friendly and eager to help is any way they can,,the rooms are clean , their is always hot water ..and the location is very convenient ..i do recommend this hotel to all
OK hotel situated in a quiet neighborhood. Decent breakfast. A little bit far from the city centre. Shopping mall in front of the hotel. Good big traditional restaurant beside the hotel. A must visit.
excellent staff ,good location nice rooms but the shower is bad cause when you shower you will be drawn in water cause it is not easy to get rid of used water (you will find your feet to ankle drawn with dirty water) it has to be fixed also towels are not that clean . breakfast is fiasco .
Last time I was in Amman, there was 20cm of snow. This time it's 36 deg. Celsius. And both times I stayed at Ibis, which I find to be reasonable priced for reasonable quality. Nothing is missing, although there is no luxury. The personnel is friendly and efficient. The breakfast is nothing to write home about, but sufficient. The bar is nice, with some good food. On the other side of the street there is a small shopping centre.
