This hotel ticked all the boxes for me. The Ibis Budget brand lived up to expectation and the staff very warm and welcoming. It is well located not far from a tram stop and is right above a good size Carrefour. The hotel offers breakfast and there is a reasonably priced snack bar / coffee shop next door, open during the day. There is also an excellent gym on the block with day entries at 9,99 euro. I would definitely stay there again.

Long Suffering

I’ve stayed here in September for a good number of years now. It has remained consistently good value with very pleasant and helpful staff. The breakfast is also very acceptable. In the past, it has had a/c problems but either these have been sorted or it wasn’t as hot,

Only needed somewhere to get our head down whilst doing a quick stopover in Bordeaux. With 3 adults, always awkward so great that one room could accommodate us all. Bit tight but if you are only going to sleep there, then it is fine. Walkable to City Centre and in great location right next to the increasingly popular Darwin project.

Stayed at IBIS in la Bastide. Very friendly staff. Good rooms. Changed promptly. Quiet area. Close to trams into the city. Lovely boulangerie next door which opens at 6am. Supermarket next door. Rooms basic. I would go back again.

The hotel is so close to city center. The staff is very kind. I found what I was looking for. I'd go back again. Just one thing: there were a smell in the wc, like piss. So I suggest to clean the room fully.

Good hotel.Competitive price. Smart design of rooms and comfortable bed. Responsice staff. Good nreakfast for the price paid. Child friendly! Wireless and wire (in the lobby) Internet. Good location. Breakfast area is very small with lack of places and early finish of serving. Our AC did not worked properly and the staff was unqble to repaire it.

Good and clean hotel Not far from the city center The hotel is near to a cinema and shopping center Some restaurants around as well And the price was ok The receptionist was very helpfully and friendly

very pleased with the hotel, good value for money. safe parking for the car, and easy access to the regular tram service into town, although the centre was only a 15 minute walk away. only bad thing, the cleaning lady removed and did not replace, our soap! many thanks to daren, the irish guy on reception for using his french.

Highly recommend if you want a cheap place to stay , it's clean and comfortable. The staff are multilingual , very helpful and very friendly . I've now stayed in this hotel 3 times and really would not stay anywhere else , it's a 5 min walk to the tram that takes you into the center for all the great shops and sights . There is a lovely Italian restaurant just round the corner lovely food and again very friendly and away from the crowds of the city. There is also plenty of shops and cafés close by and cheap parking directly underneath the hotel. All in if you are looking for a base that's clean and close to the center this is your place .

Ibis Bordeaux C.B. has a good structure. But, I had a problem on 27th/oct, when I was moved to another room without previous information, because all my shower's things (soap, shampoo, etc) disappeared.

As a tourist, the hotel is away from the central part of the city, and requires a 15 minute+ walk over the river, or use of the nearby tram. Food options were limited nearby. Easy to locate, and they have bike storage.

For that price I was very satisfied. Only the breakfast was disappointing. A breakfast in France without cheese ... unbelievable ! Also jambon or eggs ... breakfast can be a little more expensive but with these things.

We have stayed in many hotels which boast a better rating than this Ibis Budget but have not met the standards we found here. The staff were friendly, more than helpful and never once lost the smiles from their faces. Breakfast area was neat tidy and hygienically clean with copious amounts of coffee, tea, juices and the usual continental breakfast food. Although the hotel is situated in a city area it was quiet and close to a supermarket, café and Brassiere together with easy access to the Tram system (approx. 300 metres). we left our car in the garage and used this efficient service for the duration of our stay. A friendly Hotel and a friendly French City not to be missed.

It was ok considering the price and dates. But there is a lot to improve. I booked for 2 nights in different names, 1 night I pay and 1 night the company pays; I had to tell them 3 times that I did not want to change the room. Also, the toilet had an intense smell of urine and bleach that took me hours to remove. But again, the price was fair considering the location and the dates.

Choose this hotel because of it's location to Bordeaux city/restaurant district.... Just a short walk over the bridge and to the right, We could park the car on the street, next to the hotel, free of charge. It was busy because of being Easter Weekend but we managed to find a space. There are a few cafes very close where you can eat breakfast for about 3 to 4 euros. Hotel breakfast has gone up to 5.95 .

Found the Hotel extremely pleasant, clean, friendly and well located for the centre of Bordeaux. Will stay there again should I travel to Bordeaux in the future. Sorry have not got the time to keep doing this, have already done Perigueux, the hotel I stayed at near the airport in Britain and as much as I appreciate your interest in your clients's feedback there is a limit to the time one can spend doing this.

Staff was extremely helpful and friendly - they told us a lot about the city and can speak mulitple languages (which was really helpful because I speak French and my friend speaks Spanish) and room was very clean. Nothing fancy but was perfect for my needs - short visit and was out and about all the time. Right next to a carrefour which was handy and just a short walk to downtown Bordeaux. Area is also well lit at night and close too the 10 and 45 buses (2 minute walk) as well as Tram A (5 minute walk barely)! Would definitely stay here again for a weekend trip!
