For the first time I stayed Ibis Kazan Centre in September 2015. I would like mention that for this time the staff became more professional. I also see that girls and boys at reception are smiling and like glad to meet guests, very pleasant. My room was clean, bed was very comfortable. Roommaids always greet when meet. Breakfast is ordinary, nothing especially. I see that lables were cleaned poorly but I found a clean table. There are many restaurants with cheap and delicious food near hotel, so I don't recommend restaurant in hotel. Hotel is well located, not expensive, with comfortable clean rooms and professional staff. I liked it very much. If I will come to Kazan I will stay here in sure.
The shower cabin was leaking, would be great to repair it. Otherwise it's typical Ibis, very comfortable when you need wifi and good sleep after hard work day. Very close to Kazan city center and Cremlin
I had the reservation made with my credit card, but somebody from the hotel called me right after arrival and say that I should go to another hotel. I spent 15 minutes for check in and check out. Hot water pressure was below reasonable limit. I had uncomfortable problems with the dinner.
Didn't inform about an early check-in fee until last minute. And they only except rubles.Couldn't pay it since I didn't have any left. But they were kind enough to except their mistake let me go without any payment.
IBIS Hotel has a great location for sightseeing, dinner out and nice evenings on the open air. We travelled as a big group (9 people) and were pleased to be there. Easy to make late and acceptable by price check out. Wide choice of meals at the breakfast.
Its a nice hotel for short business stay especially when its very close to Kazan's area of attraction. Services could be improved if the hotel could provide some additional services such as coffee and tea which is not much but a compliment to the guests. The rates is reasonable for its location.
We had a nice few days at the Ibis. It represents good value and is conveniently located within easy walking distance from the city centre and the railway station etc. About 3 mins from Bauman street, the main pedestrian road for shops and restaurants. The room was a good size and adequately equipped, very clean but not luxurious in any way. The view from our window was best avoided (a building site). The restaurant was similarly workmanlike as opposed to sumptuous. No complaints, really quite pleasant - you get what you pay for. The reception staff all spoke English and were generally very helpful.
Nice place, good location, near from Bauman Street, a cozy pedestrian street in Kazan. In Kazan, you can go anywhere by walking, I think. Like always of my staying at Ibis, I enjoy staying. I am one of Ibis fans.
