This is a warm, comfortable and clean hotel with wonderful friendly, helpful staff who are always available to answer questions and help in any way they can. Obviously when in France i always try to speak French but it helps that the staff here can all speak some English. Like all Accor hotels the rooms are comfortable and easily accessible using the lift. There is plenty of parking space and the lounge area with lots of old fashioned games is always available - but there are not many relaxing chairs and the food in the evenings is very limited. I hope that the hotel will rethink their menu and try to provide more food choices that are available every evening. We ate in the hotel once and then went into Albert to eat in some of the many bars and brasseries. We would have stayed to eat in the hotel if the food had been more varied.

This is the 3rd time we have stayed at IBIS ALBERT and we have been fully satisified each time. It lies somewhat on the outskirts of Albert and is very convenient for those wanting to visit the battlefields. Breakfast is outstanding and the rooms are comfortable and warm. Will be back.

Fab location for our battlefield tour excellent staff well maintained and very clean pleasure to stay there not my first visit and certainly hope it's not my last would highly recommend this hotel to my family and friends

A good base to visit the Somme hotel is excellent and would recommend it to others I am disabled and the staff and hotel was perfect. They could not do enough for my needs both before and when I arrived for my 2 night stay.

Nice hotel, great location, good food, fantastic staff!!!!!!!!! what more do you want from this type of hotel. Arrived mid afternoon, a few beers at the bar, nice burger in restaurant few more beers, good banter with the staff, good nights sleep, excellent shower in the morning and a nice breakfast. Happy days!!!

Ideally located to tour the Somme Battlefields and memorials. A basic hotel but comfortable with friendly and welcoming staff. A good continental breakfast is provided and an evening menu, which is a little limited but of good quality.

Great value for money.hotel scrupously clean.bedroom superb, the staff were friendly and helpful.would stay again and recommend.the hotel was in a good location to visit the somme battlefields which was my main purpose for the visit.

This is such a great Ibis. The staff, without exception, are customer oriented. Quick check-in and checkout. The restaurant had good food and precise service. The beds are especially good. The room is the normal Ibis offering. The location is central to the WWI Somme sites.

A relatively new IBIS. The room was clean and airy and well thought out design.Staff are friendly with good English. The bed was very comfortable, it was great that the window was not locked shut. It is well sited for a quiet nights sleep. Will definitely be back.

As good as ever. Staff excellent, very friendly and helpful. Food better than previous years. Do need more staff in the restaurant. Good location for touring the battlefields. Recent bar fit and decoration looked good.

On the outskirts of Albert with links all across the Somme battlefield. Helpful staff, the rooms are clean and pretty spacious. Free parking! Breakfast was adequate. We didnt try dinner but the hitel made a reservation for the Corners Pub in the centre of town. Close to 3 supermarkets, 2 petrol stations and a car wash!

I have stayed at the Ibis Albert on a number of occasions with friends and family to visit the area. It is the perfect location to explore the battlefields and the hotel is clean, modern and comfortable. And the food has been surprisingly good and was one of the selling points. When you are in your car all day it's good to settle down to dinner and a glass of wine without having to get behind a wheel again. The standard menu was surprisingly expansive and the specials were very good indeed - imaginative and almost gourmet in their quality. Unfortunately on this trip the food was a real let-down. The new menu was greatly reduced - mainly burgers, steaks and chicken. The specials were even worse. A number of the dishes were no longer available, and of those left, only one portion - duck - remained - and my brother had to choose something else. The duck was tough and difficult for my mother to cut - we were thoughtlessly not provided with a steak knife. My steak hache was undercooked which resulted in a bad night for me. A number of the desserts too had run out and were reduced to the standard fare of chocolate cake and ice cream. To run out of any food is unacceptable for the Friday of a Bank Holiday weekend - especially when on-line booking means they have a better idea than ever of how many may be eating. We were so disappointed that I - reluctantly - had to take to the wheel again and we ate elsewhere for the remainder of our stay. I have enjoyed my stays at the Ibis very much but the range and quality of the food has been part of the experience. I suspect my family will not come back. I'd very much like to, but you have to get your restaurant in-order.

Stayed for 2 nights while doing a short walking tour of the Somme battlefields near Albert. I also stayed here last year ( 2016 ) while attending the Somme 100 year commemorations. I will also be staying here again in October this year Great location right in middle of British front line positions, a short drive to the main locations of Ovillers la Boisselle, Pozières, Beaumont-Hamel, Thiepval. Great place to stay, friendly staff, very helpful, nice modern rooms with good comfortable beds, good beds, overall a nice Hotel. I booked a month in advance and upon my return they had even refunded 25% of the original costs, over the weekend, the rates had dropped apparently, thought that was a superb gesture !

We have stayed at this hotel many many times . Its an excellent hotel for battlefield tours - situated in the heart of the Somme. The staff are brilliant and very friendly and nothing is ever too much trouble for them. Rooms are standard/basic but modern, and cleaned daily. The restaurant has a wide menu, which seems to change frequently -but meals tend not to be available on Sundays. But the town of Albert is just down the road - and it has plenty of cafes and restaurants. Its not a 5 star establishment but it offers a good quality short term stay.

We were a little disappointed to find the hotel restaurant would be closed on 2 of our nights but the restaurants which the reception staff booked for us were good, thank you. The room was fine, the bed warm and comfortable. Well placed to visit the WW1 museums and locations.

The Ibis in Albert is a very friendly & well run Hotel. Nothing is too much trouble for the Staff. The rooms are clean & well appointed. The breakfast is good , as is the restaurant . The hotel is ideally situated for visits to the Somme Battlefields & close to the museum in Albert. We have stayed here many times & never been disappointed.

The staff at the hotel were all superb, the room clean and pleasant BUT why are there no hot drink facilities in the rooms? It doesn't take much to place a kettle, coffee and cup in the room surely? This would make the hotel even better.

A perfect position to stay for visits to WW1 sites in The Somme. The only issue was the closed in smell from the shower room. The staff were very friendly and apart from the shower room smell, there were no issues.

This is my sixth stay here and, once again, I was not disappointed. It's in a great location if you are visiting the area with the purpose of visiting the Battlefield of the Somme. The staff are very friendly and most speak English very well indeed which is an absolute bonus for someone like me who has a linguistic deficiency! The evening meal which we took here each evening was good and even my picky grandson ate everything placed in front of him. I cannot fault this place. My stay this time coincided - more or less - with Halloween and the staff took it upon themselves to dress up for the occasion, which was fun for them and for guests. Well done to Marine and her team. I look forward to my next visit.
