Basic room, with absolutely no frills, but incredible value. Comfortable bed, clean room, bathroom etc. As I was spending the days at the EISS 5 minutes walk down the road, I don't think I could have done any better!

Paid for Parking - went out - came back - car park full. It is totally unacceptable that they DELIBERATELY over sell spaces . . they know that they are selling too many spaces for the people who are staying . .... only is you complain loudly enough in reception do the offer a refund

Felt like home during my stay. Staff were friendly and the rooms were clean. Breakfast was great. And the location is very near to the industrial area and the city center. I would recommend this hotel to my colleagues.

Good communication and easy booking system. Friendly staff and welcome. Not sure of the point of checking in online as still had to queue to get room key. Room was fine for one night and it was good to have food and drink available in the reception area.

The hotel was clean and comfortable and the staff were very helpful. Location was okay for my needs. I used the self check in as this was more convenient, I use Ibis because I know what to expect and its good value for money.

As it’s next to Sheffield arena, they increase the price when they have a concert/Show. This make the ibis really expensive and not worth the money. Lots of noise throughout the night. Not enough car parking spaces, had to park in the ice rink car park! Not good when we spent £100 for the room!!

First time I stayed in a Ibis Budget. No Kettle no tea or coffee if you want some you have to pay! Service at front desk ok, but no vat receipt just a debt card receipt. At checkout warned manager that his gutters were overflowing with rain and blocked. As his English was oor he didn't understand. Overall, not impressed, expected a little more of normal hotel comforts.

I have stayed here many times and always have had a great experience but not this time. It took the staff 5 times to get a key that got me into my room. Being on the third floor, it was extremely frustrating to have to go up and down to reception to try to get a key that worked. In the end, I had to vent my frustration before I was transferred to a room that I could get into. Bearing in mind that I had driven for nearly 180 miles to get there. This was the last thing that I needed. I made the point that the hotel should have made a gesture for my inconvenience but this was not forthcoming. Poor customer service.

We stayed at the hotel recently as part of a weekend away in sheffield< shopping and going to a gig at city hall We chose the hotel due to its proximity to the tram network the room was dirty and had clearly been smoked in, it smelled of niotine and a stain was evident on the sink and window sill. that night after midnight the corridors ran amok with late night reveller and a large group of young men stood out in the car park until daybreak having a laugh and messing about. not wanting to confront them solo i tried and several occasions to ring reception, eventually after a 25 minute wait reception answered and to be fair did go out and insist the men come into the hotel and hopefully to bed. once more there was noise in the corridor and overall a bad nights sleep was had by us. so much so that we checked out around 7am and headed home to get some rest Not a great end to a much anticipated weekend

I stated one night at the Ibis in Sheffield on a business trip. Staff is very friendly and helpful. The hotel has parking on site which is handy. Room was clean ans secure. However, it is located very close to some big roads and they don't have double glazing on their windows which made the night very noisy.

Basic DVD budget as I expected. What I didn't expect was how uncomfortable the bed was. Spent both nights trying to find a comfortable position to sleep in. Woke up aching. ☹️ Staff were friendly though.

Breakfast a little disappointing, such a small area I couldn't get near the coffee etc. Tea/Coffee facilities in the room would be good. Room clean and had a good sleep. Would stay shall node a business trip, without paying for breakfast

A well kept clean budget hotel in a great location for Sheffield arena. Only let down really is cost of food and drinks are a bit high. Bed on the firm side with only 1 pillow per person. But would definitely recommend this hotel for arena gigs.

This is a budget hotel. the rooms are clean if small, the facilities are limited but as advertised. The staff are friendly and helpful. good for an overnight for the Arena (which is why we were there) but a bit pricey.

The hotel is clean and basic, but ok for what we require. We just stay the 1 night . Easy to find. The staffare always friendly, and the rooms is always clean and tidy. If you want a cup of tea/coffee you can get that from the reception or take your own kettle ect

We stayed here for one night after attending a Kings of Leon concert at Sheffield Arena. It is in an ideal location as the Arena is literally a five minute walk away (saves on taxi fares!) and very close (10 minute walk) to Centertainment, a leisure and entertainment complex which includes a cinema, bars, restaurants, laser quest, bowling and golf etc. The room was very clean and adequate (it is a budget hotel after all so no tea and coffee facilities etc.), and the continental breakfast was great value for money. There were snacks and drinks (including alcoholic drinks) available in the reception area. All in all this was a great overnight stay and we would certainly stay here again.

£100 to stay in the most basic room!!! Ok it's a budget hotel, I get that, but this is taken too far. The rooms are tiny, no tea making facilities and call me picky but Lino floors? Beds were so hard your back will be in trouble next day. Oh and if your ok on the thinnest pillow, and you only get one!! On a plus side the staff were very nice. If you are looking to stay here, check eveywhere first. Only as a last resort should you use this hotel. When you make a complain to the hotel, a standard email is sent back thanking you for your comments. In short....very poor and very expensive for a shoe box. I wouldn't board my dog here.

£99 for the room just because the boxing was on. Room small but did the job to sleep in. Mattress a bit hard but still sleepable. Staff were great even at 5am to kick neighbours out after smashing room

excellent service throughout.had problem with cancelled booking, but resolved it to my satisfaction.use this hotel regularly and always satisfied with hotel and staff.Andrea first class in sorting my slight problem out.(100 out of 100)

I like staying at the Ibis because of the proximity to the office. The wait at reception is too long. I stay there for work only. I mistakenly booked for last Sunday instead of Monday and I tried to change the date at check-in but I was turned down. Considering that I am a regular customer I think I should be refunded that money or it should be transferred to pay for another night's stay
