Always stay here every other time when my boyfriend and I stay in Nottingham, this time for Mothers Day. Always friendly staff, comfy rooms. Only down side need to retune the tv as loads of missing channels. And the quality of the towels has diminished both thinner and less fluffy.

Nice bar area. I enjoyed a beer with my son whom I was visiting and we walked 5 minutes to an Indian restaurant on the Maid Marian way. Great central location. Nice room with a double bed at £71.Parking discount brought the overnight parking down to only £5.

Great city location in lace quarter, council multi storey opposite, you can get parking ticket swooshed in the hotel to get it cheaper, just ask the receptionist. Room was compact but had everything there, could have done with larger towels but next time I'll take my own. Breakfast was included in my rate and was great, even had takeaway cups, there was full English buffet, ham cheese, fruit, cereal, loaves of bread and French stick, croissants, coffe machine with hot chocolate and juice, big thumbs up. Yes it was a budget hotel but well worth it and I had no complaints

Great location for exploring Nottingham's history. Great views from our 5th floor accessible room and an excellent breakfast to set us up for the day. Only downside is the cost for parking. It would be good if there was a discount for Ibis customers.

Great fast booking in service, good nights sleep, but breakfast was awful. Asked on several occasions for food that had run out and it took ages to arrive. The staff were in general helpful but they seemed to be very limited on numbers.

The room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and fit for a one night stay. Could do with a bit of an update to give the room a fresher, cleaner look. The service on arrival however, was far too relaxed and unprofessional. There were no staff at the reception desk, they were sat at the bar on a stool with a laptop. I didn't even know that they were staff until they got up and walked over to greet me. The other guest staying with me, said also when she arrived it was much the same. The staff member finished what she was doing on her phone at the bar, before coming over to meet her. I have stayed at other budget hotels in Nottingham in the recent past and the service received there was much better.

Hotel is ideally located for the Motorpoint Arena. Hotel is friendly, which also includes majority of guests. Hotel is comfortable and clean. Rooms are Ok with decent shower and beds are comfortable. Really all you need for a good night in Nottingham.

Room was large. View was amazing (room 531). Bathroom was clean. It was rather hot in room. Also only 1 teabag, but we're give more when we asked. Staff very friendly. Only downside: drinks very, very expensive.

The room was comfortable and ideal for us. The location was amazing and the car park across the road was secure and at £10 a bargain, don’t forget to get your parking ticket stamped by the hotel for discount. We didn’t find the hotel any noisier than you would expect for a place where peaolple are coming and going during the evening and in the morning. Excellent value for money and we are already planning to revisit in December.

A very good, convenient City centre hotel. Easy walking distance to the theatre, bars, restaurants, and shops. Stayed here many times and will continue to use this hotel and their sister hotels for weekend breaks.

Pleasant hotel. Very close to the city centre ,easy to get to and from. No parking but lace market car park is very close although more expensive than the station car park which is cheaper but further away. Would recommend if you want a value priced accommodation for a few days away.

IBIS hotels used to be very well priced hotels with enough frills to be acceptable. I now find them more and more expensive, and not the affordable places they were. The rates do not reward loyalty any more, and staff are just youngsters in T-Shirts.

We were stay in the room windows facing the tram way. There was a party? or celebartion going on late in the night and early morning. As there was no aircon in the room, we have to open the window but the noise cannot be block out.

Room ok. Good location near the city centre. Poor breakfast. No back bacon, only streaky bacon. Very poor when other hotels in the group do provide what the customers want - bacon with meat and very little fat.

This was an overnight stay in the great City of Nottingham, ready for the Triathlon. As a previous regular to the Ibis i was hoping that all would be as efficient, clean and welcoming as usual. Most was true but perhaps the hotel is getting a little tired. The main bug was the sleeping and failure of the aircon. Whilst normally a luxury when it fails and your 5 floors up without the windows opening its hard to sleep. As with all these things failing at 11pm means whilst the hotel team might be able to help, you cannot be bothered. Whilst the night was hot and restless, it was recovered by a good breakfast and a fond farewell on leaving. All in all it was ok but the room was looking tired and perhaps the facilities need a check over.

This was our second trip to this hotel which is in a great location, clean and helpful reception staff. We booked two rooms - the one to the front was noisy. We were allocated a room with disabled facilities which we didn't need or request so not sure why..

Clean, comfortable room with spotless bathroom. Tea and coffee in rooms. Breakfast was plentiful, good quality with lots of choice. We weer able to have late check out to enable our son taking part in Xrunner to event to shower before heading home.

The hotel is in a very good location for transport to the market square and train station. The welcome was very friendly and professional. I got a very good room on the 5th floor with a lovely view of Nottingham. Beds very comfortable The breakfast is improved since my previous visit with the cooking of the hot food. Check out was straight forward. Overall excellent value for money

I have stayed at this hotel on numerous occasions and have found everything fantastic however on this occasion I was absolutely appalled, firstly when I rang to book I was told there were no twin rooms available and after stating I need two seperate beds I was advised to book a family which had a double and sofa bed, for some reason I was told to do this online! I booked this family room despite the confusion of having to book online, when I arrived we were given our room key and pointed in the right direction, however upon entering the room there was only a double bed, and I could see the bed mounted to the wall was locked. I went down to reception and said we booked a family and was told no we had that room! So I asked to let the bed down and was told this couldn't be done unless there was a child which I found very hard to believe. After complaint about this I was told there may know he a twin room of which I was originally told were fully booked. We finally got our room swapped to next door and upon entering could see it was identical to the previous room but with the locked bed let down. So from my point of view your staff members couldn't be bothered to even let the bed down in the first room and switched room, of which didn't even happen after a lot of complaining and being told beds are only available for children.

A good standard throughout, better than many Ibis in the UK which can sometimes disappoint; this one is definitely more like what you'd expect in France or Germany. Very friendly and efficient staff, clean and tidy throughout. There was (and is often) a small amount of noise from the street, but it's a city centre so this is only to be expected.
