This is a nice hotel, with friendly staff. Hotel is easy to find, has parking on site and is a short walk to the city centre. Rooms are as you'd expect for an Ibis and the bar service and the breakfast was good.

The rooms where great and the hotel was perfect will book again on this hotel The food was good the restaurant was clean Nice people at the entrance at good parking over all i give it 9/10 was very pleased

I was there in Dijon for only 1 night during the weekend to see the city. Hotel is located 2 Km from the station and it is extremely close to the 'Auditorium' Tram stop, so very easy to reach from gare taking T1 line. Hotel itself was good. Lady at the reception was very efficient and spoke English. Check-in took no time since I had booked online. I requested for delaying the checkout for couple of hours and she was very accommodating. Hotel room was also nice. Extremely comfortable for one person and 2 Adults could stay without any problem too.

On way to Lyon stopped off at this Ibis. Just a short stroll to the old city centre with the restaurants & bars. Room was fine, but we were at the rear and there was some building work going on behind other wise ok.

We usually rent apartments or houses, but only had one night in Dijon. Hotels are so much more convenient! This was exactly what I had hoped for, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was adorable. Slightly further away from the town center than I had hoped, might try the one by the train station another time. I picked this one because I knew I was driving in late and tired and thought it might be easier to find, but it wasn't especially easy to find. Still in all, very happy with overall experience. (Note: parking was underground, and I believe you had to pay, not what the website said. I wound up parking on the street, it was free and to a NYC girl it seemed safer.)

It is a great place for a stopover if you are driving through France, otherwise look elsewhere as there are nicer, more guest friendly and more comfortable places to stay at. Quite dated, with very young staff that is not very interested to help or be friendly.

The Hotel staff were very friendly and efficient. The Hotel is situated just 10 mins walk from the centre of Dijon where there is plenty to do and see and some excellent restaurants. Dijon is a perfect place to stay over en route to the South of France from Calais.

Great location on tram line 1. Very quiet. Nice bathroom shower with safe flooring--not slippery. No stairs at hotel entrance--good for suitcases and wheelchairs. Good value for the money. Didn't have breakfast there. Comfy beds. Towels rather thin. Brought my own washcloth and hair conditioner.

All was very good. Perhaps, have a computer available to the guests connected to a printer so printing could be done without bothering staff. Also, allow the computer to be used for other uses apart from the internet (typing a letter, saving it on a SD card or USB stick etc).

The traffic around Dijon made this Ibis a bit awkward to locate, even with TomTom. However, the hotel itself is is very good condition, with secure garage parking in a town car park which is part of the hotel complex. We were not impressed by the welcome in the restaurant which is part of the same complex, being turned away by a surly waitress who said they were full (which they clearly were not). However, the hotel is a short walk away from many restaurants in the centre of Dijon. We would use the hotel again as it is a convenient distance between the Channel ports and the south coast of France.

Hotel in a quiet location on tram route from town centre. Breakfast good. Towels could be better. Internet fine. Dijon is well worth an overnight trip. Beautiful buildings, great museums and good restaurants.

The room is very cosy and confortable, despite of beeing a little bit far from the turistic places. The staff is very polite and the breakfast is very good. The beds are extra confortable and everything is clean.

Our stay here was OK. No more. No less. We were travelling with a 9 month old baby and the cot was squeaky and hard. As for us, the pillows which were apparently engineered for optimal comfort were so soft that it was better to sleep without. However, the rooms are a good size, and the hotel is conveniently located for easy access to major roads in/out of Dijon.

Hotel looks promising from outside but it is disappointing from inside. The hotel smelled of kitchen, our room was tired. If the plug in the sink was left open a strong smell of sewage filled the whole room. It takes a while to air the room once the source is located and kept blocked. Breakfast buffet wasn't refilled very well so you can end up only with coffee, croissant and butter.

The Hotel is in an excellent location - 15 minutes walk into the centre or a 5 minute tram ride from the stop almost outside the hotel. The hotel has no dining facilities for evening meals but that does not matter as Dijon is well served by good restaurants. Beware the parking. It is under the hotel but it costs you 6.50 euros. In addition, breakfast was not included in the price. The staff in the evening of our arrival were somewhat surly although the breakfast and checkout people were fine. Dijon itself is well worth a visit. Much of the centre is pedestrianized and it has fine squares and a great feel to it.

Typical Ibis - and that is not a criticism, it means they are doing what they set out to do. Clean, efficient. Aircon worked well, secure parking reasonably priced for city centre with direct access to and from the hotel . A short walk to the centre, but trams stop outside if you prefer.

In the last 9 months, we've stayed at this excellent hotel on two occasions for 6 nights each time. The staff are very friendly, and the breakfast offers great value and choice. The hotel's conveniently located with a stop for Dijon's first class tram system just outside the hotel at Auditorium, and it's only 3 stops into town: Place de Republique, Goudrans, Darcy. From the hotel, take T1 tram line - direction Dijon Gare - one stop only to Place de Republique - a lovely square - for a couple of good pubs and restuarants and also to connect with T2 tram line. From Place de Republique, it's easy to walk into town in 5-10 minutes by the back streets that bring you out at the Cathedrale de Notre Dame and at the Palace of the Dukes and Statesmen of Burgundy. Alternatively, take either T1 or T2 tram to Goudrans or Darcy if you want to get into the centre of town. Dijon is a fantastic place to visit especially so if the weather is kind when you can get out to Lake Kir with its man-made beach - take bus L12 (direction Plombiere) from Darcy and you're there in 10 minutes. You'll find good pubs and restuarants in and around Les Halles, Place Zola and Rue Berbissey among others.

In general this hotel is fine. At breakfast there were two coach parties of tourists who filled the dining-room and cleared the food counter. I was told that I could take my breakfast to the bar. Unfortunately there was no food on the counter, and the staff were busy clearing tables and working the coffee machine for the guests. I returned an hour later when the food had been re-stocked. By this time there was no milk in the coffee machine. This was the second time I had stayed in the hotel. On the previous occasion the coffee machines didn't work and I was offered extra fruit juice.

This was the second time we have stayed at the Ibis in Dijon. We chose it for an overnight stop due to the location of Dijon being about 5 hrs driving time from Calais and the same from Provence. The hotel itself is clean with ample secure parking and provides a good buffet style breakfast. The center of Dijon is only a short walk where there are a number of restaurants and shops so it's a good place to stay if you want to explore the town. All in all a great place to stay for an overnight stop or a weekend away.

When travelling & I need to stop I will book an Ibis because I know what I will get i.e. no nasty surprises. The big surprise at the Ibis Dijon was the room appeared larger & the bed was very, very comfortable, it was minus 3 outside & the duvet was very attractive. I think perhaps the Hotel has is either new or had a refurbishment as the room & fittings felt new. Breakfast was good with the usual choices, as I said above, we don't enjoy nasty surprises when travelling.
