Recently stayed at the Ibis and was very happy with our choice. The staff were very helpful and polite, printing maps and bus information. Our room was 209, with a huge comfortable bed and separate seating area to relax after returning from sightseeing. The bar was a comfortable area for a drink, we didn't eat there but the food looked good. The local are has lots of bars and food if you fancy a walk.. Transport was really close with bus stops outside and the tube line at West Brompton a short walk away. Yes the hotel could do with a makeover and some furniture needs replacing , but for a 3 star hotel in central London, this was clean and gave a good nights sleep. We will certainly stay here again and recommend to family and friends.
Had 2 nights here upon arriving in London. Good location. Plenty of places to eat nearby. Had a pub there and restaurant. Good breakfast. Rooms were small but nice. We booked the hop on hop off bus from hotel which was a great way to see lots of attractions in London.
central location - just a short walk from the tube into central London. friendly and helpful staff on reception, the reception area was very welcoming. lovely bar area breakfast - good range of hot and cold options, well presented
Had a great stay here. Staff and rooms were better than expected. Down side was the cosy and poor quality of buffet breakfast. Go elsewhere for anything warm and fresh as you won't get it here. Staff comment when approached about it was get a hash brown from at bottom of pile, they might still very warm!!!
The Ibis Iris Court is one of the most famous hotels in London. The hotel's excellent location is close to the famous tourist attractions and museums of London and is also close to the shopping centers. The hotel service is good and clean as well.
Easy to get to, near the tube and bus services. Clean, well run hotel with friendly, helpful staff. Pub food and breakfasts good. Shops and other places to eat nearby if wanted. Good base for visiting the sights, shops and theatres. Safe area to travel back to after theatre. Kew gardens also easy to get to.
Clean hotel and good breakfast. Close to West Brompton and West Kensington Tube station It is a 15 minute walk to Olympia exhibition centre. Mattress uncomfortable, rooms need more electrical sockets so you can charge multiple gadgets. There is No Fridge. The reception smells really nice.
Ibis Earl Court had everything we needed. A restaurant on site that was reasonable, trains close by and shopping just down the road. The only thing that is missing in most hotels is somewhere to do your own Laundry.
I have stayed here a lot, the whole package is always in my point of view, great. The rooms is big, the toilet big. The staff is always in mind to give you as the customer a great stay. Overall this is a good hotel, in a nice area, resturants, tube and shopping facilities is close by.
Return visit for me. I use this hotel due to its proximity to the city centre. Ample car parking even for larger vehicles. Book in was a breeze again, nice clean room on the 11th floor. All floors served by four lifts (elevators). Super breakfasts - evening meals from the in house theme pub. Loads of eating places just outside hotel. Underground station 100 metres. Will use again for sure.
We stayed here for the weekend and couldn't fault it. Friendly staff, very clean, good food. It was also close to the venue we attended which was a plus .Overall I would recommend it for any short breaks.
By London midrange hotel standards a perfectly ok hotel that offers what you need for a couple of nights sleep without any extras. Ideally I would have given it two and half stars. The rooms are clean, though they clearly show their age, the heater/air condition -unit sounds like a bulldozer, though if you turn it off you feel the smell of stale cigarettes, either from the neighbours or from years gone by. This in combination with thin walls makes it a far from optimal choice for light sleepers. The breakfast has a bit more than the average continental breakfast, with both hot and cold options, though there's only one type of cheese, one type of ham etc. and most things are in individual plastic containers, much like a school canteen. The location is decent, not in the centre of things, though within easy reach of two underground stations and with bus 74 right outside the door, which takes you to Oxford street in less than 30 minutes. There are plenty of restaurants and shops in the area. The staff are friendly.
This was one of the cheapest London based hotels that I could find, but the comfort and facilities were very good indeed for a budget hotel and the staff were very helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel.
Great location, close to West Brompton tube station and within 10 minutes walk to Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea FC.Plenty of pubs, restaurants and cafes in the vicinity. Something for everyone. Room was clean and comfortable. Staff are helpful and friendly.Have stayed a few times and will be back again.
We stayed for a weekend. Bus stop outside and rail and tube station almost next door (District Line), so easy access to the hotel. Everything in the hotel was up to the usual high standards one expects from Ibis. Excellent breakfast choice (for the price). Efficient and friendly staff.
I was given a room on the 11th floor - the bathroom had hair on the floor so I informed reception;was offered another room but as it was a good sized room with a good view I asked for the room to be cleaned. The housekeeper turned up a few minutes later and advised me to get another room. I was given a room on the 7th floor and a welcome drink voucher. Unfortunately the room was smaller tatty and nowhere to sit to watch tv or relax so back to reception again. They were very helpful and didn't seem to mind giving me another room similar to the one on the 11th floor. It took a bit of time but eventually I got a room I was happy with. The room was cleaned early the next morning which I like. Food very expensive in George and Dragon.
Clean comfortable with friendly staff. Quite busy but service was prompt. Did not eat in the hotel. Parking expensive but this is London. Very reasonable rate, booked direct. Good option for West London.
Nearest tube is West Brompton on the district line. Small room but big enough for two of us. Clean hotel and pleasant staff. Breakfast was lovely with lots of choice. The tv worked and the bed was comfy.
Great value hotel, for budget stay to see the sights of London, good location for meals out, bars & music in Earls Court. Near to tube station providing quick & easy access to Londons attractions, shows & restraunts.
Easy to get from west Brompton tube station pub inside serves great food and drink kids are welcome so it was a bit noisy has pool table about a $8.00 ride to Craven Cottage football stadium food stores around area and other pubs too
