Checked into this hotel which is adjacent to Ibis Budget. Same reception and facilities. Our room was very small and needed a refurbishment. The bathroom too needed refurbishment and a good clean. The toilet was extremely difficult to flush. We have stayed at Ibis hotels all over Europe but this is the only one where nobody could, or would, speak English. This made it very difficult when we tried to tell the restaurant that our chicken was raw, not cold as they thought. Overall very disappointing.

Great location when driving from UK to Alicante. Clean and comfy room but no English tv. Limited menu and expensive for what you get. However not far into centre of town where there are lots of good places to eat.

Location : Good Then it all goes wrong. Tired and dirty room, with broken furniture. Staff would not move us despite hotel being almost empty. No welcome drink. Complained and was told not possible. We would have moved but the whole point was we needed to be fresh the next morning for a long drive having already done a long drive. In the morning "manager" offered us a free beer as compensation. Umm must have forgotton the very strick French Drink Drive laws ..... Avoid.

Stayed at Sud St Charles for one night on our way to Spain. The location was very good just minutes from motorway. We were very pleased with the parking as it was very secure the gate being locked overnight. The room was very good with a nice shower room, comfortable bed, free wi-fi and nicely decorated. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Would definitely recommend this hotel for an overnight stop.

I cancelled my booking at the adjoining Budget Ibis to enjoy the advantage of in-house restaurant after 600 km journey. What a waste of time and money as the hotel only offered sandwiches or warmed-up pizza! Had to go out again which was the last thing we wanted. Feel cheated by misleading brochure information - please also see my review on Valencia hotel the following night.

Very well situated for the motorway very comfortable and well priced. The staff are always very helpful polite and understanding to your needs after a long drive. Room very comfortable and clean even my dog bobbie had a good night's sleep.

Price is good and very comfortable. Free parking. Receptionist is very kind, but unfortunately doesn't speak english. 24 hour bar. Nutritious breakfast. There are lemon and orange trees in front of hotel - nice!

Slightly difficult to find, on industrial area. Clean rooms/public areas, secure parking. Poor food menu and no restaurants within walking distance other than a McD's !!! Staff friendly, breakfast good.

Perfect hotel if you are just passing through. It's in an industrial area and not a pretty view but its easy to find and has plenty of parking. This is actually 2 hotels which share a reception and restaurant. If you know ibis then this is exactly what you would expect. The rooms are clean and basic and the breakfast was of a fairly good quality. Enough to get you going before a long drive. Staff on reception were friendly and welcoming. If I had to be picky I would say the coffee out of the machine was pretty lousy and there is no lift so you have to haul your cases up the stairs.

Upon arrival we were told the restaurant was closed. We hadn't seen details of this in advance but the receptionist was helpful and directed us to a very nice Italian restaurant in the town centre, advised us where to park etc. and we had a great meal. Breakfast the next morning was a different affair. Despite paying EUR 18.00 for breakfast there was no fresh (cold) milk. The only "milk" product was served hot from the coffee machine! Watching this white substance it was clear that it was water, followed by a white colouring agent, followed by more water. Another couple (French) were also slightly surprised and checked with the duty manager to be told they only serve milk from the machine. Whether this was true or not it ruined the breakfast and what we paid was obviously too much. During the previous two days we had stayed at other IBIS hotels further north where a jug of cold milk was available for cereal and tea drinkers.
