The room had stains on the walls, the area was really quite worrying to walk through at night. Cigarette stains on the floors. Whilst the location was decent in terms of proximity, as two females travelling alone we wouldn't stay again.

I use Ibis budget on a regular basis when I need just a bed. This hotel was exactly as I would expect, clean, functional, and very appropriate for a one night stay whilst cycling through the area. The receptionist was very helpful, allowing us to park our bikes in the basement garage. The hotel is central for all Beziers amenities and lots of local bars and restaurants. The breakfast was very good and plentiful In a nutshell, a great value for money one night stay

The hotel is fine. The area is in my opinion a bit run down. It is also heavily influenced by Turkish immigrants. Lots of kebab type shops and hairdressers. If I was in the area of Languedoc again I would visit Beziers to see the sites but not stay over. I would probably stay in Carcassonne or Narbonne and travel to Beziers by train.

Good location, good facilities, really clean and with very affordable rates. The only downside is the limited opening hours for the reception desk, particularly if you arrive for check-in in the early afternoon and the self check-in machine outside doesn't work. But overall, an excellent place to stay. I will probably book again and will definitely recommend.

I can't speak highly enough of the IBIS Beziers Centre Palais Congres! Very clean, quite, and well situated. Only one thing: during my last stay, I felt intimidated by 2 rough-looking man standing right outside the front door as I arrived after 11pm. I had to ask the receptionist at the Mercure (next door) to use their entrance instead. Be careful as the sliding doors take so long to shut behind you that it could make you an easy target as you could easily get pushed into the hotel whilst someone is holding a knife against you.

It's all in the title, After waking up, I saw a small cockroach on my pillow ! My wife was horrified We thought we were just unlucky with the first room, so we asked for a second one for our second night. Same thing with the second room !

Perfect located in the centre Beziers. Clean, quiet, garage underneath. A very good hotel to change a necessary stop on your way tot Spain into a pleasant one. One downside. Why do all the three people bedrooms at the ibis budget only have two towels?!

good location, close to down town, price is 45 euro /per night for 2 person One missing point: after checking out, you can not leave your lockage in the hotel such that we have to carry it for whole day.

Our experience may have been unique but we arrived to a huge street fight outside the hotel with men trashing people's cars. The receptionist locked the door and wouldn't let me inside away from the fight, so I had to stand outside the glass doors to the hotel next to the fight until it had finished. She was very blunt and not very friendly. We were then told as second class citizens (Ibis not Mercure customers) we needed to go around the back reception desk where we stood for a good 10-15 minutes before we were seen to. The day after we had an odd knock on the door from a man in a suit we hadnt seen all holiday asking if our room was ok and looking around, I never saw him again working at the hotel as there were only 2 reception staff, a man and women who we recognised. They had no hairdryer, no iron and were very unwilling to help. The customer service was bad and we did speak french. The area is quite odd, lots of men hanging around on street corners smoking and drinking. Id say only visit Beziers in the daytime and don't stay at the Ibis.

Well situated near the centre, the reservation was fine but there was no heating in the room and it was cold that day; I went down and mentioned it and was told by the young lady that sorry the heating is off in the hotel. End of. I complained and asked to see the manager and was kept waiting 15mins [altho' I did notice a couple of times someone peeking through from the bar, almost to see if i was still bothering to wait] finally the same girl, patently not the manager came back and said that 'it was warm in Beziers yesterday so it is not on'. ! I said 'yesterday is irrelevant and that is not the point anyway' and was finally told she'd get us a portable heater. Another 10min wait then was told they hadn't one but they'd put the heating on 'soon'. I said send the manager up 'Now' to our room and nearly an hour later the same girl came up and said almost dismissively 'the heating is on now' - another 30mins and the air con started pumping out warm air. Thank you. But [whether these two events are related I don't know] then the most awful and very powerful stink of sewage came either from the air con or seemingly more likely via the bathroom - my wife was nearly gagging by now and was ready to leave. I went down, again, explained and asked for them either to come and smell it or immediately give us another room. They wouldn't come to the room so finally gave us a room on a lowewr floor. While moving there was another unfortunate guest with a handkerchief over her mouth & nose in the lift. The new room was ok, better in fact but I travel a lot and with IBIS too, and have never had a worse experience.

Stopped here en route to Spain after a great night at another ibis budget in Orleans. This hotel had no car park on site, although the one next door which was a Mercure claimed to also accommodate ibis guests cars. When queried the receptionist said this occasional happened but they were full. I had to park some distance away in an underground car park that cost me £12 and made this budget stopover anything but. Room was advertised as having wifi but this didn't work unless you went downstairs to reception. All in all, pretty poor and disappointing.
