Very clean hotel. Helpful and warm staff. Location is alright. It is a 2 minute walk from the bus stop from where a bus takes you to the nearest subway which is 30-40 minute drive. For a couple, Ibis can do more by providing an elevated table/platform for 2-3 suitcases. For those like us travelling from a different continent, there is hardly any room for keeping the suitcases. In all other aspects, the hotel is quite good.
This hotel Was way too far from the center of the city. You have to reserve to take a shuttle and pay per person each way. While the rate is cheaper than taking an Uber...the times into the city are limited. The first day we arrived at about 11:30 am- and missed the 10:30 am- only morning shuttle into the city. We were subjected to taking a $40 Uber into the city to not lose the day We were subjected to taking a $40 Uber into the city to not lose out on an entire day. The hotel advertises a kitchen available from 7:30 pm-10:30pm, yet my husband and I were turned away because the hotel had rented the facility to a group host and an event. We asked for takeout and they would not accommodate.
Basic needs met. Clean and comfortable. Conveniently located near the airport. If you are looking for a no frills hotel that's affordable and clean, this is it. Front desk staff was very helpful and friendly.
Hotel was great for a one night stop and early departure for the airport. Only down side was most of the menu and the wine list was not available in the restuarant. Meal we did get was awful. Staff ordered us a taxi in the morning which arrived really promptly.
We arrived at midnight with a very tired nine year old. The receptionist , Andi?, could not have been kinder or more understanding. A perfect introduction to Italy for a little boy. The following morning we received detailed advice and help to use public transport into Rome. Thank you.
The bread is not good at the breakfast and no French croissant available which is sad for a French hotel. However the restaurant for dinner at night is very good for low price. About the location, it's horrible, you always need to use the shuttle bus and this service isn't flexible on the schedule and the drop off. About the rooms, they would need make some renovation as they are a bit old, most is ibis in France are with modern bedrooms. The staff is very good and ready to help. We liked them so much.
This is a very good hotel with friendly staff and a good breakfast. The room was a basic ibis room, and very clean. If you not go by car, don t follow Rome2Rio advice to walk from nearest railway station, instead take bus 128. It s to much road traffic, so it quite dangerous. Find yourself a timetable for the bus and change at first railstation, and you will be in middle of Rome in 30-40 minutes.
Comfortable hotel in a good location - close to Fiumincino Airport plus has a great little supermarket & other eateries nearby. Has cheap shuttle bus to airport too. Clean & with friendly staff (who speak good English). Restaurant is decent too.
I am not happy with the internet since I could not use it in the room it did not work at all, There is not enough light in the room Otherwise the front desk is very helpful and the location is not far from the airport.
Excellent rooms and facilities. Ideal for transit between Rome Fiumicino and the City. Area less attractive, but that not important as a transit hotel. Excellent shuttle service to City or Airport. Staff very good.
My stay in Ibis Roma Fiera is very nice experience to find out where is the location, honestly it was difficult for me, but i have one guardian angel man who help me to find the way to the hotel and it was successful. i would like to thank him, the place was very nice it was accessible to the airport. thank you for the staff also for helping me to find the way going to airport.
Wonderful customer service, nice clean room and very comfy bed. Breakfast offers a good choice of options. Food from bar/restaurant is delicious. We ate both downstairs and ordered options to the room. Hotel is a bit secluded and quite far from Rome but there is a local supermarket, takeaway and a few restaurants open most days and also a bus stop two minutes away which is a couple of stops from the nearest train station. Downsides are that the room TV screen was poor resolution, the shower head leaked so some of the water hit really hard and the Wi-fi makes you login every few hours to access. There are computers which are free to use downstairs however.
I often stay in this area when I have to attend an event at The Roma Fiera or I have to reach the airport, free parking and a couple of Restaurants Pizzerias in the area at walking distance make me feel at home. Breakfast would be better maybe with the addiction of some fresh fruits, not canned as those offred in the morning. for the rest is one of my most frequent choices when in Rome
Hotel and restaurant experience was good but, on returning home I found my credit card had been debited in Pounds Sterling rather than the Euro payment I asked for at the desk. This ,of course, incurred Mastercard's 3% mark-up. Room and bathroom were excellent, area looked dubious but was only staying one night as convenient for the airport.
the sight is off the airport a good distance, but you can get there in 30 min. we liked the room, and the staff was very good. the hotel resteraunt was good value for the money, and we liked the breakfast buffet... their are also several locally owned places to eat within walking distance... covering all kinds of food, their is also a market in this complex
The first room we were offered had black mould all over the shower, the second had been occupied by a heavy smoker and stank, should have been checked and aired, the third was OK but the extractor fan in the shower room didn't work. All house keeping faults that should not have been there! The bed was superb and the breakfast was good. The location is not ideal for visiting Rome, a bus trip and then the train which are cheap, 1.50 Euros for the whole trip but the train back at night was a bit "leery" and why do the Itralians put up with so much mindless graffiti? Even the windows of the train were covered! Having said that, Rome is Rome and so is wonderful. Overall a bit disappointing for a 3 star hotel.
pleasant multilingual staff, clean, fresh rooms, provided hot pasta at 11 pm followed by a freshly brewed coffee. One suggestion, the hotel should get the local authorities to make a bus stop near the hotel !
Once l learned how to get the bus to the metro everything was great. As a solo traveller this is very important. The bus stop was at the end of the road,so very close. The staff were very helpful especially Alejandro. thankyou.
We spent one night in this hotel because we have arrived at Fiumicino Airport late on the night and there was not public transportation anymore. As the hotel is half way to Rome center, we decided to save some money on transport and accommodation in our first night in Rome. In the other nights, we stayed in another hotel, near the city downtown. The location is not touristy. Is worth staying there only in situations like that or if you have business to do nearby.
Good hotel, location very good, close to the port. Excelente breakfast in a very beautiful place. Service ok with a friendly team. Parking area is close but very limited in quantity of vehicles. Good cost/benefit
