Lazy staff, rude and not helpfu. Ask for a bus Direction and told there wasn't, but it actually was, just because they told us later they take commission of every taxi they give to the guest. Room smelled like pee,was very dirty, sheets not changed. Staff didn't know how to speak english.we had to walk from the airport to the hotel 45 minutes by foot at night just because they didn't want to give us direction when we called. You have to ring at the parking gate to enter the hotel. If you want food you have to go the snack machine and Pay ridicoulous amount for a chips and soda.

perfect location to get in time to the airport in the morning without stress. reception 24/24, 8' taxi drive to airport. Rooms = basic but ok for 1 night. Breakfast offers enough choice. You can leave your car there or go by train and take a taxi to the hotel (20' drive).

Clean, affordable, basic, but everything you need for a short night before an early flight. Near the airport, with possibility to leave your car in the parking, and an organised shuttle service. Polite, helpful and friendly staff.

We stayed 1 nights at IBIS BUDGET Hotel at Charleroi - Great check in staff lovely to deal with and some of the few I have found who speak English - Room small but VERY clean - Bed very comfortable. Swift easy check out with shuttle ready and waiting when we got downstairs. Optional continental breakfast - we did not take advantage but it was a good opportunity.

The hotel is clean and an ideal place for an over night stay. Friendly staff. Vending machine for drinks, ideal light breakfast. The budget brand says it all rooms are very basic. Phone the hotel before arrival to arrange a taxi to collect from the airport €8 per taxi

Staff are very friendly. Handy for the Airport. Rooms are clean but stink of cigarette smoke, which penetrates curtains and soft furnishings. Thanks to air freshener it becomes a nauseous mix of both. The TV remote had had many users and was difficult to switch on and off.

Budget hotel in the right place and right price. Good breakfast for the money. Mind the roads access unless you come from Fleruis they are rough. Have not found any good restaurants in the locality and have been travelling here for several years.

No frills, basic accommodation at a good price. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Only 5 mins to the airport - very convenient. Taxi was 8 euros from the hotel to the airport and 10 euros from the airport to the hotel. Plenty of parking space for leaving your car - although it was in November.

The room and bath were very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Disappointed with the bed, is just a mattress on a wooden plank and the sheets are old, the blanket cover was ripped off on sides.

CONS: More expensive than the other ibis budgets. In an area with no service around, you have to pick the car for a pub or restaurant, extra overhead bed missing, not shower mat. PROS: The very close airport is not too noisy. Close to the motorway

Our flight was early in the morning so we decided to spent one night at the ibis hotel. By foot, it is a 30 minute walk from the airport. The rooms are ok but there is a lot of noise at the main floor. We recommand a room on a different floor so you can't hear the travellers checking in the hotel.

Good rate of price to quality. Very good location of hotel near to airport. Unfortunately no restaurant inside hotel, but very close there is a petrol station where something to eat and drink one can buy.

One of the Easiest Ibis Budget Hotels to find as previous ones have proved difficult occasionally if not familar with a particular area. Staff Helpful room exactly what you would expect and Breakfast was good value. Plus with the food vending machine it does not matter what time you arrive in an evening you will alsways be able to have something to eat.

Nice with a budget hotel close to the airport, taxis will take you there for 8 Euro. This is a downscaled Ibis Budget, and has simpler rooms than other of this chain (only one power outlet per room, only a light tube as your bedlight, no full-body mirror (only one above the sink), no coat hangers, etc. I was unfortunate that a thunderstorm had closed down all TV channels, plus my room had defective sink kork and soap dispenser. All reported in reception so hopefully corrected by now. No noise from the flights (I arrived at 10 pm so perhaps there were no flights), but quite a bit from trafic in the corridor.

A suitable hotel for a stopover before an early flight from Charleroi airport. Convinient if you have rented a car as there are enough parking lots available at hotel's yard. There is also a taxi service to and from the airport available at frontdesk.

lodging OK, in line with Ibis. Getting to the airport was OK, but getting back to the hotel from the airport took far too long. I had to wait 30mn, and another guy was waiting for ! hour, before the cab driver showed. Unacceptable !

everything was ok - except that we had to wait for more than 45 minutes to be picked up again from the airport - main reason was that we had 2 luggages and 1 golf bag = needed to be able to put in the car/van - which the first driver didn't want to do and let us standing there (just needed to flatten 1 back seat of a skoda which seem impossible)

A standard ibis budget hotel, as always clean and a very acceptable room. No restaurant within walking distance. My friend had an early flight: the friendly receptionist advised us that you are not supposed to walk to the airport; she said some people do it but if the police see you expect to be fined! She could arrange a taxi. We took an evening walk to check. There is a no pedestrians sign on the approach road but we walked on the adjacent freshly cut grassy area. Police were on the road and ignored us - they were more interested in a couple who were camping there!. Next morning my friend walked to the airport in ten minutes and I slept! I could have driven him there and paid the minimum €1 parking charge but was glad to beat the efforts of the airport to make extra money for the local consortium by creating vehicle only access.

Normal Ibis Budget standard, and that's what we go for. OK transit hotel for sleeping and breakfast. No major noise issues from nearby airport. First experience with hot meal from vending machine - not too bad.

If you need a budget hotel to spend a night, it is your best choice. Don't plan to stay longer. Very clean and close to Charleroi Airport , 10' walk. Taxi to airport costs 7,5-10€, don't give more money, just negotiate the tariff!
