Staff excellent. Room & bathroom excellent. Breakfast bar very good. I had a problem finding this hotel as the co-ordinates on your website are wrong. Eventually the wonderful Spanish police showed me the way. The correct co-ordinates are as follows - N 41.124944, E 2.16365 - please amend your website. Also the town is Viladecans not Barcelona

Very basic, as expectedly. The young man on duty on the evening we arrived was very knowledgeable and very helpful, if I was reviewing him it would be 5 star. The young lady on duty in the morning was quite the opposite - "no you cannot have that coffee it is only for people buying breakfast - no you cannot have that coffee at any price - you can only have that expensive crap out of the machine". 10 minute from the airport? Only as the crow flies.

the receptionist man called for a taxi. He said it will come to the door but time passes and there was no car. Then I went outside and saw a taxi nearby. The driver said my room number and he said he was waiting for me. So the driver took 15 euros more because he waited outside! When I returned hotel at night I told this to the receptionist and his boss but they both didnot accept this. So how does the driver know my room number ? how does he know where ı will go? I think receptionist lies and he isnot interested in what is happening. He isnot professional. He doesnot even accept that he called for the taxi! He said it is the 1st time it happens so this is another lie!

This is a perfect stay for links to the airport. It is clean and modern, good for an overnight stay. The two Ibis hotels are situated together, so there is access to the bar/cafe and the small car park . Outside the hotel, there are other shops and restaurants - near to a great shopping centre and designer outlet, and the drive into Barcelona airport was quick and easy.

Perfect for my stopover after a long haul flight OAK-BCN. Taxi from airport was around 25 Euros. Staff was TERRIFIC. Rooms simple and clean in both design and function (I'm no fan of the mountains of useless pillows in higher-end hotels). I'm staying here again.

Ibis made me feel same as home and the breakfast was amazing. Excellent staff too. The rooms were clean and tidy. But there were no toothpaste so its better to have toothpaste in the future. Other than that it was great.

Thanks to a one night spent to the hotel. It is enough for an less than average hotel. Access to the public transportation is brilliant bus station is front the hotel entrance. Seems near the airport but you need to take two buses during your trip to the airport. Reception is friendly but one receptionist.

Excellent value for money. The room was simple, small and had basic needs. The hotel is well connected to public transport, and the bus stops right outside the hotel during the day time. There is a night bus as well, which is a 10 min walk away. The reception staff was very friendly and helpful.

It was difficult to reach from airport, but once we reached we were made comfortable. There is good public transport system just in front of hotel and a supermarket adjacent, also McDonald's. if they provide shuttle service may be at small charge, it will be good for their business.

Polite staff, very good breakfast service. Rooms are clean, and quite to have a good sleep. The location is just near to McDonald's and a supermarket. Also just one bus-line (approx. 30 min.) far to the city center.

the room looked exactly like a cheap hospital room. depressing. scary and unwelcome. Nasty receptionist who checked us on april 18 at 7 PM. I wish I remember his name. The parking is not free. cheap breakfast, very plain and basic. not worth the money. Really cheap budget hotel. hard beds, cheap old towels, little soap.

I stayed here because of its proximity with the airport so, in that regards, it's quite convenient and don't hesitate to take what taxis call "the road through the beach" as it's way less busy and will take you faster to the airport. Also, I loved that this hotel doesn't have keys to access your room but a code, neither does it use like shampoo bottles but refill ones hanged on the walls. Little details but significant!

The room was dirty and there was black mole in the shower. One window was open up in the corner so we could here everything outside, traffic, people etc. There was also a t-shirt that was gone from our room and the hotell manager said he will pay for a new one, when we find one! The breakfast was, according to the add and a sign in the lobby: Tasty-all you can eat!!!. Well, if you have diabetes you shouln´t eat there. They were only serving marmalade to put on the bread and of course butter, only for 4,50 euro!!!Hmm. So we are a little bit disappointed.

I paid €42.75per night fora room saod €35 on the door card not only that on my booking confirmation said it comes with separate shower and toilet but in reality it was all together in tiny little space. No telephone or wardrobes or any kettle in the room!

I chose this hotel based on 1) its proximity to the airport and 2) affordability. The gentleman on the desk, Jose, was very friendly on check in. When we entered our room (on the ground floor), we immediately noticed a strong smell of cigarettes. We returned to reception and Jose kindly moved us to another room (110, 1st floor). We did notice that evening, that the toilet was very slow to flush. It would take multiple attempts to flush just toilet paper. So the rule was, only pees no poops! When I showered that night, I notice within 2 minutes, that the shower base had filled completely with water and was on the verge of running out and onto the bathroom floor. It was a shame as the pressure and temperature were excellent, one of the best hotel showers I've had. It took approximately 10 minutes to drain after I had finished. I didn't report it at the time as I had changed into my pyjamas. These piping problems could explain the unpleasant smell on the floor. When I had first noticed it, I thought it was a baby's nappy. The smell did not go during our stay. On check out the following morning, I mentioned all the above to the morning Receptionist. He said, had I been unhappy with it, I should have reported it at the time. I explained that it had been late at night and I was getting ready for bed. I suggested they look into it as there is an obvious problem with drainage in that room. I also told him that I was disappointed by their website's "contact us" option. I had emailed to find out how much the secured parking would cost. It says on the website there is a fee but doesn't give the price. I received an automated response saying I would get an answer to my query within 48 hours. That was 4 days prior to my booking and I hadn't heard back. I STILL haven't heard back. The Receptionist waived the fee and gave me a code for the barrier. The price of parking by the way is €5. I have stayed in many Ibis Budget hotels and similar chains. The standard was slightly below average. To be honest, if I needed to stay close to the airport again, I would probably choose this hotel. Though I would request a non-smoking room and be a lot quicker to resolve any (tissue) issues.

We stayed twice in a seven day period at Ibis Budget, Viladecans. First time for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. Room basic but clean and in good condition. Our second visit a week later for only 1 night ...a room with every plug socket broken, blinds out of there tracks, a very badly cleaned shower, and our room door was very loose and rattled. Couldn't believe the difference! And we paid €10 a night more for this room than the previous visit! I've stayed in many Accor properties, of all budget types. Generally , excellent. Don't expect much from this place...and it won't let you down!!!

The ibis budget at Barcelona villedecans is in an excellent location and is very comfortable to stay in for a budget price. The hotel ibis next door is great for eating - we had the choice of the month. Also the penedes local wine is excellent

Our two night stay was only marred by the fact the heating seemed to be full on in our room all day and night - opening the window meant a lot of noise from the traffic so we were stuck between a rock and a hard place! Apart from that we enjoyed everything about this hotel. The room was spotless, bright and comfortable. All staff members were thoroughly efficient, friendly and welcoming and our request for extra pillows was met with a smile. Breakfast at 4.50 is one of the lowest prices I have seen and it was well worth it. The coffee was actually drinkable!! Better than drinkable in fact. Cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurts, hot, fresh croissants, pains au chocolat and bread rolls, sliced bread for toasting, along with olive oil, pulped tomatoes and garlic cloves in case you fancied a bruschetta. Drinks consisted of a pot of freshly brewed coffee alongside one of hot milk, tea, coffee and chocolate sachets and a choice of fruit juices. The breakfast room was relaxing and there are powerpoints available to surf the net or charge your phone. There is a mainline bus stop right outside the door and L86 will take you right to central Barcelona. Also next door you have an Aldi supermarket and a Macdonalds. A very relaxing break and one we hope to repeat in the coming year.

I stayed for one night only because I had an early flight next day. Very confortable, close enough to the airport, clean, good service. Some options nearby for food as well as good options at the hotel.
