Perfect location! Friendly staff! Good value for money! Lovely market round the corner, lots of restaurants and pubs around. Best pub I have been to was only yards away, on your right as you leave the hotel, called "Au Gand' Brinus" Very friendly family pub!

Quick overnight in Lille on my way to Brussels; easy back and forth walk to hotel from Lille Europe high speed train station; adequate breakfast; nice neighbor to explore; basic room; basic bathroom; no English speaking channels TV.

No ac, pretty basic breakfast, super small rooms, they are not as good as in Germany (for example), super small shower. The location was good. The staff was friendly but didn't speak enough English...

I regularly stay in Accor hotels, mostly in Lille, France. IBIS budget, IBIS Style and Mercure. Unfortunately the price of the Mercure in Marcq en Baroeul has become disproportionate. IBIS budget cetre is very convenient for me, however, very regretful, does not qualify for Accor reward points.

Stayed overnight returning from Trip to Strasbourg Hotel is easy to access by car from autoroutes and has secure underground car park for a reasonable 6 euros. Hotel is looking tired and needs refurbishment and is thus poorer value for money compared to other Ibis Bugets we have stayed in. That said the rooms were clean, bed comfortable and staff welcoming.

The room is spacious, but I missed wardrobes to put some clothes in. Breakfast is basic but sufficient. Staff was friendly and helpful. Location is good for me: central enough without being too busy. I also missed som leaflets in the lobby about the city.

Great location, room was clean, staff was helpful, recommended for a short stay in Lille. The only downside is that the street was a bit loud at night, probably also because we stayed in the 2nd floor.

Excellent place, utilitarian, not fancy, but great staff, clean room, quiet, perfect to crash for the night and spend the day out. Parking is a great bonus given the location. Breakfast is very decent, staff extremely nice and helpful. I will likely come back to Ibis hotels given the great value for money.

Actual rooms don't match the pictures in the website. Too small and congested room. The room was made available only at 1 PM although the website says 12 noon as check in time. The lady at the reception could be more friendlier.

Staff very helpful. Location very good for old town and centre of town - shopping and eating out very handy. Underground parking very good value and secure. Wifi was a little difficult to access, but once done it was good.

Good value hotel. Average cleanliness. Worth paying for the breakfast. We had a 3 person room, but the bunk bed had not been made up. The road the hotel is on is very noisy at night which affected our sleep. The hotel is located on the edge of the red light district which was a little disconcerting as prostitutes were immediately outside the hotel.

It's a budget hotel? Parking to the left of reception down a very Steep curved driveway going underground to secure parking, entry by either a code (that is the same as your room code) or pressing for the surly receptionist to acknowledge you. You can check in online the day before your stay or on the actual day - you will receive your room code (for the keyless entry to your room) when you check in - this information is not provided to you until you check in though. When leaving car park your car will need a good bit of power to get you back up that slope, please be mindful as you surge to the top to stop straight away as the traffic is flowing on your immediate left and you can't see it because the side of building blocks your view. the parking was an unexpected 6€ a night. The room was adequate, the ibis sweet bed very comfy. Only 2 medium size towels in the bathroom - ladies take a towelling hair wrap with you (guys too if you have a luxurious mane) you will also need to provide your own hairdryer as it's lacking in the room (lots of bedraggled ladies with wet hair at breakfast). Breakfast simple and in line with a budget hotel, still cheaper than going out for breakfast. The hotel is a 10 minute walk from Lille city centre, it is also close the park (which you have to follow the road through to get back onto main road), we noticed 3 or 4 'working' girls there day and night.

I have been in Ibis budget a couple times before but this one was the most terrible that I have seen. The hotel is stinks, rooms are really poor, our second room was pretty much dangerous as the water from the shower somehow ended up in the room floor. The toilet seat was broken, but after a long day and firstly allocated a dirty room to us, we did not wanted to walk again to the reception and speak with some random unfriendly staff. Avoid this hotel if you can.

Easy to get to from the ring road. Underground parking garage. Right round the corner from Vieux Lille. 5 minutes slow walk to the main city square. Decent sized room with good sized ensuite. Shower curtain not long enough, so the bathroom floor ended up very wet. not really a problem, but messy. No a/c, which would have been welcome in 30c heat, but then it was chosen on cost. Breakfast buffet was very good, with plenty of seating and as much as you wanted to have. We were not leaving Lille until mid afternoon, but they let us leave our car there after we'd vacated the room until we were ready to go on our way, which was very helpful (probably saved a lot in city centre parking charges - if you you could find a space on Saturday morning!).

Basic accommodation is normally what I'm after as I use hotels just for somewhere to sleep and freshen up. I was given a room with a double bed and a overhead bunk bed, shower, toilet, 2 towels and a tv with 3 english news channels, plus a load of french ones. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet. There was a option for breakfast which I declined. 2 vending machines for drinks at a reasonable price were available which I didn't use. The hotel is about a 12 minute walk from Lille Europe and Flanders stations. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and the main shopping area is about 15 mins walk away. I had a very pleasant stay for 3 nights at this hotel and I'll certainly go again.

Positives - central location, decent breakfast Negatives - 'Ladies of the night' hanging around the hotel (even during the day), room wasn't as clean as I'd expect, noisy location if staying at front of hotel.

Disappointed that 'Red light' activities taking place just outside hotel during the day and evening , The room was small but compact. The hotel was near both main train stations. A short walk from the main town.

Ibis Hotel in Lille is just what the brand promises to be: simple, very very clean, efficient, good service, comfortable, warm, cosy, good sleep and excellent with no frills in all respects. It is well located too, staff are friendly and smiling, and above all what amazes me every time i stay in Ibis is the consistency of the cleanliness, neatness and tidy-ness of everything thereabout.

Ibis have tried to pull a fast one here by rebranding the execrable Ibis as "Ibis Budget". This hotel featured everything we have come to hate about the brand: out of the way venue (despite me reading somewhere that it was opposite the station), tiny rooms, uncomfortable beds, no storage room, no proper chair in room and unhelpful staff. No matter that it is cheaper than other Ibises, for your own sanity avoid this at all costs!

Hotel and staff are good. Ask for a room at the back and everything will be ok. Our room was at the front and we didn't sleep because of the very noisy prostitutes who work the street outside the hotel for most of the night. Without knowing where my room is I wouldn't stay here again.
