location is fine for city centre. room was a decent size ,soap/gel in the toilet was good. BUT. air con is useless. had to open the window all night which lets in the road noise and could not sleep ,even on the 4th floor it was very noisy

Stayed for three very enjoyable nights. Hotel is very clean and fresh. Staff are very pleasant and do all they can to help. The breakfast was lovely and plentiful. Have stayed before and will definitely be back.

Was a lovely weekend and the late checkout for an extra £10 was exellent would definitely be back ,very convenient location for all our needs cinema was across from us so went twice , short walk to union square and also union street on the door step , all you can eat breakfast and served all morning was good for us who like to get up later ,we also got to check in at 9am which was exellent has my partner also d a hospital appointment so I got to the room early , we also got £5 reward if we didn’t want the cleaner to come in which really was fine with us so we paid that towards the breakfast exellent idea

Very good value, centrally located hotel 2 minutes walk from Union Street. Well- maintained, clean and modern and there was even a view over the docks for which we could watch the big ships come and go. Extremely helpful, freindly staff.

Great stay at Quayside Ibis over Christmas Relaxing and nice buffet breakfast, my daughter joined me on the last day before she went back to work. The staff were helpful and the atmosphere was seasonal 🎄

Arrived early and got our room no problem, room clean and comfortable, great shower with double doors plenty of room. Staff very friendly and helpful will definitely be staying here again, very central for shops .

When I check into any hotel i always look for comfortable bed, clean and neat room, good wi-fi, location and access and friendly staff ... this hotel ticks all that and more ... and also not so expensive as well in and otherwise expensive UK ... I stayed here before and will stay again .... and think that someone who spends 60 nights in just Accor properties in a year should know well ..what I am saying ...

Clean, comfortable. Good value for money. Excellent view of the quayside. Right in the heart of the city centre. Yards from the main bus route to and from the airport and yet very quiet in the room. Breakfast reasonable/

nice clean room, good service, good breakfasts, nice friendly staff. well located for shopping in Aberdeen. overall good value for money and I would recommend this hotel for overnight stays and short visits .

I checked in after 10pm after waiting 30 minutes in KFC. I decided to get a family bucket and 8 chicken wings. It wasn’t just for me. I’m finally back in the dating scene after a couple of years of being single and it was to feed both of us. The guy that I was spending time with during my break in Aberdeen was going to arrive later, which I was ok with because I could settle into the hotel room and unpack a few things. As I was walking up Union Street, it started pouring down with rain so I started walking a lot faster and made it to the hotel in once piece or so I thought. I entered the hotel and noticed how modern and bright it was as well as spotless. The man at the desk who greeted me had a smile on his face, which made me forget about the rain outside. It was a warm welcome. This was the man I needed to check in with and get my key card from. He was very friendly but as he was talking to me I noticed a dark mark sliding down the side of my nose. I realised my eyeliner must have been melted by the rain and was now creating a panda/horror look. I dabbed my face with my finger and realised it was a lot worse than I had first anticipated. The man at the desk offered me a tissue but I kindly declined as I thought I would just fix it once I had gotten upto my room. I was handed the key card and picked up all my bags and my KFC food bag and to even more embarrassment, the KFC bag burst open. The rain had soaked through it and with it only being paper, it had given up with the weight of all the chicken. Some chicken went flying onto the floor. And sachets of ketchup were everywhere. I was so embarrassed. The man who had checked me in, quickly reacted and came to my aid whilst the lovely lady behind the bar went to get other bags to place my food into whilst being very sympathetic. I managed to save 2 chicken wings from 8, and 8 pieces of chicken from 10, which might seem like a lot of food for 2 people but trust me it was devoured very quickly. I’m not going to lie, from seeing how clean the hotel foyer was, I had contemplated sweeping the chicken that had landed onto the floor back with the rest of the chicken but I (thankfully) decided that was not a good idea and left the floor chicken to go to chicken heaven. After my chicken was packed into new bags (the chicken which had not landed on the floor), the man pressed the button on the lift for me and up I went to my room. I was so glad to get to my room which was lovely. Great stay. Friendly, helpful staff.

We were warmly welcomed and found our room to be spotless. It was just what we needed for an overnight stay. Bed was comfortable and everything we could need was there. It is very central for all attractions and shopping.

They robbed me of my money for the room and refused to pay it back I only reserved the room to pay on arrival but they took full payment then I had to work so I gave the hotel plenary of notice for cancellation but they still will not pay back the money they stole

Our stay in Ibis Aberdeen Quayside was very good, clean beds and rooms, the beds were comfortable too and the staff were helpful too. The breakfast was good, I was able to get Gluten Free bread and a reasonable amount of other breakfast items, the staff could do with more training about people who are on Gluten and Wheat free diets though but a lot of other more expensive hotels are the same. All round we had a good stay and wouldn't hesitate to come back there again if I was in the area!

Easy to find very centrally located hotel. Rooms comfortable and clean! Service very good very friendly staff. Checking in was very easy and we arrived after 10pm. Definitely staying there again! Also loved the complimentary cakes at the reception desk!

Stayed here a couple of times before and this stay was up to the usual high standards. Quality of the breakfasts is great, but could just be a little warmer at times. Staff great, rooms very good, very clean. Will be happy to come back again.

No complaints whatsoever. This is a basic tourist hotel but it does its job perfectly. Helpful, approachable staff and comfortable, clean bedroom. Everything was in good working order (unlike some much more expensive hotels I have stayed in!) The breakfast was lovely, particularly the sausages and croissants. The location was perfect too, just off Union Street and 5 mins walk from the train and bus stations. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

2 night stay at the weekend. It was a lovely quiet room with view of the harbour. The room had everything I needed and the breakfast was good value too. Have already recommended thi hotel to colleagues

Very nice stay, comfortable bed and great staff Enjoyed the view from my room of the Quayside Easy to get a taxi or to explore on foot from the hotel Good to have a later check out than at some places and bag storage at reception

Normally I arrive late; quick pint and natter with Night Porter then quick sleep and leave at 04:45. This time stayed for two nights; breakfast nicely cooked, not much dearer than 'greasy spoon' type caff, 'eat as much as you like' was really good value. Day staff really pleasant and friendly. Only minor faults were key card kept losing code, but as this always happened at doors to stairs in reception this was no problem, and if sat up in bed reading, the bed would roll away from the wall; again, no issue.
