I've been traveling to Amsterdam in October 2016. If you looking for a quiet area avoid this location when Amsterdam Dance Event is happening. There is plenty of parties around so it's a bit noisy. Nights should be fine but days might be noisy, especially if you stayed in south side of the hotel. Good hotel 3 starts, clean. Positives: good price, can be nice and quiet depends of the month ;) less than 20 mins from Amsterdam Centraal with bus number 22 (2.90 Euro per single ticket) small but comfy rooms. Ngatives: no restaurants around, especially during the weekend. This is industrial area so nothing realy happening during the weekends. However less than 15 mins walk and you might get a nice restaurants. I had to double confirm my payment: I've been asked to pay taxes upon arrival, even if I've paid that already, and I've had an confirmation on my email already sent by one of the hotel eployee. I had to log into my emails again and to my bank account statements to proove it, it makes my check in prodecures longer;/ Extremely high price for bottle of water- 7 Euros! No restaurant on Sunday at all;/ Apart of that very good note. Will be back to Ibis hotels again.
