Not our favourite Ibis hotel. Parking very limited for higher vehicles and staff not overly friendly. When we visited they were building out the back and the sound of this plus traffic noise was annoying. Room very small and utilitarian.

I stayed there for ten days while working at the university nearby. For visiting the city center, it is not a very good location, but not difficult to reach combining bus, metro and/or tram. The room was large and had a large table, thus I could work well in the evenings and in the weekends. Reception was nice to allow me to use a desk of the restaurant for working more confortably there. Cleaning was efficient. Breakfast was simple but good and had a reasonable price. The only problem was that the elevators stopped for some time in a Saturday and the receptionist suggested me to use the stairs instead of trying to solve the problem (but I waited some minutes and something else made the elevator to work).

Good stopover location. Easy to find, friendly staff, clean rooms and facilities, great breakfast. Limited parking though so book or prepare to park on the street. All staff very friendly and helpful.

Basic is an understatement. Room facilities were scuffed up and grubby. The sink is sink in the main area of the room. If you want to use the bunk bed you have to make the bunk bed up. Shocked to find No toilet seat. lack of sockets, hot and noisy room. Have to pay €6 a night parking. Much better and cheaper options available

This quaint little gem in the Italian alps is the perfect place to stay on your travels! Nothing fancy, but wouldn't change a thing! We liked it so much we decided to stay a second night! Don't miss the ruins on the top of the hill adjacent to the hotel in the town of Villeurbaunne. And do stop in one of the local pizzarias for a delicious meal!

I booked a room as I had several meetings at INSA Lyon. The location was perfect (20 metres walk from the bus stop 37 and or 17, which takes you to the centre of Lyon, or the main train station, along with a few other stations). It is also a 5 minute walk to the tram station T1 (Croix-Luizet). There is a Carrefour supermarket about 5 to 10 minutes walk. The receptionists were friendly and the cleaners were helpful in the morning when I needed the room to be cleaned a few hours later than normal. Although the location is next to a roundabout, the windows are pretty good at sound-proofing. The room size was ok, having a double bed, shower, toilet (2 separate areas within the same room), and sink with large mirrors next to the bed, plus a good-sized tv. I did not try the food so cannot comment on it. The room and hotel were very clean, and the wifi was free and good connectivity, with myself even watching a one-hour video online with no issues. I would stay there again for the price and what you get !

We stayed here whilst taking part in a triathlon nearby (so were sensible early bedders) and everything was great! Room/bathroom was clean and the beds were firm but super-comfy. Highly recommended if you're on a budget!

Good hotel, with restaurant attached, for a stopover from Calais to south of France. Booking, check-in and taking of dog all went smoothly. Bed was adequate but not as comfortable as some of the other IBIS Budget hotels. Fortunately we took our own extra pillows as there is only a single pillow per person. Carrefour Supermarket round the corner which was useful to stock up before travelling on to the remote village where we were staying. It would have been helpful if the Hotel, on its website, had given detailed directions as our sat nav took us by a very roundabout route. Excellent English spoken and staff very pleasant.
