Travelling between the Uk and spain this stopover is perfect. Minutes from the A75 with Carrefour petrol and store across the road and eating places a walk to from the hotel. Staff always pleasant and happy with room and breakfast. Room 101 is a double with no bed above and view of your car outside.

This was the latest of my many stop-overs at this hotel, breaking my journey between the UK and Spain. English is spoken! The receptionists have invariably been friendly and helpful - putting to shame front-desk staff at much more expensive establishments. The room was basic but spotlessly clean, and the bed extremely comfortable. Despite the close proximity to the motorway, soundproofing was excellent and with the window closed, one cannot hear any traffic noise. The hotel is convenient, clean, comfortable and economical; ideal!

This hotel has sensors fitted in each toilet to turn the light on when someone enters the toilet. All well during the day but at night whenever someone goes into the toilet the light floods out through a ventilation panel in the main room ceiling and wakes up other occupants. Would be a good idea to either remove the automatic facility or stop the light entering the main hotel room.

Friendly staff. Facility a bit dated, but clean. Air-conditioning was not working so well. Rather noisy with windows open at night as it is next to a motorway. Woken up by a fire alarm, but that wasn't the hotel's fault.

I have used this hotel many times as it is an ideal stopping off point for my journey to northern Spain. It is ideally situated very close to the motorway and has options for dinner and refuelling(buffalo grill and carrefore)literally next door.

Really good for overnight stops going either North or South easy to get into Issoire for a meal or Buffalo Grill next door and Carrefore on the other side of road to get fueled up again before setting off again back next year as usual

We have stayed at this hotel about 4 or 5 times before. This time, we checked in, showered, changed and went out for a meal. When we returned there was an envelope taped to the door telling us that the water supply to our loo had been turned off and we would have to use the public toilet situated at the end of the next corridor. There was no-one on reception, so we were forced into this totally unsatisfactory arrangement. the next morning, I asked why we could not have been offered another room. First I was told no other rooms of the "format" we had chosen were available. The hotel was not fully booked - in fact at midnight, there were only 19 vehicles in the car park. Then I was told another room number and access code could not have been left because other guests could have opened the envelope. So why could it not have been left INSIDE the room? I was assured that the problem would be fixed that morning, but as we were leaving, that was of no help to me. If I had wanted to share public facilities, I would have booked into a Formula 1. In addition, the beds were hard as planks of wood. Since no apology or other comment was forthcoming from the receptionist, we had no choice but to leave thoroughly dissatisfied.

Right next to the motorway, yet a totally peaceful night's sleep. It was very hot - up to 39 degrees in the evening - so I was glad the air conditioning worked so well. A relaxing stroll round the nearby lake to stretch my legs after the journey, and a large, comfortable bed. Ideal!

We should have been warned that as a result of major renovations etc, no normal breakfast would be available. The staff were helpful and the "take it to your room" basic breakfast as OK, but not what we had expected.

The hotel was undertaking some building works but there was no disruption for us. The receptionist was very helpful suggesting places where we could go to dine, and she offered us breakfast at a cheap rate due to the building works.

Comfortable bed, great shower and great value for money. The only thing we could have done with is a couple of pillows per person rather than just two. The receptionist gladly helped us when we asked for some hot water.

Exactly what we expected....modern, clean and efficient stopover. Made even better by nearby Auberge serving local Auvergne dishes....try the Truffade. Easy to find and not expensive. Breakfast also good. Recommended.

As usual, I stopped overnight on my way from Valencia to the UK. What can I add to my previous good reviews? The hotel was clean, convenient, comfortable, quiet and as always, the staff were as pleasant and helpful as I have encountered anywhere. And the hotel is dog-friendly! Full marks, yet again.

Got what it said on the tin. Room was clean and adequate. Easy to find as you can see it from the motorway but not to be confused with the other, more upmarket, Ibis. Reception/concierge very welcoming and ever courteous and helpful. Breakfast options very good. Parking good.

Had not realised that a budget Ibis would be so basic. Dislike having the shower cubicle in the bedroom as no privacy. Breakfast was extremely limited with cereals of corn flakes and one other not recognised cereal. Choice of honey or strawberry jam only. Not value for money. Better to pay 10 € more for the alternative Ibis in Issoire. Will not use budget Ibis again.

The hotel was very good, and the staff are extremely helpful, and they speak several languages. I have stayed in this hotel several times along the past 4 years, and it always has been excellent. A very good thing in this hotel is that it has some smoking rooms, which is usually not available in most places!

Big wet room for my disabled daughter and spacious accommodation made our stay very comfortable. Uusally have difficulty finding a room with disabled facilities that also accommodates 2 other people . Very refreshing to find this plus a helpful receptionist who gave my parents a room next to us to enable them to assist me.

I stayed overnight on my way back from Valencia to the UK; it is very convenient for the Meridienne motorway. The hotel was convenient, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly, efficient and helpful. For a refreshing shower and an excellent night's sleep at a good price, what more could one ask for?

I was particularly disappointed that when I first tried to book on line the room was offered to me for £47 bit each time I tried to pay the price went up to £60. I phoned your customer service desk (the person answering didn't speak English) and mentioned this fact. She told me that the £47 rate was a special rate available only on line. I pointed out to her that I was booking on line but still I was being forced to pay £13 extra over the rate offered ie £60. All she said was that I could book over the phone but that would also cost £60. In the end I returned to the online booking and proceeded to pay the £60. However I am very disappointed by this result. Under the law if you offer goods or services and that offer is accepted then there is a binding contract. You cannot then increase the price. I feel that Accor is cheating is customers by staying that the room price is one amount but then making the customer pay a greatly increased amount. I will think twice about using Accor hotels again.
