Great location for walking around Colmar and clean rooms and corridors but the shower room needed a revamp (it even shot water onto the room because of the placement of the shower head attachment). Also we were told in the evening breakfast was until 10.30am, only to be denied breakfast at 09.35am - and all requests for a refund were dismissed

The room is small. But hey, it is a budget hotel. It is enough for a short stay. The "cool" air conditioning did not work in our room. Blew only warm air. The room was very clean, they changed the towels everyday. The breakfast was good considering the price. The employee at the reception was very friendly. Parking was available with reasonable price. The location was close to the city centre.

A good hotel with friendly staff.Easy to find and has plenty of parking. The changes made to the breakfast room are a big improvement to the hotel lobby. Rooms are quiet with good soundproofing though the beds could be softer.

Ibis budget Colmar is economical value for budget tourist. The location is not to far from the museum while breakfast is fine for me. However, it would be great if the elevator is bigger. I think totally the hotel is fine and suitable for me.

Perfect price quality ; room are small but clean, good shower, quiet and safe; very friendly and efficient staff; decent breakfast; safe parking and very close to the centre. Fits very well for a weekend trip;

When we arrrived, the hotel was a mass. There are renovating the hotel. The only thing you had was your room, which is old fashion and small. Not real clean too. Must dust and spiderwebs. A was a pitty that it wasn;t mentioned on the website that the hotel was in renovation. Lucky it was just a very hort stay. Colmar is beautifull.

A very nice hotel in the centre of Colmar - but because we arrived in the dark, it was very difficult to find without satnav. Colmar has a one way system which seems complicated if you arrive late and have no satnav, and the little schematic map in the Ibis Budget booklet is quite useless. Scope for improvement there I think.

I stayed 2 nights at Ibis budget Colmar (I shall stay 1 more night here). You can take the bus to Champs De Mars stop (3 stops from main train station) and walk only 5 minutes (you will see the road sign pointed to the hotel). From hotel it's convenient walk to Theatre where the bus stop to Riquewhir and Kaysersberg is there as well as TI. Nearby also bicycle rental shop. The facility is ibis standard. Staffs are very helpful and no expression of boring when I had many questions. Thank you, especially the young pretty staff (didn't ask her name). And because it's not in city center, the room is quiet. For asian tourist, please note that the shower room door is glass, no olace to hang towel inside shower room.

+ Excellent location next to Colmar down town (5 min to walk) + Friendly and helpfull staff + Protected parking available + Free WiFi with good performance ± Avarage cleaningness ± Average bed quality (to hard for my back) Overal: good at the price

We stayed at this hotel for a week. The room is too small and cramped. Very poor internet connection. Toilet is small and not very clean. Only plus point is that it is located near the major attractions

A great option for those looking to save a little money without sacrificing location. Our room itself was a bit small compared to other Ibis Budget hotels we've stayed in, and the hallway smelled strongly of smoke as I guess there were smoking rooms nearby, but overall, it was a comfortable stay. Our room was clean and the staff was friendly, and the secure parking area was a nice convenience. The wifi did not work well in our room, but worked just fine in the lobby. The best part of this property is that it offers a clean room at an affordable rate, and the location is excellent for exploring the area by foot and by car.

bad odour, loud (Couldn´t open the window due to the traffic ) air condition didn´t work; dust everywhere needs renovation; should be non smoker, but someone had obviously smoked inside , my clothes really smelled bad the next day; aweful

The accommodation was quite good. The staff were very helpful. The usual IBIS breakfast was adequate. Very secure parking. Easy walking distance to old Colmar and the waterways. Very convenient if not planning a long stay.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and allright allthough it is clearly old, it would be a good idea to renovate the building and rooms. Also the internet connection was poor on the 4th floor... For the rest a very pleasant stay.

After 14 hours ride all I needed was a safe garage for my motorbike, a simple room, hot shower and easy access on foot to city centre for a quick meal before going to sleep and sleep well. I got all of the above with no fuss and that felt like luxury after the day I had. I use this hotel every year and I will not stop if they continue this way. Great!

After paying very much in Germany we got in Colmar because of the price and the name of the hotel. We got a triple room, but the third bed was over the double bed. The ladder couldn't be phisically used so you had to jump up from the double bed. Shower and toillet are smaller than in a train. The whole room is less than 10 sqm. And the shower door is made of glass. So, not very nice to stay 3 in this room. The location is good, next to the old town. Parking is 7 euro/day.

Its a short walk on the left from the Train Station. Staff is friendly and helpful. Room is small with a toilet. Just for a night over is fine. Short walk to the left for pizza take away shops, cinema with Chinese & Pizza restaurants and a Subway sandwich shop, etc. Also walking distance to tourist places.

I was particularly pleased with the receptionist (Hugo) politeness, availability, and professionality. He was very helpful, very clear and extremely friendly. The only little, very little inconvenience was the fee I had to pay for the parking space. The hotel is rather central and there aren't many parking facilities for free.

Bad -Room condition is totally terrible, -The room was not clean in the first day, -There was a bad smell all over the floor of the hotel Good +staff is really friendly. +Location is good, easy to access centre of colmar

The room is tiny, but has everything. Daughter loved the bunk. Perfectly clean, but shower door needed a repair. First night we had very noisy neighbors. We could every laugh and door slam through the walls and doors. No problem the second night. Breakfast was reasonable, but the coffee was poor.
