It was a little hard to find, but when we did, we enjoyed our stay. Our reservation was for Monday, but due to transportation problems, we checked in on Tuesday with no problems! We had dinner there our first night as we were very tired. We both enjoyed our choices! Thanks!
Hotel situated in a vet remote area. No metro or easy transport available. But those who like village luff and interiors of Spain can stay and move around. Me not recommend. For short trip those who wants to see Barcelona
We had quite a struggle to find the hotel - my fault not theirs and were feeling pretty wiped out by the madness of being lost between Barcelona airport and Molins de Rei. We were looked after really well and, after a good sleep and a lovely breakfast we continued happily on our journey.
We came from the north and stopped at Ibis Molins De Rei. The check in was fast, polite and with a smile, willing to assist at any question. We liked our room at the high floor that was very clean and with all the Ibis goodies in it, that we familiar with. We came with a car from A2 and the location was easy to find with a GPS. Also to drive south to Barcelona or Airport was easy with the GPS help.
We always stay at the Ibis Molins De Rei when visiting my daughter and family. The staff are always extremely helpful and polite and prepared to do extra to help. The rooms and public areas are always scrupulously clean and tidy.
Very easy to find and easy to travel to Barcelona by train, train station 10mins walk through town. Hotel was clean and welcoming. Staff were very helpful and informative. Rooms really comfortable and spotless. Hotel worth every penny would highly recommend to friends and family.
Friendly and helpful staff; we got communicating rooms which for a family was ideal. The hotel is clean, very good location for stopover -- double windows didn't leave a bit of outside noise through. Very comfy bed!
Have stayed at this Ibis a couple of times this year and each time has been fine. The reception staff are friendly and efficient. Yes it is a little outside of Barcelona, however there is regular public transport if required. I would happily choose to stay here again.
We didn't mind the 20 min. drive into Barcelona since we had our own car, and saved a bundle by staying out of the city. Found parking outside the hotel both nights we were there, so saved there as well. Wouldn't recommend the carb-heavy breakfast and there is an excellent iberian ham specialty restaurant walking distance from the hotel.
There was a rude lady at the front counter who I think could be the manager. She couldn't understand my Chilean Spanish and was quite rude about it. The room was ok, but no tea or coffee facilities. Besides that, it's ok.
The hotel is relatively new and clean. Breakfast is nothing much to shout about, but at least it is cheap. The staff can speak multiple languages, including English. The hotel is far from city centre but if you drive, it will be just a 20 mins drive to the beach.
We spent three days in BCN for a friend's wedding, after a 5-day holiday on the coast. IBIS was great service and top level value for money, together with all the services provided and the excellent buffet breakfast
and I miss tissues in all Ibis hotels in Spain but - apart from that - everything else is good standard, above average, clean & comfort room, friendly English speaking staff.(!!! not obvious in Spain) I don't know why I must type 200 characters - when I have nothing more to say. The hotel is good. I can recommend to everyone who is not lazy to walk a bit every day.
