As well travelled retirees having stayed in 5 Star to donkey stable accomodation throughout our travels, this stopover met all our expectations and more, absolutely spot on clean and accommodating. Our thanks go to your staff on duty ... Returned our rental car 4 min drive to airport. Taxi to airport in the early hours of the morning organised by your superb staff on duty .. Superb stopover .. Will use Ibis again and again.

room was clean and basic. no bar or restaurant though, just vending machines and accor membership means nothing in the ibis Budget range. taxi ride from airport , got ripped off by the driver at airport (not metered) but the guywho took me to airport the next day was fine (metered). wouldnt want a week here but ok if just landed and need a bed near the airport

Location is excellent for airport, only 5-10 min. to drive. Staff were great; helpful, and pleasant. Room was big enough and quiet. The only missing thing was the shampoo in the bathroom, bot not a big issue.

The room was good but the hotel was quite far from the airport. We had to take a taxi to get there and pay £18 for 5 min drive. I chose the hotel because it was supposed to be close to the airport and pay that amount was disappointing

Very modern accommodation, comfortable bed after 30 hours of travel, very friendly helpful staff, convenient adjacent secure parking and good breakfast. Worthwhile seeing Malaga before moving get on, beautiful city. The other ibis location in Malaga is a 5 minute walk to the old town if you are staying more than one night.

The room was very clean, the service was very good, the employees very friendly. It was a bit difficult to find the bus, you need to walk approximatly 900 meters to get it. But the hotel is near the Palacio de Congresos, you can walk in 17 minutes.

Arrived late to travel further and overnight in hotel. Staff are friendly, room, breakfast and bath are clean/OK but no cup/glass, not even plastic type, in bath sink in 2 rooms! Also, airport taxi demanded minimum 19 euro for short trip to hotel from terminal.

This is a big renovation in this hotel. It is rather far from the airport. In the morning and night you have to pay 17 euros for taxi because there are no buses or other public transport from hotel to the airport.

Hotel was very good at when all the staff were off the phone a queue at reception having progressed over 20 minutes. The room was good and bed very comfortable. I would only criticise the lack of imagination in the menu - would suit pizza eaters of salad freaks.

very bad airco resulting in hot rooms. Windows can be opened but bring lots of noise from street where some clubs seem to be located. Once, never again. Disappointed platinum member! Smoke getting in from rooms below when window opened.

This is the fifth time we stayed at this hotel and have been satisfied every time. Close to the airport, easy to get to and pleasant staff makes it a good choice for us. The beds are like most (maybe all) ibis in Spain at the moment, all new and very comfortable

Staff friendly. Breakfastbuffet okay. I hope this was an human error. While we were in the room , the sign please do not disturb outside. The cleaning staff knocking more than once at our door.

Stayed here for 2 nights in November with my dog. I was visiting friends in Fuengirola and this was the closest 'decent' pet friendly hotel that I had found. The room/bathroom were clean and in good repair. I had a room overlooking the motorway outside which worried me at first when I saw it, till I realised that the really quiet air conditioner was actually louder than the noise from the motorway outside. They had achieved this by building a second window on the inside of the wall creating a sound proof window system. The staff were friendly and helpful but I had one concern. As I usually prefer to eat in when tired, I enquired about eating out on the terrace as I had my dog with me. I was informed that the terrace was closed, (there was a sign to that effect on the door to the terrace). I was then informed in detail that I could sit on the terrace with my dog but would have to order my food and drink at the bar then wait for it when it would be given to me on a tray, to carry out myself onto the terrace and that if I required anything else I would have to come back inside and repeat the process. Needless to say I wasn't interested in balancing a tray and a dog on a leash plus maybe having to also open the doors myself all at the same time, so I went out and visited one of the many restaurants in the town, sitting at a table outside, closed in on three sides protected from wind and weather where a waiter happily took my order and served me outside even bringing my dog a bowl of water and I didn't have to worry about balancing anything. I didn't understand why the terrace was closed as it was not that cold and the previous week I stayed at the Ibis Alicante and the night before had stayed at the Ibis Granada, both places were not as warm as Malaga but both served me on the outside terrace. I understand different rules for different hotels but I think that exceptions can be made at times. Another small point is that as an Accor Gold Card holder I am entitled to a complimentary drink when staying at an Accor hotel. I have several unused vouchers at home because I don't always take advantage of them but have always been offered them. Not so at this hotel, it just seems odd that when it comes to service, something seems lacking here.

From seeing the hotel at the side of the A7 to actually working out how to get to it took exactly one hour and 6 minutes. Not just me, the same for friends in a different vehicle. There were no signs on which road to take to get to it. The reception staff were friendly and efficient, but the foyer is tired and ageing. I put my laptop on a glass table, the central screw was loose so the glass top wasn't fixed properly, the laptop could easily have fallen off. Room: the electric point was too far from the bed to be able to sit on the bed and work. Not great to have to sit at the desk after a day of working and sitting at a desk. I wanted to kick back a bit. I could't. The beds were very comfortable. No noise from the nearby A7 road. The worst thing for me was that the internet was awful. Neither my phone nor laptop could get a decent signal. When I did, it lasted a few minutes at most then dropped again. As I was there on businesses over three nights I really needed access to the net to get work done. In the end I walked to McDonalds to use theirs. All in all I would not stay at this IBIS again, though I really like the London venues for business stays. Some directions, an update to the foyer and above all fix the internet and I would change my mind.

We were a large mixed family group including small children occupying 6 rooms over several nights. The hotel managed all of our requirements and were very helpful throughout our stay. It was easier for us to eat in the hotel and the menu on offer suited all tastes and the food was very well prepared. Rooms were clean and comfortable and very quiet given the close proximity of a major highway and the airport. We have used the hotel before for a short stay and would not hesitate to book again in similar circumstances

If you are looking for a comfy bed, clean room and parking included for a good price, this is always a safe choice. This trip was for the Elton John concert so we walked over quickly, safely and as always our car was parked in the lot for free at the hotel! Drinks before and after at the hotels bar are cold and well priced!

The hotel is only 3kms from the airport, has its own restaurant and buffet breakfast, although near the motorway/bypass the room had quadruple glazing so you couldn't hear the traffic. You really need to have a car to use this hotel, but if you are handing back a hired car there are 3 petrol stations between the hotel and the airport. A short easy drive or a 30 min walk to the beach. there is a Carrefour supermarket and 2 fast food restaurants very close by. You will need to check your map well or use a navigator to get there if you are coming from outside Granada, but to and from the airport is very easy.

Just 5 minutes by car and you are there. Ideal if you are a late arrival or an early departure. The hotel is situated near a large shopping centre and the hotel restaurant actually prepares your food and it tastes well. (some give you a microwave heated meal)

Well run, clean and with good staff. Was difficult to find but once found it was relatively easy to find again. Parking was free above ground or 6 euros per night for underground parking. We used the free parking.
