Arrived here and had to search for someone to check in! Only to be told there was no reservation then at the third attempt the young lady found it and confirmed the room snd breakfast. Next morning was told I hadn't paid for breakfast so how would I like to pay on producing a receipt we were allowed to proceed. I shouldn't have bothered the breakfast was terrible. The worst I have had at an Ibis and in fact the worst of any hotel I have stayed at in the last 40 years! Needless to say very disappointed and will not stay here again!

Handy location close to the DLR; very clean, modern and comfortable rooms; a warm welcome; dogs allowed (for a fee); a good buffet-style breakfast. I am dedicated Ibis customer. I like them because they are down-to-earth, reasonably priced, and staff are always friendly. A great place to stay if you are, like me, not into hotels with doormen, concierges, and cocktail bars with mood lighting.

Stayed at this hotel for the second time. Fantastic location, right next to the Emirates Air Line, over to the O2 friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast. All you need for a wonderful stay in the Capital. Not expensive either. Would certainly book aga

As this hotel is only a few metres from the main entrance to the Excel centre in London's Docklands it is usually dreadfully overpriced for what it is. However I stayed when there were no events taking place so I paid a sensible rate and was very pleased with the hotel. Clean, warm & comfortable, with welcoming and helpful staff.

Had to wait 20 minutes to check in, as there was no staff on reception. When eventually being checked in, we were told we had a room on the 3rd floor; however when we said we didn’t require breakfast! The reception manager said ‘ in that case I will move to to the 6th floor” why was we moved because we did not want breakfast? The room we got was not great (room 618) it feels like we were downgraded for not wanting breakfast

Staff are amazing and hotel is better than before. Good level of service. Food was very good. Staff member(Stacy) helped us out things to do in London. Will be using the hotel again. Need more things for diabetics on the menu.

Recently stayed in this hotel as have always found the brand reliable and this hotel was no exception. They have clearly had a recent refurbishment as both the lobby and rooms had very modern "chic" interiors and latest mod-cons. The best part of the hotel for me was the view over the river. I had just booked a standard room so there appears to be no extra charge for an absolutely splendid view of the river. I'd recommend asking for a river-view when booking, it appears to be down to availability rather than a paid extra. The whole area is really nice just to walk around, with the Excel convention centre across the road and a fancy bridge over the old Victorian era docks area (which has now been converted into nice walkways, restaurants and housing). Lots of transport links, but if you are at Canary Wharf it's actually a really nice walk along the river and refurbished docks area, with lots of nice riverfront restaurants. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Fantastic hotel, great location, room was good size, shower is hot, breakfast was good, staff were really nice and very helpful. Evening restaurant is not up to scratch, cold food, horrible... Otherwise, great!

Please put the staff back behind the reception desk at check in as it confuses the hell out of people. I don’t know who thinks this is a great idea. If you need help from staff you want to be able to know where they are!!!!!!!

Great, clean, quiet, well located - literally the only thing that slightly bothered me was that you only got 1 smallish towel per person, so no hand or hair towel. Not a big deal at all and probably would have been fine to ask for another but I was suprised that didn't come as standard. Otherwise a great, comfortable stay!

Very good reception even at 22h at night, nice comfortable rooms, decent amount of plugs and USB-chargers, good breakfast enough choice to make anybody happy. Staff was very friendly and well informed

Great Value - comfortable and quiet - very clean - well done to all staff for making this trip easy and good. The hotel is well located and despite being a late arrival the room and staff for great - would stay again!

This is a great, modern IBIS hotel in the Heart of the Docklands area of London, just five minutes walk from the cable car which goes to the O2 arena. I stayed while attending a concert at the O2, and I found it was perfectly situated for a spectacular arrival to the Arena and a (reasonably) convenient journey back at the end of the concert. Staff were friendly and helpful at every stage of the trip. I'll be staying here again next time I attend something at the O2.

I had a pleasant stay although as it is in close proximity to the airport the early morning wake up call was from aircraft. Perhaps some sound proofing is in order . The staff were very professional and welcoming. Breakfast was average. I also was able to press my clothing in a well prepared ironing area. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff in the hotel and I had a good stay.

Visiting London for a conference and some sightseeing. Ibis is confusing as there are so many of them! I ended up at this hotel though I thought I was booking at another nearby. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The hotel was very busy as it was holiday time in England and there was some sort of bicycle race going on as well. The breakfast, that was thought to be included in the room fee but wasn't, ($10+Pounds!!) was very good although the tour groups coming through sometimes had the staff running to refill the trays. The staff were mostly lovely and helpful. If you need to be in the area it's near the underground and the emirates cable cars so getting into central London wasn't too bad.

I had checked in on line but this wasn't showing at the hotel, so had to redo. room was clean and staff polite, only criticism was there it was a Friday night and only 1 girl serving at the bar, rushed off her feet and taking ages for us to get drinks, so more bar staff at weekends? Great location for O2 & Olympic Park, Stratford where we were heading & reason for our stay!

I arrived at around 7pm to be told my room wasn't ready as people were checking out. Really at 7pm? I waited for 20 mins and got my room. The air conditioning was broken (30 degrees day) and the whole room smelled of faeces as the extracter fan in the toilet was also broken. No other rooms available. I paid £250 for a room that literally made me feel sick all night because of the smell! The staff in the morning were apologetic and offered a free breakfast. I declined as unsurprisingly I didn't really have an appetite. Avoid this hotel.

Never stayed in an Ibis before, was really worth the price of for what we got. Loved the biscuits, staff were polite, very clean, only complaint would be the air con doesn't work good enough but then I find that with any hotel.

Nice hotel for the price we paid. The room was clean and the bed comfortable with a nice view over the water. The bar was extremely disappointing - they ran out of glasses in the evening, the barman ran out of change and said "sorry will have to owe you"!! the que to get served was extremely slow and the choice of food poor. Really could do with at least one vending machine so you could get something to drink or eat.

Reasonably nice room yet cheap towels and bedding. I developed an allergic reaction to the pillows as they used some kind of hollow fibres. I had inflamed throat and eyes and couldn't sleep for a few days. I asked for normal pillows, made of feather or wool, yet they could not supply nor fix in the 15 mins ibis boasts about. Stay should be free.
