There was no airco in the room. Leaving the window open was'nt an option because of traffic noise from the motorway. It was convenient located for walking to the museum and to the city along the Rhone. There was an 24hr reception and a controlled gate exit to the car parking.

The visit of a stranger in the middle of the night while sleeping was a big shock that left us distressed for quite a while (apparently it was another guest who was given keys to our room, as if it were not occupied). The reaction to our complains was dismaying: just the sentence "something like this is quite exceptional" or "normally it does not happen". No real apology or compensation of any kind was offered! Such an appalling customer service (not only because of that: even though you are forced to pay your bill -including the extras for breakfast- at check in, they did not even notified the breakfast maid, who could not find us on her list; in addition, somebody ELSE came into the room -without even first knocking- while we were packing before leaving, again offering no apologies, but simply stating "I thought the room was free, according to my list"). We felt that we were treated very badly and absolutely disrespectfully. Otherwise, the hotel itself could be acceptable, within walking distance of the city center. Easy to reach by car, with sufficient outdoor parking space and a nice swimming pool. Rooms are OK and have air conditioning. Breakfast was a bit basic, but acceptable.

The hotel is an easy walk from the centre of Arles but is next door to the great Roman Museum with its huge collection of roman artifacts from Arles and of course the Palais des Congres itself. There is a free shuttle bus through the centre of town to the station every half an hour. The rooms are large and modern and the shower rooms are proper sized rather than the small pods found elsewhere in budget hotels. The hotel has a restaurant but the menu was a bit dull and there are no other restaurants in the quarter. The nearnest to the antiquities museum really makes it very attractive.

at the low rate we have paid it is a reasonable hotel. however, do not look for a warm and cosy room. you have the bed, a table and a TV. the rooms are clean and seems recently refurbished. the breakfast is average and could be cheapper. stay there if you want a good price for a room.

Often a long wait for one of the two lifts...also it was surprising and rather sad to see the large and potentially beautiful garden at the back of the hotel in a badly neglected state...surely Ibis could afford a competent gardening service, I assume the hotel hopes to cater for delegates at conferences many of whom would enjoy this quiet oasis in their spare time.

In a quite part of town, but walking distance to all the action. Very pleasant air conditioned room with access to pool, good secure parking and very friendly staff who worked to make our staff a good one. Good on site restaurant and bar. Would stay again any time.

Excellent parking and access from main roads. Easy walk into town. Rooms clean, tidy and reasonable size. Good pool available for summer. Located opposite excellent museum of Arles Antique. English spoken at reception. Coffee and bar facilities and good lounging space.

The hotel is located just outside the city 15 minute walk. the area around the hotel is scruffy and also a rather low class housing development colours your opinion of the site. The hotel itself was well up to standard and the staff friendly and helpful. One word of warning whilst we were having breakfast a walk in thief came into the dining area and stole a couples bags - they had just put them down by the table whilst they got a coffee. the thief seemed to well known to the hotel staff !!!! PS pool was very cold even tho the temperature was in excess of 30 degrees

Good position, very near the city of Arles. Watch out for the mosquitoes in the city. Felt like a second class citizen: The Ibis Budget was part of a Mercure hotel site and it was clear that they were just selling off the bad rooms in the Mecure hotel. The room was in the Mercure Colours. The room had broken tiles and missing panels in the bathroom. Basically the Ibis Budget did not exist as a hotel in it own right.
