The visit of a stranger in the middle of the night while sleeping was a big shock that left us distressed for quite a while (apparently it was another guest who was given keys to our room, as if it were not occupied). The reaction to our complains was dismaying: just the sentence "something like this is quite exceptional" or "normally it does not happen". No real apology or compensation of any kind was offered! Such an appalling customer service (not only because of that: even though you are forced to pay your bill -including the extras for breakfast- at check in, they did not even notified the breakfast maid, who could not find us on her list; in addition, somebody ELSE came into the room -without even first knocking- while we were packing before leaving, again offering no apologies, but simply stating "I thought the room was free, according to my list"). We felt that we were treated very badly and absolutely disrespectfully. Otherwise, the hotel itself could be acceptable, within walking distance of the city center. Easy to reach by car, with sufficient outdoor parking space and a nice swimming pool. Rooms are OK and have air conditioning. Breakfast was a bit basic, but acceptable.
