For car traveler, easy to get and cheap to stay. Nothing fancy, but all you need; beds and breakfast. Like all other ibis budget hotels, rooms are the same, even the sopa is same ;). But very good choice, If You are traveling and searchinf for cheap room.

Hotel fine for my needs. Next to a tram stop and with free car parking. Staff welcoming and spoke at least some English which was great as I have no German. Easy to get to town centre by walking or tram, although I took a folding bike which was a great way to get around with cycle paths right outside.

This budget hotel exceeded my expectations and was everything we wanted for an overnight stop on a long journey from the UK to Italy. Very clean, simple comfortable, air conditioning and good shower. Beware that Germany still have Smoking rooms so asked for Non Smoking if you dont want the background smell. Simple breakfast from 6.30am allows you to get away quickly.

Arriving at Ibis SB Ost, first impressions were bad, even weird -you cannot enter the hotel before 2 pm, and even then: no open reception! This is not nice, as one might have dates or things to work -and might want to check-in first, getting rid of one's luggage. But no way. After 2 pm, you must check in via automat, which is positioned in the one and only doorway (entrance and exit!!), so that people checking in and people that just want to get in or out are bumping into each other. This is not nice, either. Rooms: cosy, well, rather small. Very clean, though. The neighborhood is loud enough that you will not open the window during the night, but the air-condition is working. Breakfast: OK. But no personal contact, no reception, no good feelings, even for this very nice price: i would not recommend this ibis budget to anyone. In my eyes, this concept of a "hotel" does simply not work.

We had a very comfortable stay in clean and well managed budget hotel with very nice breakfast. The hotel is located with easy access to autobahn and a short walk to the Saar river. The parking was a bonus.

Booked this hotel for my fiancé and I whilst we visited his cousin who's studying in Saarbrucken. The hotel is well located to be close enough to the centre but far enough out. Tram stop right outside. 10 minute journey to the centre of town. The hotel itself is very basic, bed, shower, toilet and sink. Bed fairly hard but that suited us. One very thin pillow each and a duvet that didn't cover the bed, but used the spare from the bunk. This said, our room was quite warm so not a problem really. A bit of noise from the industrial plant at the back of hotel but not too loud that you cant sleep. Can't comment on breakfast as we ate at McDonald's which is cheap and a 5 min walk. Free wifi and it was reliable. Check-in was easy and the system to get into hotel was simple if reception was closed. Would stay again if we needed to.

We needed a hotel to break our journey between Southern Germany and South West England and this just fitted the bill. Undercover parking. Easy access after hours with the code provided. Clean, basic, comfortable room, perfect for an overnight rest. Good breakfast at a very reasonable cost. Only slight niggles were the duvet was rather skimpy and there was no built in hairdryer.

Excellent, clean and functional and great value hotel. Just off the motorway so no massive detour. We used it as a stop over between Calais and the Skiwelt ski regions in Austria as it was approximately half way. Arrived late in the evening, after the reception staff were off duty and the self entry door code system worked seamlessly. Plenty of car parking under the hotel. We will be using it again.

The hotel is clean, but it is not easy to find from the address when using SatNav. It really is quite a grim industrial area with wholesale meat market, and similar businesses in the vicinity. No restaurant in house (except for breakfast) but a good recommendation for a nearby one within walking distance. The car park is too small and already full by the time we arrived. We were concerned about leaving the van in nearby streets due the amount of broken glass indicating past break-ins. However all well and the price was certainly attractive.

Clean rooms and toilets, basic but all you need for a simple overnight stay. Windows are well blinded against the morning light. There are rooms fit for smokers so be sure to select your preference. Hotel personnell is kind but have a limited presence each day. Breakfast is complete. Free WiFi throughout the hotel.

Clean room, not luxurious, but with pretty much everything that one needs. However, you should bring your own shampoo. Service was great and very helpful, nights calm and quiet. For the price, I got more than one can expect. I'd definitely stay there again.

Cheap way how to good sleep in the centre of the city. It was really ok! Clean and pretty room, nice receptionist, free parking and wifi I have already had some experiance with etap/ibis hotel in Europe and this is was my best one.

This was better than we expected! There isn't a fridge, so that's a bummer, but for the price you can't really beat this place. Our rooms were clean and pretty newly redone. We arrived a bit late and did the automated checkin - no problem - easy as could be. Parking was free and seemed pretty safe. I'd come here again, no doubt.

As the title suggests this hotel id describe as you get what you pay for....Basic room but clean and adequatley furnished....Didnt see many staff but the ones we did were politeand welcoming... Was near an industrial area but we werent bothered by noise etc.. Good as an overnight stop on the way to austria..

This hotel is on a main road, next to traffic lights and a tram station, so its very noisy all night with cars revving up at the lights. If you want a good sleep ask for a room at the back and don't open the windows. The bed was very soft and we both had back ache next morning, we did ask for extra pillows they arrived quite quickly. Overall the hotel was clean, room size was ok and staff were friendly.

We stayed just one night at this hotel but we were impressed by the standard of cleanliness and the friendly approach of the staff. The room was excellent, with a comfortable bed, clean towels and a good view out onto the city. The hotel is ideally located close to the tram and the bus. The recommendation to eat at a local restaurant was very helpful and the food was good too. We ate the breakfast the following day. It was superb. Great coffee !

The hotel was clean and light and the staff were friendly. The room was small but definitely OK for one or two nights, but no more. The hotel is situated at the junction of two very busy roads, we could still hear the traffic and tram noise even with the window fully closed. That said we would stay at IBIS Budget again.

Room and breakfast up to the quality and standard expected of Ibis Budget hotels. Room clean and well decorated. Breakfast was the continental type with plenty of it. Hotel car parking space restricted in number of spaces. Sign posting to hotel could be improved
