We arrived at this hotel at midday and were informed in a very pleasant manner that we were too early to book in, but the receptionist Dianne proceeded to find us a room that we had booked and had been cleaned early, and she did.
My niece who was with us , who lives and works in Murcia not far from Alicante decided to stay over with us, as we were getting an early flight in the morning, the receptionist asked us for our passports, we handed them over, but my niece did not have hers as she lived in Spain she did not think that she needed it, we were informed that all hotels in Spain required a passport as ID, my niece has not received her resident card yet, the receptionist Dianne went out of her way to register my niece, and in the end did so, Bravo.
We then went to the room which was very clean and Bijou, The lock on the toilet door got stuck and the air-con did not work properly, we reported same.
We then went into Alicante for the rest of the day and returned early to the hotel to get something to eat and retire early for the early rise we had to make to catch our flight, taxi's booked and off to eat, we had to go to the main Ibis hotel which is situated next door, only one waitress working in a very busy restaurant at around six in the evening. The food and service we received was excellent, Bravo.
We then retired, the room was very hot and the air-con could not cope obviously the hotel could not of done anything about it, but no worry, the visit to this hotel was very good and is excellent for an overnight stay for those early flights from Alicante airport, the taxi ride is only 13 euro per cab.
