Shower stinks of like sleeping in a portaloo.two thin towels, two thin pillows.just a sheet on the bed.Aircon useless.Notice on mirror, can get a razor from reception, answer no.If you need reception,no phone.only place to sit on the bed.

We arrived at this hotel at midday and were informed in a very pleasant manner that we were too early to book in, but the receptionist Dianne proceeded to find us a room that we had booked and had been cleaned early, and she did. My niece who was with us , who lives and works in Murcia not far from Alicante decided to stay over with us, as we were getting an early flight in the morning, the receptionist asked us for our passports, we handed them over, but my niece did not have hers as she lived in Spain she did not think that she needed it, we were informed that all hotels in Spain required a passport as ID, my niece has not received her resident card yet, the receptionist Dianne went out of her way to register my niece, and in the end did so, Bravo. We then went to the room which was very clean and Bijou, The lock on the toilet door got stuck and the air-con did not work properly, we reported same. We then went into Alicante for the rest of the day and returned early to the hotel to get something to eat and retire early for the early rise we had to make to catch our flight, taxi's booked and off to eat, we had to go to the main Ibis hotel which is situated next door, only one waitress working in a very busy restaurant at around six in the evening. The food and service we received was excellent, Bravo. We then retired, the room was very hot and the air-con could not cope obviously the hotel could not of done anything about it, but no worry, the visit to this hotel was very good and is excellent for an overnight stay for those early flights from Alicante airport, the taxi ride is only 13 euro per cab.

Very well run budget hotel and perfect for a one night stay near the airport. Weird bus system for Airport however as you have to get the bus (C6) going the opposite way into Alacante as does not stop on the Airport side of the road. So free sight seeing tour of Alacante for 20mins before heading to the airport.

On arrival at Ibis Budget we found the room was not suitable for an 8 night stay that we booked. But it was no problem, we asked at reception if we could move into the Ibis Hotel. Strait away we were given a lovely comfortable room with a sea view. This Hotel is very well managed and all the staff are so pleasant and helpful. We would like to bring to the attention of the management of the two receptionist`s ANA and ALECIA who were so kind and helpful to us after having our bag and belongings stolen while on the Beach. We were so grateful for all there help and support, THANKYOU BOTH they need to be commended. We will certainly stay here again. Mr & Mrs Brian Corder.

Small but clean room. No amenities within walking distance and hotel bar had run out of burgers and potatoes. Airport bus did not stop at hotel as we thought. We were not picking our car up until the next day and had a late arrival time we would have been better to have stayed in the city.

Excellent budget rooms, clean & with helpful staff. Good breakfast. Only criticism would be that reception for standard & budget Ibis are in same place, but you don't find this out until you have made your way to the Budget Ibis reception area.

This hotel proves that you get what you pay for. The location, about 15 minutes from the airport, is on the main road into Alicante, and looks like an industrial estate. The rooms are basic, but spotless. The bar and breakfast room are poor, although we sat outside by the carpark for drinks, and didn't have breakfast. Perfect for arriving by Ryanair, when you land at 9.00PM.

Just enough we wanted for one night, arriving late at the airport. The location is quite close to Alicante airport, but you will still need a taxi to reach it. Breakfast was good for the price. The air conditioning was perfect. Our room was at ground floor, so a bit noisy, but not too much.

Room smelling terrible, not clean, insects in the room and toilet... Disappointing! It was better to pay more and get better quality. I'd been in ibis budget before but never got this bad impression!!!

We have stayed here a number of times before and it is a good hotel, reasonably price with secure free parking. The staff are friendly and efficient and the rooms are clean and functional. It is also very easy to find being on the coast road.

Just needed a place to crash. New interior rooms and cruise ship type bathroom. Separate shower and toilet. Sink in room. Small theft proof flat screen TV with channels in at least 5 languages. Hallways have cheap felt type carpeting. Doors use number code. The hotel was FULL and we found the clients to be surprisingly quiet. Ibis sister hotel right next door with all night reception and restaurant for meals. Easy parking if hotel not full or plenty of street parking if it is. Too far to walk to town from here but there is a bus to airport and town with a schedule . Taxi will probably be 8E or so to town. There is nothing else around here except two more hotels and the British school. If you go into town with your car there is blue space at beach or the undergrounds near marina/ casino/ tons of restaurants and cafés in front of Meliá hotel are under 3E/hour.

We have previously been very satisfied with Ibis budget hotels, but since they have changed their mattresses I doubt that we will stay there again. They were hard and unyielding, and a good night's sleep was impossible. Also our travelling companions had a room with two single beds which were to quote their words " too narrow to turn over in, without falling out" Also breakfast is now served in the main Ibis Hotel, which is extremely inconvenient, especially as the Ibis charges 7.50. Admittedly we could have paid the budget hotel rate, but we were given strict instructions as to what this would have entitled us to. We felt like the poor relations. Never again.

Great place to stay on a budget. There's a good transport network over the road to take you to the city (or it's a 10Euro taxi). Staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The place would benefit from a restaurant serving fresh food in the day, or more local amenities, but was comfortable and only a short distance from the action

Regular Ibis budget quality, with clean and well maintained rooms. Parking and restaurant shared with neighboring Ibis. Everything you need for a short stay at unbeatable rates. Unfortunately, as very often encountered in Spanish hotels, the air ventilation system (showers, toilets) runs all the time, which might be disturbing people sensitive to background noises.

The hotel is very clean and the staff helpful. The location is far from downtown so a car is needed to reach it (there is big parking lot). Alternatively, there is a bus stop just by the hotel or the taxi option, but we didn't try these. The price is really convenient. In summary, a basic service for a very low price, it worked very well for us (a couple) staying only one night.

For one night it was perfect - cheap and close to the airport of Alicante. The rooms were simple but clean and modern. They were not very well isolated from the hallway , we were woken up several times by other guests who arrived very late/early.

An excellent budget hotel midway between the city of Alicante and the airport. While the room was basic it was comfortable having the benefit of an en suite shower room and toilet. We would definitely consider this hotel again if we were travelling to Alicante.
