The hotel is in a not too smart place a bit depressing .I have used Ibis budget hotels before .They seem to have uncomfortable beds but seem not to take much notice when this is brought up in reviews and I am going back a few years when this has been brought up by many people. The room was great nice and clean .The shower was great just the bed let it down.

Location is in a shopping center outside the city center. It is very convenient if you have a car. There are restaurants, coffee shop, movie theater, etc in the center. The hotel is located on the city bus route also.

This was the worst experience I have ever had. The shower and sink was in the bedroom which I was not aware of. I was sharing with my 17yr old son as he was attending a dance event. Each time we had a shower we had to take turns leaving the room. I wouldn't mind if the price reflects this it didn't, I paid 418.00 euro for 4 nights, 2 nights the fire alarm went off before 6am and everybody was evacuated on the Sunday morning OK these things happen, then the Monday morning it went off at the same time, we were not evacuated but exhausted from 2 night desturbed sleep, this was not a hotel brake it was a disaster

Regret to have NOT being alerted that the hotel was completely booked with kids participating in the UDO Street World 2017 and their parents, the hotel was a complete mess, almost impossible to be in it. Arrived with my wife and checked in on Wed 23 August, which was ok and we were not all day at the hotel, on Thursday we walk up early and were not at the hotel during all day but on Friday 25 August breakfast was caos, and I tell I have being at busy hotels, but this oh my god, unbelievable and the worst the was NOONE, NOONE responsible from the hotel to put order, kids running around and their parents lacking to put things in order and control, we had to leave the hotel to go and have a quite and silent breakfast at the Costa Café at the Odeon Cinema complex right next to the hotel. I complain later in the day and was given the answer that it the morning breakfast that day was something the kids and parents decided at last minute. I am positive that other people complain too. Saturday 26 August was OK, one of the supervisors told me that they had spoken with the responsible of the tour and thing were settled; what I stress was that there was NO one form the hotel controlling the situation. The last day we stayed was Sunday 26 August and due to some irresponsible guest that smoked inside the room the fire alarm went on close to 6 AM and it kept on form about 15 minutes even the fire department was present, but it ruined our day, why did they kept the alarm for so long? hope do not have to experience this again, IBIS Management should take care to emphasize training of their staff when handling large assistance of kids and have staff that can control the situation,

I was really pleasantly surprised by the hotel. Firstly 'limited parking' is not true, there is a multi-storey carpark with ample free parking. We almost had a floor to ourselves. The outside is not much to look at to be expected for a budget hotel. Walking in, it felt like a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. The staff were approachable and friendly and it didn't feel forced at all. There was a kind of high class European hostel feel about it which I really liked. The only downside were the loud people next door who had a full blown debate until very late at night, we probably could have got them to stop so I can't really complain. That said I suppose the walls are kind of thin, although apart from these people I didn't really hear much else and had a great sleep. I can't imagine anyone complaining of noise from outside the hotel at all, a very quiet neighbourhood. Very comfy bed and very clean throughout. Great location for food and a walkable distance from town.

Beds comfy 😊 Room very basic. Shower cubicle in room like showering in a caravan but had good power. Lack of plug points too far from mirrors to dry hair . Ok for one nite but wouldn't stay longer. Breakfast a rip off @ £4.95 for continental nothing hot cooked and you have to pay extra £1.50 for tea or coffee! Cheaper at greggs across the rd!

No problem, good condition. Like on the pictures! It's a little bit far from the downtown, but if you can catch the metro you can be there in 15 minutes. There is a lot of restaurants around the Hotel and there is a burger king also.

We stayed here (3 adults) for a gig at the Hydro. Very basic (no tea/coffee/hairdryer)but you get what you pay for! Room was clean. Location good. Went across the car park to Frankie and Benny's for a breakfast. Did the job

We are loyal customer and we were. always satisfied but In Glasgow we were not at all we arrived at 12:10 and They charge us 10 pounds for early chek In and the room was ready The personal not friendly at all We Check out at 5:30 am

Room was clean and beds were really comfortable. Reception staff helpful and friendly. Indicated on line that I would be arriving after 12 (as opposed to after 3pm) however, wasn't able to book in until 2pm.

Used this property a few times now when I need an ovenight stay in this part of Glasgow. Clean & tidy. Easy check in/out process. Close by to various types of eating places. Never any issues with parking & easy access to motorway links.

Did exactly what we expected in a budget hotel. Location perfect. Only prob is our door key did not work when we came back at the end of the evening so had to get re programmed again and we required this for lift to go to floor the rooms is on.

The room is quite small and basic with the shower and washbasin in the bedroom which was fine for me and my husband. Room cleaning was a bit and miss ...on one day we were missed and sadly reception only had one clean towel so was pleased i had bought my own. Likewise breakfast was ok when there was food. As we did not want breakfast every day, we paid when we needed it. But having paid it was disappointing to find there were missing basics.... no coffee, milk, yoghurt, bread, knives, ham, cheese, spoons, orange juice ,plates or Danish pastries . Yes, they were all eventually replenished but in the busy breakfast area you felt that you had to grab what you could as soon as it appeared otherwise it was a 10-15 minute wait

Can't complain. It was basic but spotlessly clean. Breakfast was so awful looking we had to pass on that even though we had paid. Wouldn't stay again. But it was clean, basic and comfortable. Bed pillows to big and hard but can't complain at £22 a person!

I understand that it's a budget hotel and as such can only apply so many resources to tasks like cleaning. That said, it speaks volumes of the clientele the hotel must get and the diligence in the cleaning that one of the walls just above the bed was peppered with what was undoubtedly flicked snots.

Stayed at this hotel many times..An ideal place to start any visit to Glasgow. Close to the SECC and a short walk to the city. The site offers restuarants.a casino and a Cinema. The hotel breakfast has improved greatly.

We were able to check in early which was great. But as a result we got the only room that was avaliable which happened to be a disabled access room. Which meant the bathroom was a wet room that was in need of a freshening up. Other than that cant complain.

good value, service was good. Lots of other services nearby, cinema, bowling alley, good choice of restaurants from casual dining, Chinese, pizzas and fast food outlet. A car would probably be handy if you are staying here.

Fantastic staff, pretty basic rooms. Other hotels charge the same but offer more. Ie; hairdryers, pillow varieties, shower gels, more towels. Overall good stay though for z budget hotel. The continental breakfast is good too

The bed was broken sheets were what looked like all blood! Would not stay here again if I got paid to!!!! I had a 3 year old with me and was scared to let him touch anything only good thing about the hotel was the manager giving my son some free oreos!
