As always we stayed at this hotel. The room was quiet, bed comfortable. Dinner service seemed a little irratic this time but probably new staff trying to find their feet. Food was as good as usual. Will stay again.

We always overnight here going to and returning from a UK visit. The beds are very comfortable and the rooms are clean and of a reasonable size. We have stopped eating at the restaurant since the menus were cut back. If you like burgers it’s fine. The CRS presence has changed the atmosphere of the hotel but there are now fewer large guns on display in the bar.

I regularly stop over night on my trips down to Chantilly. The service is always fast, friendly and efficient. Ideal location next to the tunnel and good value for money. Would recommend for anyone looking for a stopover near Calais

I always stay at this hotel when returning to the UK from our holiday house in France. It is always a seamless process with an easy check-in and check-out. The rooms are spotless and the staff are friendly and obliging. This last stay was more special than usual because I was given a woman’s only room which had an array of little niceties such as a tea/coffee tray, slippers and toiletries , and the room was decorated with a definite feminine touch. The rooms are value for money anyway but just having them go this extra mile for my stay made a huge difference . Highly recommended for a stopover en-route.

Always made to feel welcome. We have stayed here so many times we are recognised as we enter the door. The staff are always cheerful and helpful. We have stayed at other hotels in the area and none match up to this one in value for money..

Excellent location for starting trips to France after travelling through the Tunnel. Friendly, comfortable and great staff. Definitely one of my favourite Ibis hotels, if not the best. Thank you. It is the way we prefer to start and end our holidays in France with a good night's rest before and after the long drives to the Soane.

I have stayed many many times at this hotel but its past its sell by date. My room was poor rain coming in around the frame. The bath rooms are poor. The food is costly but sadly not good value - no real French food. There is only one good thing about this hotel - the staff. They are always very welcoming and full of life.

This is an Ibis hotel so one doesn't expect the world. plus sides: the bed is very comfortable, the shower is large, the staff friendly, the police use this hotel as a base for policing the tunnel & port so the car park is secure, the restaurant stays open late. Minus sides: the heating like all Ibis hôtels is luke warm, you have to go to reception to ask for a second towel, the food is pre-packed and boring, the floor of the restaurant was really sticky in the evening & at breakfast had still not been washed. If you are looking for a safe overnight stay while travelling this is a good stop.

This hotel is great for an overnight stay by the channel tunnel. The room is comfortable, the parking is secure and the location is perfect for the tunnel, fuel for the car, and food court and shopping in the large mall. Everything is 5 star except.... The problem with our last stay on 22 December was the email message telling me that I had authorised a 40 euro payment on my credit card when I checked in online the day before, after having paid in full 4 months earlier. On contacting customer service I was told very firmly that the charge was for a modified booking. The agent refused to change her story although I insisted that I had never modified my booking - only checked in. The actual outcome was that IBIS had blocked my card against the possibility of extra charges for meals etc.. This is totally different from the e-mail and telephone advice given. Please IBIS do not ruin your service by sending out stupid e-mails and PLEASE make it clear on line that you want a client to agree to a blocking of his card for possible charges. YOU CANNOT say a client has authorised such an action if you have NOT ASKED him/her!!!! Please change this very poor practice for online check in. The 3 star service reflects the problem with Accor which was 1 star and the hotel service which was 5 star.
