Checked in, given room 601, it absolutely stank of smoke even though it was a non smoking room. Complained and was given rooom 523 which had not been cleaned properly. The corridor outside the room and especially in front of the lift was covered in rubbish and broken glass. Complained and the receptionist came upstairs and had to vacuum the carpets. This was at 7.30 pm when cleaning should have been completed. There was no remote control for the tv so had to collect one from reception. A very forgettable experience except for the Breakfast which was excellent.
There are three Ibises around the CDG airport, and the staff of one is unable to provide directions to another (mine required a bus ride - why would the staff of the one outside the airport be unable to direct guests to the bus stop?) Searching for the hotel on google, I find a price of $55 advertised on numerous websites. I had booked with Ibis directly for 90 Euro. I brought this to the check-in clerk's attention but she was unwilling to adjust my tab or even offer me a free breakfast for which they charge 10 euro...poor service recovery. There was a bar in the lobby, but it was staffed by the desk clerks so of course it was terrible service. The room itself is acceptable for a night by the airport...once you run the gauntlet of indifferent service.
Everything went well. Fine location and close to two family restaurants. Beds were comfortable and front desk staff were friendly and professional. No complaints about my stay and I would return in the future.
Was here for the second time. Basic, but very nicely arranged, not far from the exhibition center Parc des Expositions, which was my purpose of choosing this hotel. I came by car, and could use the garage at level -1, secure and safe, with elevator directly into the hotel. Breakfast was nicely and ok. Some grill restaurants close to the hotel for a good lunch. Close to the airport with shuttle service.
I was staying in this hotel for one night before my flight next early morning. Very clean, comfortable bed and free shuttle. Staff is very helpful. Everything was nice and on time. Only short bus drive to CDG ;
Stayed here before our flights to Nashville, most important thing was the bed, so comfortable. Car is left there in the underground car park, free shuttle to large shopping mall and airport. Very friendly staff, will use next time.
Terrible experience. My objective was to book a room on the airport area and the web site didin't informed were I was booking the room which was not close to the airport. Couldnt find the hotel, needed to look for other other and was charged for the reservation. Don't recommend.
Service was ok... Room was clean Breakfast looked reduced from previous visit.. no boiled eggs this time also salad items like tomato's missing.. Overall I was reasonably satisfied with the stay and will come again
Very difficult to find using Google Maps. Staff very friendly and helpful both at the wrong Ibis and this one when we arrived very late. Room larger than I expected which was great - very comfortable and despite being on the flight path was not noisy. Good shower, plenty of choioce for breakfast and excellent parking facilities and shuttle to airport
Shuttle service to the airport, makes it easy to go and have a rest, if you have a long waiting time at the airport. Mine was 10 hours, so I went and had a good rest instead of spending the money on the airport.
exactly what we expected for one night with safe parking before our flight to Thailand We could leave our car there for 16 days for a very goooood price room was modern and quite enough comfortable for a night
With enough space in the room, a nice shower, a quiet location near to food outlets, fast check-in/checkout and a regular, reliable shuttle to and from the airport, this hotel represents excellent value for money.
This Ibis is a new facility and isn't tired like others we've stayed in before, though to be fair, the chain has undergone a major re-organization and renovations. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are closet-like (reminiscent of train bathrooms) but we are familiar with this arrangement and are happy to save a few euros. We liked the fact that the hotel is a few feet away from the Courtepaille restaurant (good, simple and not too expensive chain that is open till 11 PM) and that the parking is safely underground, at 10 euros per night. The hotel staff was very helpful in various small ways. The only drawback is that this and three other new hotels, though situated in the Charles de Gaulle airport ambit, are located on the other side of the autoroute. When we ventured to get a gas fill-up in the evening before returning the rented car the next day, we had a heck of a time coming back to the hotel even with our GPS (which was probably not properly updated, mea culpa) so we suggest you use the Latitude/Longitude data which the Ibis website provides. Overall, we like Ibis because it's predictable and reasonably priced. We find that France has many such hotel chains that are easy on the pocketbook if luxury isn't essential to your travels.
If your objective is to have a stopping-off point on your way to or from CDG airport, it's a good place. There is a free airport shuttle. But it's really nowhere and, in my opinion, should have the word "Paris" dropped from its name. The only thing around it (other than more hotels) is a mediocre restaurant staffed by affable-yet-unhelpful people. That said, this hotel is typical ibis -- clean spaces and rooms, laid out well, etc.
Adequate....but..... ...dreadful location, but close to the terminal at Paris CDG Airpot I needed to be at early the following morning to collect my wife. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Biggest gripe was having to pay €8 for car parking despite the inference in the hotel site info that it was for free....didn't specify which in my view it should have.
Good place to sleep prior to an overseas flight. But don't expect more than one towel per person and don't seek out facial tissues; none. These two small amenities would greatly improve the stay. Front desk staff could not have been more helpful; from printing out boarding passes to getting a cork screw, the staff was very accommodating.
Stayed at hotel for one night due to airport strikes. Location was good as only being about 4km from CDG. When I checked in I was told that the hotel had a shuttle service to/from CDG, so no problem in getting on to airport. However when I came to check out in the morning at 4am I was told there was no shuttle service until 5:15am. I ask if they could call a taxi instead and the answer was No, as the hotel was not in Paris (I did not understand this). Because of this I had to walk to the other hotels located nearby and see if I could get a lift to CDG with them, luckily I managed to share a car with some Chinese people going to CDG, otherwise I don't know what I was going to do! The hotel should consider that people staying at their hotel may need to catch early morning flights and therefore should have an arrangement or setup in place i.e. shuttles or taxis for their customers to get to the airport without having to walk around in the dark and try to hitch a lift with other more organised hotels nearby!! Another little point, there is no restaurant at the hotel, only food available is in the bar and is straight out of a microwave, but still at restaurant prices!! I will not be stopping at this hotel again if having an early start or hungry!
Very comfortable and surprisingly spacious room. Free shuttle to and from airport/station. Great breakfast. Quiet location, had a great sleep in comfortable bed pre-flight. Only downside was a couple arguing in adjacent room (but they ceased about 10pm).
