Located a few minutes walk from Marienplatz U-Bahn Station making the city, airport & Hauptbahnhof easily accessible. Team were very helpful & friendly. Room was a decent size. Mine was city facing & was quiet too. Would stay again. Lift available & English spoken if required.

This is one of the nicer Ibises I've stayed at. The room was a standard Ibis room with shower/toilet module but perfectly ok. My only grumble is there were no power sockets beside the bed, but I always travel with a charger with a long lead for just this eventuality, so not a big deal. The breakfast buffet had the biggest choice I've ever seen at an Ibis. Location is excellent, with the U-bahn a few steps away. I would definitely stay here again.

I asked for a room on the highest floor with view and my requirement was kindly fulfilled! The room was perfect on the 4th floor with great view in Marienplatz, warm, with comfortable bed, nice bathroom, perfect breakfast with waffel maker! Great position near the city center.

Spent three nights in the hotel on a recent visit to Stuttgart. There are many positives for this hotel. It is easily accessible from the airport. Using the train services I was in the hotel in approximately half an hour from the airport with only one change. In terms on city location the hotel is within easy walking distance to the main shopping areas and Schlossplatz. The hotel is also ideally located for U-Bahm and bus services on Marienplatz. The hotel is in excellent condition and the staff welcoming and friendly. My room was possibly one of the smallest I've stayed in at an Ibis hotel, but it was clean and quiet. The bathroom is a built in pod configuration which has a slight step up in to but otherwise couldn't fault it. Plenty of hot water and good pressure. Facilities are limited but that's to be expected when staying at Ibis hotels. Flat screen tv had plenty of channels but only a couple of channels for English speakers and these were news channels. Not ideal if you like to chill with some tv after a day of touristing but not the end of the world. My room faced in to the rear of the hotel and overlooked offices which was good because the roads around Marienplatz can be quite busy and on my stay there was a lot of sirens going around. The traffics noise is really only noticeable if you have the window open. That said early morning there was a bit of noise at the back which I presume was delivers being made to the neighbouring REWE supermarket at the end of the block. I always wake early so was aware of the noise but I'm not sure it would waken you. For me the biggest disappointment was the fact I couldn't regulate the room temperature to a comfortable level for any period of time. The air conditioning was pretty ineffective and trying to reduce the heating was equally ineffective. Opening the window worked for a time but leave it open too long and you end up at the opposite extreme. Generally the hotel was very warm and I wouldn't say it was that cold outside. I enjoyed a plentiful breakfast which is done in buffet style with plenty of choice and a really competitive price. I had also sought out local cafes and bakeries for breakfast and have to say for value and quality the hotel was the best. REWE store is ideal for most everyday needs and is open late.

It is what it says on the tin. Its a budget hotel to a good standard with all the facilities you need for a short stay. Well connected via UBahn but a 20 mins walk into the city centre. Although in a main square it is still peacefull and we got a good nights sleep.

This hotel is a steady 20 minute stroll from the city centre (and the excellent Christmas Market) and easy to reach from the airport via the regular S Bahn and U Bahn routes - it took us 40 minutes from passport control to checking in at the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful, especially when trying to print out our return boarding passes. Breakfasts are very good although the breakfast room is a trifle small at 'peak' hours - avoid meeting there on the hour! With the U Bhan literally 50 metres away it was easy to visit the other sites of the area - Mercedes and Porsche museums, art gallery and the excellent Christmas Markets at Ludwigsburg and Esslingen - well worth visiting. The rooms are standard Ibis fare - comfortable beds and sufficient room for a couple not too feel crowded.

A group of us stayed at the hotel, very pleasant stay, rooms clean and functional, staff members very friendly and always happy to help and give advice about the city. We all felt welcome and relaxed.

Old hotel and un clean ,cleaning service is bad , The reception does not respond to the complaint that the rooms are not cleaned There is no cleaning after 12:00Far from the center and there is no security on the door where the door is open and people enter from outside

Some of the staff are fantastic, one was less than helpful when trying to get early access to a room for 1 couple in our party who flew in the same day for a wedding that was starting at 12:00 and we had a hard job to negotiate early entry yet there were open doors to rooms on our floor, all of which had been cleaned. in addition a purse was handed into reception by a taxi co. clearly lost by a named guest and if one of our party had not spotted it on the desk a day later, we are not sure when it would have been returned. No effort was made to contact the guest who was without money and credit cards as well as the room key.

The hotel is in a real good location just at the corner of Marilenplatz. Good tube and tram connection. The main hall and the drink area are facing MarilenPlatz but you cannot see it. Not Good.My room at the 4floor goos an amazing view to the plaza and a good sunrise every morning. Hotel is clean and the cleaners also are very friendly.

great value for money. city centre location. There was a moulde exhibition going on in Stuttgart and all hotels were booked, so the price was probably a bit too high for the usual. Nevertheless location is great. Fantastic atmosphere in the evening in Marienplatz.

It was a good hotel to stay in for 2 night for business trip. Room is quite comfortable. It has everything according to 2*. It has nice location and located near the square with the nice pizza restaurant and ice cream shop. It has very good underground parking in the building which has I think acceptable price comparing to the rest Stuttgart. I think the weakness of the hotel are thin walls. Noise insulation is quite poor. We have heard everything what was happening in the room next to ours. So would not recommend for people who are sensitive to have a sleep in silence. In the rest hotel is nice and see it as good value for money.

Value for many without anything exceptional. If you know Ibis, same than any other city. The hotel is a bit difficult to find from the square. The logo of Ibis is quite low and the trees cover it. I would recommend to rise it to the top.

A centrally located with a nice plaza around it and where the U-Bahn, buses, trams & taxis are freely available. Very convenient for my visits to the Mercedes-Benz and Porsche Organisations. Very friendly, courteous and helpful staff.

it's a 2-star hotel but I would give it more like 4-star, very clean and in a great location, fairly close to the city center. The staff is very helpful. the u-bahn station is very close and basically you can get anywhere in the city from there.

Excellent location to visit Stuttgart. Quiet, Metro in front of the hotel . Standard , but excellent IBIS type rooms.very good bed. excellent Parking facility. Like the easy pre- check-in en check out., so no waiting time at the reception

It was very nice to stay in yr hotel. It is my second time in Ibis Stuttgart Centrum. If i will plan a visit to Stuttgart, i will stay in yr hotel fr sure. Thank you fr yr hospitality that you shown to me during my stay.

A nice clean and well organised hotel in the standard Ibis format. Very close to both U-trains and the over ground Zacke to the top of the hill. Just a fed stops from city centre station and market squares. Enjoyed the trip and hotel.

We regularly stay at Ibis hotels and this is probably the one we've liked the least. Pros: - Only a couple of stops on the U to the historic centre (stop in the square outside the hotel) - Pretty comfortable bed Cons: - Breakfast room seating for 40... at the weekend there were 120 people in the hotel. People were sitting in the bar and even in the computer corner. We couldn't find anywhere to sit and, by the time there were seats the breakfast room was near closing and most of the food was gone. - Cleaning - a glass taken up to the room was only cleared away two days later. A glass used in the bathroom was never replaced with a clean one. - Cleaning - Normally hotels change the sheets after three nights we stayed for six nights and the bed wasn't changed.

We were a group of ladies visiting the Christmas markets and had a great stay. Hotel is well situated just over the road from the underground and only two stops from the Town Hall, or 20 minutes walk from the town centre. Despite being on the corner of two busy roads the rooms were quiet. Only slight downside is the size of the breakfast room which quickly fills up during the busy times. The food was good and was continually replenished. We all enjoyed the waffle maker! Would certainly consider using the hotel again if in Stuttgart. It is not 5 star but very good for the price we paid.
