Clean, comfortable, everything works. Lighting not bad for working. In hotel restaurant good enough. Good staff. All I wanted. Some signs of age, ( not that it's old, but gets a lot of use. ) but well kept up. I'll probably stay there again.
The air in vent was cool but was stuck in thing vent opening so the only cold air stayed in duct work but it needed to be blown to room to cool it! So A/C guy pay attention change all the vents throughout the whole hotel and you will have nice cool hotel!
We stayed for one night to catch our flight the next morning. I've never seen such a stained blanket, long black hair on the floor and saggy mattress. The Hotel as well as the room were old and run-down, except the reception and food area. The communication was mediocre, E-Mails beforehand didn't get answered (questions to traveling with an infant) and the receptionists barely spoke English (e.g. to ask for shuttle times to the airport). All in all, we were glad to check out and won't recommend this hotel to anyone. It could use some thorough renovations and cleaning.
The staff is great. Having said that, the property is dated and in poor shape. Bathroom was a bit dirty, and only 1 towel for a 2 bedroom room. The room was extremely small, the window was dirty, and floor's linoleum had bubbled. Only hand soap is provided and no shampoo. I have stayed at Ibis Hotels in Brazil (Sao Paulo, Belo Horizonte, and Dourados), and I thought this one in Mexico would be similar, but NOPE. There is also no sound barrier and any conversation on the hallway is audible.
I have used your hotel in two different cities of Mexico and overall everything was great... one thing I notice a couple of years ago in Aguascalientes that I had to get out of the Hotel some time about 6 AM and when I requested coffee I was told the kitchen was closed, In Monterrey was on coffee in the room or the lobby, this time it was later than that and I was able to purchase it in the buffet area.
This is a very good hotel at a very reasonable price very close to the airport with transportation available. The breakfast in the morning was great the parking is safe the rooms are clean and the staff was very friendly and helpful. They also accept pets and it was a small charge of 200 pesos about $12 us very reasonable. They even gave the dog a few doggie treats. It was a nice surprise to learn that they accepted dogs. Not many hotels in Mexico will let dogs stay. The rooms are small but adequate very European nice shower but a little small and the beds were a little small - but the price was super good if you purchase off the internet. And you can do that right in the lobby in front the front desk to get the best price. They even help you.
The halls were dirty (left over food and beer bottles as soon as you walked out the elevator). It smelled dirty. The room is descent. The room was clean but it did not have a hand towel or paper towels to dry face and hands. Overall, it cover its purpose: provide a roof to sleep under.
ibis' decent room, comfortable bed, not-bad shower, affordable breakfast..... but shuttle service ruined all of these things. I had waited over 30 mins after i called the hotel. Holiday inn & Crowne plaza shuttle guy picked us up instead of ibis shuttle. I truly thank to this holiday inn shuttle guy, he worried about our situation....we waited in front of MTY airport late at night over 11 pm. I f you want to use free shuttle service conveniently, Choose holiday inn or crowne plaza!
This place was dirty. We could not eat the breakfast. You should refund our breakfast cost. I would not recommend this place for anyone. The best thing about this place was the suttle service back to the airport.
Second visit within a few days and WORSE cleanliness ever. I work for 25 years in this industry but the maid service was so poor I can hardly describe it: after checkin in and realizing REALLY dirty sheets, I just asked the maid on the floor to change to avoid a big fuzz with Manager etc... She did NOT want to change the sheets FULL of LONG dark black hairs from whatever kind of woman!!!
worst hotel in years, dirty, filthy and ridiculous service, great location and good pricing but a complete ignorance of the service industry, just sleep and LEAVE, bathroom floods due to poor design, check sheets! twice changed due to hair, stains and....
Tiny room but clean and sufficient. My room 337 needs a new mirror (backing black) but fine for an overnite stop. Very quiet and great bed for a good night's sleep. Breakfast was advertised to begin at 6am but but buffet was delayed at least 40 minutes.
