A very nice and clean hotel, close to the center of Prague - a few minutes away from Wenceslas square and 15 mins from the main attractions of the old town. Good and diverse breakfast, good internet connection, got a room on the quiet side.
Room are smaller then other ibis hotels i was in. More like an ibis budget size. Also there isn't a fridge in the room like other red ibis i was in. The rooms where clean. The location is good. 3 minutes to the metro station and 10 minutes to Wenceslas Square.
An excellent location from which to enjoy the restaurants, shops, many historical sites and easily accessible to transport.Excellent value for miney and attentive staff make for an enjoyable stay. To be recommended.
Good budget hotel for a city break. Only downside is location for myself as I enjoyed the old town more than the new parts. Shower not very powerful either. Other than that, the hotel was clean and tidy.
hotel has a nice location, close to wenceslas square and from there in around 5min to old town. also close to metro and tram station. we got a room in the fifth floor with terrace and nice view to old town which we liked very very much. breakfast was quite good too, so was a nice stay.
We were really happy with the hotel room and service, and felt at home! Delicious breakfast served in the morning. Helpful and very friendly personnel, great location. If we wisit Prague again, we will chose the same hotel for sure!!
Friends and I booked this hotel thinking it was near the Wenceslas square as pictures and the name led us to believe. However, this hotel is not on the Wenceslas Square its about a 10-15 minute walk. The room was tiny and the beds were even smaller. There were no provisions in the room no kettle, no lockable safe or any other of the basic amenities you would expect in a 3 star hotel. The only thing that they did provide was shower gel which was the same as the hand soap. I would not recommend this hotel.
The staff were not as friendly or professional as expected, the room was more basic than expected for the price and the breakfasts were basic at best. A hot breakfast is more than scrambled egg, boiled egg and mini sausage. If you're going by car be warned, the entrance to the underground garage is very narrow so drivers of large cars beware. I will not be going to Prague again, and will thinking very hard before booking with Ibis.
It is a clean place, simple but fine for a short staying. It lacks in facilities in the bathroon: just a shower gel and hairdryer is not well working. Wifi works well and the place is quite and near a central tube station.
i scored the rooms poor because i asked for a room with two single beds (because i was sharing with a friend) and they gave me a room with two single beds pushed together!! there was no room to separate them due to the side tables !!! not impressed
Centrally located, 5 minutes from Wenceslas square. Hotel has its own garage shared with Novotel. Good breakfast, but íbis hotels are known for that. No surprises, you get exactly what you normally expect from na íbis.
stayed there for 6 nights, staff were friendly, cleaning staff were friendly, smiling and did a good job. very clean, basic, hotel. check in is, in my opinion too late at 2pm, considering the majority of flights arrive at Prague in the morning. BUT, that may very well be the norm in Prague. The bed, unfortunately was not comfortable and the pillow was too thin, small and far too soft (for me) the air conditioner, when switched on, blew out warm air, even on cold setting, the room was link an oven and i had to sleep with window open every night. WiFi was strong and reliable. shower was good, hot and pressure was fine. TV was ok, program selection was ok. location of Hotel is good, a 10 min walk into centre/tourist areas. overall, a good stay at the Ibis. would i stay again,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, maybe, but i would definetly shop around and compare others.
Reservation price was in Euros and the charge on the credit card was 4 Euros more. A correction is needed so correct values are presented to client. Price for 2 nights with breakfast reserving with ACCOR website was 40 Euros (for two nights) more than a colleague that reserved with an agency. Breakfast was limited and certain plates had finished during the two days. Taxi hotel is expensive with 450 CZK to go to Czech Technical University. I have already cancelled the next stay in June. Good restaurants and transports close by. Quiet room.
Usual I stay in Ibis Smichov as that location is better for business. But Ibis Smichov was fully booked so unfortunately I had to stay in Wenceslas. Thats why I spend some time in the famous Prague traffic jams to reach the hotel. But a good bed, a clean and quiet room is all I need for a short stay. Which Ibis Wenceslas provided as expected
The Ibis hotel gives a value at reasonable price: The room is cozy, bed is really good. Bathroom is spacy. For business travelers the location is convenient, easy access to dowtown and the metro station is nearby.
I really had good time in Prague and the hotel location it was perfect, Just a bit outside the old town and at the edge with the new town. Perfect location with good tram, tube and buses services. My time in the hotel it was perfect. Clean place with really good staff....The only bad thing is...the don't have any hot choc at the bar.... :)
We spend weekend in hotel, preserved standard ibis hotels. Despite several parking places it was not hard to park on Friday evening. Tasty breakfast. Nice service. It should work on the cobwebs in the rooms :)
I stayed 6 nights and everything was ok. The service was good, the staff not as friendly as in America, of course, but this is only a cultural difference and not a defect in itself. They booked me a taxi the last day to go to the airport and the paid price was also ok (590kc). Maybe the only observation worth making is that only looking at the reviews after my trip I found that in the sister hotel there was a restaurant service with a discount for theguests of the ibis hotel. There are plenty of restaurants arround (U Grafu just a short walking distance), but I would appreciate that some of this information is given at the check-in instead of finding it in the internet after the trip.
I chose this hotel due to its good location in Prague. The visit was not without its issues! Every night my room key didn't operate the lock to my room. Every night required two trips from my room to reception. I required 3 cards one night, and 2 nights I had to be let into my room by the night porter! Not really good enough. If the lock was faulty why didn't they move me to another room. I think I may not have been the only one! In addition the toilet flush got worse requiring 3 or flushes on the final morning for it to work. Couldn't fault the restaurant staff and a great Breakfast each morning. Also thought signage to the hotel was poor , usually a sign at most stations / tram stops. Staff spoke good English , fortunately given my very limited Czech!
This is your standard IBIS hotel, good quality, friendly staff and a great price. This is a perfect base for visiting Prague, rooms are always going to be small in any city centre at the price you pay, but it is clean and secure with good overall facilities - only improvement would be for tea and coffee to be available in the room (but this is a British thing)! Breakfast was very nice with a good selection.
