Clean, welcoming hotel in a good location with on-street parking for free. Basic room with comfortable bed and good bathroom. A selection of eating places by the railway station which is about 1km away.

Well located just minutes from ferry port, railway station and the old town of St Malo. The room was quite small but comfortable and the bathroom tiny. Breakfast was good, available from 6am, handy when your ferry leaves at 8am.

The only way to get the double bed in was to put it against the wall. The bathroom was like trying to take a shower in a coffin. The shower curtain was too short so the floor flooded, which was remarkable considering the water pressure. Room 314 - avoid it. Duvet was washed but stained.

This hotel is located close to both ferry port and local attractions and on routes out of the city. The rooms were clean and tidy and, even though there was a busy road close, by the soundproofing proved to be effective. The staff were very helpful and mannerly at all times.

Easy walking distance (10/15 minutes ) from the railway station, the ferry port and from the "intra-muros" (historical St Malo) Very welcoming staff and most of it, very clean hotel Nice continental breakfast (good value for money) Congratulation to the GM and the staff!

We stayed at the IBIS budget Saint-Malo the night before catching a ferry back to England. The Family room was brilliant and exactly what we needed, given that it had a bunk bed, large double bed and extra single bed too. Our daughter loved the bunk bed and we had no concerns about her falling out as the sides were high enough. The bathroom was good enough and the room and hotel had been given a lick of paint and some modernisation relatively recently. Effort had definitely been made in the reception and main public areas, with the rooms being lightly refurbished and the corridors possibly requiring a bit more tlc. Like a lot of Accor properties that I have stayed in previously it did have their traditional speckled plaster walls, which are just ugly. Even though we were near a main road the noise wasn't too bad. There is free off street car parking behind the hotel (limited spaces) and also the opportunity to pay for a secure underground car park. The Hotel is by the Hospital and relatively near the new centre, the walled city is approximately 20-25 minutes walk away. This walk is via main roads and the working harbour so isn't too pretty, but not too much of a problem. My only complaint was that the room was a little too warm, of course it we were staying in a week where it had been unbelievably hot, however on the night we stayed it was in the late teens / early twenties. The hotel is of course a budget hotel so I can't complain and will next time ask for a fan. The Hotel is very close to the ferry terminal too which meant you could have a nice leisurely breakfast and drive to the port in time for check-in. We would definitely stay again in the establishment, especially because of the family room.

The hotel is very convenient for when Condor Ferries think its fine to get you to a foreign port at 10pm. Its very clean, quiet and the staff are very helpful. There is a very good parking garage adjacent to the hotel for 6€ a night.

We have stayed in this hotel before and always found the rooms to be of a good size, unfortunately this time the room 212 was very small. And we will stay again but hopefully in a normal size room. The hotel is very near the ferry port.

worth a visit and a pleasant place to stay for a short trip. Close to ferry back to UK, and not far to walk to shops or walled town. plenty of choice at breakfast, TV in rooms and free WiFi. well worth a visit.

The new style hotel of just the basics, but not less than that, Minimal toiletries/towels, space, but good enough for sure. About 2 km from the walled town part of Saint Malo, so a 20-30 minute walk there, so on the border of that with the modern semi industrial zones that lack charm and interest, but the walk is fineanyway, at least when not raining. Outdoor parking on site a bit dodgy but no real problem. Breakfast the usual wonderful French continental, tho coffee from machine, but it was great anyway. Helpful staff. 24 hour presence. Small clean modern room. Very attractive price for that area, explained by location and amenities. Very happy about that. This new-to-us business model of bare bones places which are clean and inexpensive looks like a big winner for people like us.

The bunk bed was easy to make as the sheet is already fitted and the duvet and pillow just need to be taken out of the bag. No need to make a bed on the top bunk, which is a pain when you arrive tired. Good breakfast. The only disappointment is the shower, which has no door or curtain and results in a very wet bathroom. I don't think that doorless showers are a good idea with children, although I am not sure when they are ever a good idea. Results in a very wet and, unless you are very careful, dirty floor.

We have stayed in this hotel before But the last 2 times we have been given room 214 and 314 these roome are very small Bed hard up against the wall Cramped bathroom (you have to climb over the loo to get to the shower You still pay the same amount for the small bedroom as you would forv a normal room We booked the hotel 4months before the date we stayed So If You Stay DO NOT have the rooms 114 214 or 314 NOT WORTH IF

This hotel is ideally situated close to the center and the ferries and the road nearby leads you out of the city quite easily. The rooms are well furnished and pleasant and even though situated at the side of the road they are quiet. The staff are always pleasant and helpful.

Booked a double room with shower having difficulty with over shower bath. In reality It was a single room with double bed up against outside wall so had to climb in from the bottom. The shower spewed water all over the bathroom floor as curtain inadequate. The family rooms in which we have stayed many times are much larger but have the disadvantage of the overhead third sleeping area which is just at the right height to brain you!!! We have both suffered from head banging in the past but you soon learn!!!!! Time to dispose of these Accor!! Breakfast adequate but quality has gone down since our last visit. On the up side very convenient for the ferry and a secure garage place is usually available.

Have stopped here a few times, ideal for brittany ferries crossing. Hotel clean and tidy, reception staff helpful. I think it represents value for money. My question always is, would l stay again, yes.

Comparing price, it was everything OK. There is peace next to hotel to leave your car. There is 20 minutes to walk to down-town by walking. Rooms are small but very clean and have everything what do you need for two days.

Amazing hotel. So much better than I expected! The room was large, the bathroom was large, there was a bathtub in my room. The staff was very friendly, there was always someone at the reception. Breakfast was really good. Well located. I would definetly stay there again. It was very nice and confortable.

Ok for overnight stay but parking a nightmare. Breakfast was excellent for the price. Rooms clean and fairly new but bed linen was marked and torn. We arrived late and left early which is really what this is ok for.

Simple hotel that gets everything right. Room is basic but it has everything you actually need to be comfortable - double bed, fast wifi (included), ensuite shower etc... ok, you don't get a trouser press or tea/coffee and a kettle in your room or tons of desk space... so if you really need to write loads of business documents or press your trousers, don't choose this hotel. But if you just want a nice bed and a really clean room, it is perfect. The room was really clean and of course had clean towels, soap etc. The petit-dejeuner breakfast is nice (continental) with croissants, orange juice, tea/coffee, bread and cereals etc. Hotel is very modern and the staff are very friendly and helpful. They all speak English and were able to give directions of shops nearby and how to get buses, taxis etc. For the price this hotel is excellent. It is a 20 minute walk from the port area where the walled city and the beach are, with bars and restaurants... or 8 euros by taxi. You can also take bus number 1. Really easy. The main centre of St Malo is nearby too. there is a Carrefour supermarket 5 minutes walk away.

Our goal was to have a visit to St. Malo and be on time for the ferry to Jersey. The centre of St. Malo 'intra muros' is easly walkable from this hotel (20 minutes walk). There is free (not guarded) parking space for your car and the place was quiet when we were in the hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful.
