Clean and comfortable, possibly could have been a little cleaner in certain areas but overall you got what you pay for. Would use again no issues, staff very friendly and polite. The breakfast was not worth what you were charged £4-99 would have been about right.

Love staying here, staff are attentive. beds are comfy and outside hotel is a supermarket, pub and gym/pool... breakfast is varied on a self service. It’s set just off the m18 close to M1 where you can access Sheffield and Doncaster...

We don't visit many hotels, but this one was very good for our 1 night stay. The staff were very friendly and helpful and very attentive. The food in the restaurant was not brilliant but not bad for hungry travellers. The noise of the boiler/heating droning away all night above our heads was more noisy than the traffic from outside. Although the MacDonalds take drive through orders was pretty noisy.

The hotel is situated by exit 1 on the M18 and is handy for Wickersley and Rotherham. The rooms are of a comfortable size and the en suite facilities are very good and spacious. I didn't use the bar and restaurant so can't comment. The staff are attentive and friendly.

We have used this IBIS several times in the past as it is very convenient for both travel and relatives living nearby but sadly this time we were slightly disappointed to find the room looking a bit tired and shabby. We stayed two nights and when returning to our room after the first night found that the beds had not been re made. The cups had been washed and replaced, thankfully but bed making and a little dusting or vacuuming wouldn't have gone amiss. This said the staff were friendly and the breakfast selection very good & so with a very reasonable price I suppose we shouldn't be too surprised. Next time I will take surface wipes and a duster - but I won't cart the vacuum with me!

Nice, clean comfortable rooms. Good value for money although I thought the breakfast was expensive. However there was a good selection of food. Could have had a better night's sleep as we were kept awake by the noise in the next room at 4am. But we have stayed here before and would not hesitate to return.

Polite helpful staff who made the effort to ensure my room was next to my friends. Eager to solve the problem I had with the heating (it needed turning on!) Great breakfast, really tasty sausages! Good choice of foods Clean room, appreciate the tea and coffee tray.

Lovely stay as usual. Clean and comfortable. All staff very helpful, especially Adam. Definitely recommend. Handy location, if it's your thing, macdonalds is opposite, and there is a nice carvery opposite too, which also serves other food.

Oh how standards have dropped in 2 years. Room smelled musty. The room was filthy, dust and dirt every where, carpet hadn't been hoovered for a very long time. Stay here again ..no. Stay at the Premier Inn up the road, better quality.

Very well run hotel by the General Manager. From arrival to departure excellent service from friendly efficient staff. I have stayed here regularly and always had a pleasant stay. Supermarket and garage close by which I found convenient.

I frequently use this hotel, once a month in fact. on my last trip I was greeted by a very rude old female staff member. She was doing her paperwork on the front desk, I went and stood next to her and she kept ignoring me. As soon as I said I 'hi I would like to check in' she looked at me and called her Male colleague over and said help these people out. poor guy was serving someone else, he asked her if she could ..and then she replied to me oh you can't check in before 2pm. when I told her I had booked an early check in, then she said we have no rooms available (without checking the system). she just wasn't bothered. we had nowhere to go so we sat down and the male assistant, after he finished helping another customer sorted us a room out within 15 min. this attitude is pathetic and I suggest IBIS remove her from the front desk!

Have stayed beforecand would definitely stay again. Needed somewhere we coul have our cat with us and this fitted the bill. Owing to his presence we declined the breakfast option but had used that before and it is very good value.

I booked four rooms check in was seamless no problems at all. This hotel is perfect for our needs. The breakfast was nice and fresh. The bar area is comfortable with a tv and pool table 1£ a game though. This hotel is adjacent to the M18 so motorway access not a problem.

As Always the rooms are adequate and the beds comfortable. There was an issue with an ill fitting window in room 301, which meant that all the noise from the road and drive through Macdonald's very loud

We think that tomatoes and mushrooms should be replaced on the breakfast menu not be replaced with very fatty hash brown. As someone who cannot eat fatty food the only choice I had on cooked breakfast was srcrambled eggs.

Stayed here for visiting an antique fair in Doncaster and The Caves in Nottingham, very convenient to motorways! Good budget hotel, everything was spotlessly clean and beds were comfy. Staff were very nice and most helpful.

Always a friendly welcome. Friendly and helpful staff. Room clean. Very conformtable bed. As a disabled person, my special needs are always accommodated (by prior notice). Very handy location for travel around the area.

As this hotel is in one of the most travelled to areas for me, I have plenty of opportunities to sample the competition - if I wanted to. The reality is that this hotel, and the staff who work in it offers me everything I want or need, so I am more than happy to keep coming back. Clean fresh rooms; good beds; good desk/light and wifi for working, sensible range of food at decent prices, and exemplary friendly service day or night. Very happy customer. Its even close to a cheap fuel station, McDonalds (not used but there) and a pub. Whats not to like!!

Got to the hotel after traveling from New Zealand, payed for early check in to be told "if you got early check in you can't because we were full last night and staff don't start till 10:00am" so if it's not guaranteed why take the money off you !!!!!!!
