Staff are always nice when I've stayed, room was in a quieter location so that was nice. Towels were not as clean as they should be, had to ask for tea bags as there were not enough for more than one cup, parking was rubbish. I understand it as busy but vans are allowed to park across a number of spaces with trailers and that is not acceptable to those who just want a space. The alternative was to park in an adjacent car park, well if your vehicle is that big then they should park in the other car park which is not the hotels but it's free! As I was told. Breakfast is good, always is. A few things need sorting out but it's always a decent stay.
We stayed at this hotel for two nights and found it excellent and value for money, we found we had the breakfast included in the room rate which was very filling----eat as much as you want filling !!!!, all so the Wifi was as good as ever, we have stay there before and will again.
Dusty room, poor bathroom, breakfast not great, noise at night, staff overworked and bedding didn't look clean. I chose ibis because it was close to my course venue and also because I had a good experience previously at ibis in Sheffield many year ago. Ibis Lincoln wa rather poor. Didn't sleep well due to noise and banging doors. The room was dusty and very basic. I understand it's a budget hotel but should cleaning be sacrificed...? It seems they had changed the bath into a shower but water quickly fills the floor. As for their £8.95 breakfast, simply appalling. Limited choice, the scrambled eggs didn't look right and the bread was did not taste good. I have provided a feedback to the hotel via their survey and hope they will improve things.
Stopped for one night following an event near Lincoln. Hotel is convenient to main roads. Room was clean and comfortable. Good hearty breakfast. Did not use the bar in the evening, but those who did certainly seemed to be enjoying themselves! Would use, again when in the area
Stayed here last year with my partner and several friends as we are artists exhibiting and demonstrating at a custom show which takes place every year. Staff were nice and the room was ok but needs a little tlc. The room we had was on the 1st floor (114) the hotel was quite noisy inside and outside. There was a very loud (fog horn) sound which we heard 3 or 4 times throughout the night and once as we were vacating the room. It sounded like air in the water pipes and was loud enough to wake me up so I didn't have a great nights sleep. I overheard another customer reporting this noise too and he was in (214). Over all the stay was ok and the price of the room is reasonable although I wish the prices for rooms were a bit cheaper for what you get, but yes I would stay again.
Comfortable room and hotel facilities good.Lift was temporarily out of order but otherwise good stay.Enjoyed breakfast .There was a good and varied selection.Helpers were ther if you had any problems with drinks machine etc.
Everything was clean and comfortable with good wifi reception. Staff were friendly and helpful but not intrusive. Excellent breakfast with a good choice and lovely coffee. Good value too. Room was clean and comfortable.
My husband and i were due to stay for one night at the Ibis Hotel Lincoln as was our son staying in Separate room. Unfortunately due to illness we all had to cancel at short notice.we explained the circumstances of the cancellation and each of the staff members were exceptionally helpful. It was such a pity though that we couldn't have a refund. Our son lost his full booking costs and we had to transfer to a later date. Beware of paying in advance this stops any refund
rooms well proportioned and airy with basic complimentary tea and coffee Good hot walk in shower excellent choices on breakfast We took our dog and this was the second time we have stayed here, easy and felt welcomes by staff including the dog night's sleep was good and little noise from other guests
we stayed for 3 nights and it was a perfect location for us, we had every thing we needed, the only down side was the second night, when we were awoken at 2.30 am by slamming doors that went on until 3.30 am. would suggest quieter closing doors!
Booked early check-in and that was sorted out really quickly. The room was nice and clean. The bed wasn't too comfy, but I think you just get use to your own bed at home!! Overall, I can't complain!! Would definitely stay again.
arrived quite late in the evening, the room was amazing, clean tidy and smelled fresh and clean, the bed was fantastic, so comfortable, the pillows were comfortable, breakfast was good, lots of options available. staff friendly and helpful. will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
Fantastic friendly, helpful staff. Clean, comfy rooms. Good breakfast. What else can you want from a hotel. We have stayed in several Ibis hotels including ones abroad and Ibis Lincoln is certainly one of the best. Thanks to everyone concerned.
Despite all their advertising stating you get the best price by booking direct on their website-this wasn't the case. Despite being a member they wouldn't give me members rate. When I complained-their reply was that I got a good rate and the difference is so slight. Felt belittled and patronised. I booked 3 rooms with them. With a growing family £7.50 is very significant to me.
We have stayed at the Ibis Hotel in Lincoln previously and have always found it a most pleasant experience. The rooms are spacious, clean and well equipped. The staff are very obliging and polite. Overall very good value for money. Thank you
Booking in was not organised Room had earplugs ready for noise Plug in sink smelled of sewage could not use it made me feel sick when trying to brush my teeth Continental breakfast was an embarrassment
As always a friendly welcome on arrival, room prepared on 3rd floor. Ear plugs are provided (a first for us!) but not required, we had the window ajar and were not disturbed in evening or early morning. As ever had to request additional towels over the hand and bath supplied by habit. Ordered continental breakfasts that were relaxed and plentiful - love the coffee. The room plumbing was a bit obtuse - refusing to provide a steady flow, and a replacement basin plug that didn't really fit. It's about 5 miles from central Lincoln - there is a poorly signed P&R on the north side (see website and follow SatNav) which may prove easier than expensive and limited city parking.
had a great deal staying at the Ibis Lincoln, clean, quiet hotel and friendly staff, the only noise was from the neighbouring pub as people were leaving. Good location, only 10 min drive to the city centre and just 2 mins from our friends who we were visiting.
I had a very enjoyable stay . The accomodation was very comfortable and very clean. Staff were very friendly and very attentive to the needs of hotel guests. The breakfast buffet was varied and generous and was well supplied with such food as was necessary so that no guest lacked anything.
The reception; Good, The room; Good, The heating; Good, Wi-Fi; Good, Bathroom; Good EXCEPT the smell emanating from the sink plug hole???? appalling had to leave plug in and a layer of water to stop the smell escaping?
