I have stayed here numerous times over the last few years. The standard has sometimes dropped slightly, this time the whole experience was excellent. The guys who work there are charming and helpful, the room was spotless, the breakfast good. I have already booked my next stay. I do not think that, for the money you can go wrong staying here.
Excellent value for money. Clean and comfortable room and pleasant staff. Well situated with pleasant walks along the canal from the door step to Saltaire. Close to railway line for trips into Bradford or Leeds. We would stay here again.
Clean but bare rooms. Good staff. Breakfast good value, big choice.Convenient for Bradford centre. Good casual style breakfast. Excellent wifi connections. Could do with a bigger car park! A double bed for a single room, very unusual but appreciated.
Having stayed several times it is always a pleasure to stay in a perfect location very close to the canal leading to Saltaire. I highly recommend this hotel in every way. Staff are so friendly and so welcoming and have never forgotten us when ever we return.
3 day stay. 1st room 211 , daughter and myself got bitten. Told staff. Moved to room 121 and was fine. But booking was for family room and a double and single was expected , as per previous visits. On arrival to 1st room, there was double and sofa bed. Sofa bed was very comfortable for daughter , age 12.. Was told by staff that whole Ibis group is changing all family rooms to double and sofa bed and getting rid of single beds. This is not a good idea as sofa beds are generally uncomfortable ! location of this hotel is ideal for visiting family but probably will have to look for another hotel after this poor stay, which is disappointing as have stayed here twice before. Its a shame standards have slipped in whole hotel. Telephone in room to contact reception has now also gone. !st room didn't have a spare toilet roll, had to go to reception to ask for one
We were so impressed with this hotel in May that we brought friends here to stay this time. Despite the rain on Sunday, we all managed a 10 mile walk interspersed with stops at the Potting Shed pub in Bingley (well worth a visit), the Saltaire bre tap (excellent) and finishing with a curry in the Shama just over the road from the hotel. Monday had a similar theme, great breakfast in the Ibis (best one we've had in an Ibis) then a 7 mile walk over Baildon moor, finishing with an incredible pint and lunch at the Hop in Saltaire. So if you like Beer, Curry & walking, with a very good hotel nearby to sleep it all off , I can't recommend it more highly.
Excellent hotel, very clean, hairdryer, coffee, tea and biscuits provided shampoo, towels and extra pillows in room with friendly staff, would definitely stay again. Certainly not a budget hoteL. Everything u want for a stay over. Restaurant next door, which serves good food. Well done Ibis, we had an enjoyable stay.
Enjoyed stay. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice well equipped room Good breakfast with helpful staff again. Good spot to enjoy lovely area and visit Saltaire mill and village. Hope to return quite soon as enjoyed our stay
Kindly given a canalside view room as requested, thank you. Usual good standard within room good comfy bed and plenty of space. Wish ibis would offer gluten free Sausages and bread to make the breakfast more available to me. Staff were very helpful and made vegetarian option. Will be going back to see family so looking to book again.
Great hotel, excellent location, friendly staff. Ideal location next to the canal for a nice evening stroll. The staff were happy to point out local points of interest. The rooms were clean but one of our windows would not open
All staff were very good and helpful. The room was pretty basic but comfortable - better noise insulation would have reduced the echos from the corridor as other people passed the room. Bed comfortable but a fridge in the room would have been helpful. Breakfast pretty good but somewhere to heat the croissants would have improved matters- they were a little rubbery. Finding the wonderful UNESCO site of Saltaire village a pleasant 10 minute walk along the Leeds Liverpool Canal was a real bonus. Will have no hesitation to go again and have a further look around the beautiful Dales.
Great room, the best bed I slept in all holiday.Lovely friendly staff. Brilliant price.Would definitely stay again when we are in the area. Ideally situated too, great placement for the world heritage site, also try Fannys PUB,lovely real ale,
Hotel, staff and location excellent. On the banks of the canal with lovely walks in either direction. Only 5 minutes to Saltaire along the canal. Great value stay. Will use this hotel again. Huge free car park.
Very close to canal so good for walking or cycling along the Leeds Liverpool canal to explore the local area or beyond. Shipley residents, hotel staff and other guests very friendly with a good welcome to all.
We love coming and stay in this hotel, the staff are very pleasant and helpfully, if you want to be left alone just put your do not disturb sign on your door and you are set for a nice relaxing stay. This was are 3rd or 4th stay this year so far, and it could be more by the year end. Thank you to all the staff.
We have stayed here before and the service and staff can not be beaten Stayed for 3 nights and the breakfast is first class Wi Fi for free when other hotels charge and the service is not very good Will stay again in the near future
Stay was very pleasant, but there were no staff on the desk on arrival. One staff member was sitting at the bar working with a laptop. Whether it was private or business I couldn't say but it didn't give me the right impression at the time. Staff should be stationed at the desk in my opinion.
Excellent hotel for a quiet stay and value for money. 15 mins into Leeds on the train £10. 20 return for two off peak. Free parking. Good restaurants nearby - the aagrah and the shimla (no alcohol served) both Indians and the pub next door. Breakfast in the hotel was good.
Only stayed for 3 nights and everything from arriving to leaving was first class, all the staff were pleasant, friendly and efficient, room clean and very comfortable, great choice of breakfast. I still have family in that area and when I decide to go again Ibis will be our first choice.
Good well located hotel ideal for work.free parking ,food close by.Staff very friendlly and very helpfull. Rooms pretty standard powerful shower. The evening menu pretty basic and pricey for what it is.
